Abstract

The present invention relates to a dustbin (1) and a dustbin system for inside and outside. The dustbin (1) is provided with a hinged section on the wall thereof. Said section preferably consists of two partial walls (9) which are connected to a stationary component (11) of the wall by means of hinges (10). The operating person does not come into contact with the rubbish when the dustbin (1) is emptied. The dustbin (1) is advantageously unlatched and latched by means of a shaft in an assembly column. Said shaft contacts one or several latching hooks. The aim of the invention is to prevent the partial walls (9) of the dustbin (1) from prematurely and undesirably opening when being removed from the column. Said walls are secured by means of two parallel latching pins (16) that can be unlatched by means of a spring-loaded bar (17). The partial walls (9) are connected to said bar (17) by means of respective connecting rod assemblies (20). Restricted guidance for opening and closing the dustbin (1) is possible by means of said assemblies (20).

Description

The invention relates to a waste container for indoor and outdoor use, which is attached to a carrier, e.g. is detachably mounted on a column, as well as a waste container system having the waste container.

When handling, in particular when emptying conventional waste containers, there is often a safety risk for the people involved in the waste disposal, since it is often necessary to reach into the waste container so that injuries or infections, e.g. can come from disposable syringes, infected dressings and other questionable waste.

Ein Lösbar an einem Trager montierbarer Abfallbehälter, der eine aufklappbare und verriegelbare Wandung aufweist, ist in DE-U-75 22 239 beschrieben.DE-U-75 22 239 describes a waste container which can be detachably mounted on a carrier and which has a foldable and lockable wall.

The present invention has for its object to provide an improved waste container and an improved waste container system with which the disadvantages known in the prior art can be avoided. In particular, quick and hygienically safe handling (waste disposal) should be possible. This object is achieved with the features of the claims.

The invention is based on the basic idea that the waste container has a bottom and a wall and can be detachably mounted on a support, for example a column or wall, by means of a mounting system. According to the invention, at least a section of the wall is designed to be foldable, for example for emptying the container, this section being operatively connected to a locking device, so that after unlocking the section of the wall can be opened to expose objects inside the waste container. The locking device is preferably arranged such that it is only accessible after the waste container has been removed from the carrier, in order to prevent improper unlocking. According to the invention, the mounting system preferably has a roller provided on the bottom of the waste container, which roll into a recess formed on the carrier for the purpose positioning and fixation can be introduced. The waste container is preferably secured to the carrier by a locking device which can be opened and closed, for example, with a key. The waste container system according to the invention preferably has at least two of the waste containers, which can be mounted on a common carrier, in particular on a column.

Compared to the waste containers known from the prior art, the waste container according to the invention has the particular advantage that contactless waste disposal, which has long been required by disposal experts, is achieved, which is particularly significant due to the fact that the reckless disposal of even hazardous waste is increasing more and more Meaning is. In addition, the waste container according to the invention allows emptying and subsequent locking in a matter of seconds, it being possible at the same time to dispense with waste or plastic bags for the containers. Consequently, the waste container according to the invention ensures that waste containers are handled much more efficiently while at the same time providing optimal protection and optimal hygiene.

The area of application of the waste container according to the invention, which also encourages environmentally conscious action due to its aesthetic appearance, is diverse, e.g. public gardens and parks, outdoor leisure centers, sports facilities, exhibition halls and exhibition grounds, pedestrian zones, parking lots, rest areas, open-air catering from the bistro to the beer garden. The waste container according to the invention has proven itself through its robust and stable design, which can also be adapted in color to the respective place of use. With a multiple combination of individual containers to form a waste container system, it is possible to sort different types of waste.

The embodiment shown in Fig. 1 shows a single waste container 1 on a column 2 serving as a carrier. Instead of column 2, however, the waste container 1 according to the invention could also be mounted on any other suitable carrier, such as e.g. on a wall, a fence, a post, a traffic sign or directly on the floor. The waste container 1 preferably has a cover 3, for example in the form of a rain protection roof. The rain protection roof 3, the contour of which essentially corresponds to that of the individual container 1, can also have an ashtray. Below the cover 3, the waste container 1 has an insertion opening 4, which is essentially formed by the upwardly open wall of the container and the lower edge of the cover 3. In the region of the insertion opening 4, preferably approximately at the lower edge of the insertion opening 4, the Wall of the container 1 a handle 5 is provided, with the help of which the container 1 can be handled comfortably, for example for removing or pulling the container 1 out of the carrier 2, as shown in FIG. 2. Then the container 1 can be completely removed with one hand, as shown in FIG. 3.

The waste container 1 is preferably locked and unlocked using a special key, for example a triangular key, on a corresponding lock, for example a triangular extension 6 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 on the upper end of a shaft protruding from the column 2. The shaft is preferably operatively connected at its upper and lower end sections to a locking hook 7 in order to lock the waste container 1 on the column 2. The locking hooks 7 each engage on the waste container 1 in a bracket 8, which is designed such that the locking hook 7 preferably not only locks the container 1 on the column 2, but also the hinged sections or part walls 9 of the wall in their closed position fixed. For this purpose, it is preferred to form the bracket 8 on both part walls 9 of the wall of the individual container 1, so that the locking hook 7 engages when locking through both parts of the console 8 and thus connects the container 1 to the column 2 as well Tray 1 fixed in its closed position. The foldable part walls 9 of the wall are therefore preferably in a column 2 facing area of the individual container 1 and are connected for example by hinges 10 to the fixed, remaining part 11 of the wall of the individual container 1.

According to the illustration in FIG. 11, the waste container 1, viewed in plan view, preferably essentially has the shape of a square, from which the rear corner facing the column 2 and the corner opposite it are flattened. However, numerous other shapes are also possible, e.g. any polygon with or without flattening, cylinder or barrel shapes with or without flattening, etc.

Fixiereinrichtung. When the waste container 1 is inserted, a roller 13 which is freely rotatably mounted under the base 12 engages in a trough 14 of a support bracket 15 formed on the column 2. The roller 13 facilitates the insertion and removal of the waste container 1 and serves as a securing or fixing device.

As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, even when the waste container 1 is unlocked and removed, i. when the locking hooks 7 have released the console 8, the partial walls 9 are still held together by two locking bolts 16 in the closed state, in that they protrude into corresponding openings 19 in the hinged partial walls 9. The locking bolts 16 are preferably connected to a slide 17, which can be brought into an unlocked position against the force of a spring 18, so that the locking bolts 16 leave the openings 19 in the part walls 9 and thus open the part walls 9 and the content of the Release waste container 1. During this manipulation, the operator does not come into contact with the contents of the container 1, since the part walls 9 that can be opened open sufficiently far apart.

In Fig. 5 the unlocking of the part walls 9 is shown, and in Figs. 6 and 7 the opened waste container is shown. As shown in Fig. 7, the locking device for the hinged partitions 9 preferably further comprises two connecting rods 20, one of which has one end with the slide 17 and the other end with the respective partial wall 9 is connected. This positive guidance can effectively ensure that the partial walls 9 are opened at the same time when unlocked by the slide 17. When the slide 17 is released, the spring 18 urges it in the direction of its locked position, this movement simultaneously causing the partial walls 9 to collapse (close).

After the refuse container 1 has been reinserted into the column 2, the locking hooks 7 can be brought back into the locking position with the special key, wherein they engage in corresponding recesses 21 in the brackets 8 of the partial walls 9. These slots 21 can be seen in particular in FIG. 6.

Fig. 8 shows a side view of a first embodiment of a waste container system, which is essentially a combination with three waste containers 1 discussed above, when a rear single container 1 is not attached, so that this combination e.g. can be placed closer to a wall indoors or outdoors. In the system according to the invention, the individual containers 1 are mounted together on a support or on a column 2.

FIG. 10 shows a bottom view of this combination according to FIG. 9. As already mentioned, FIG. 11 shows the column 2 with a single container 1, FIG. 12 shows the column 2 with two individual containers arranged next to one another, FIG. 13 shows a combination with two individual containers 1 lying opposite one another, and FIG. 14 shows a combination of three individual containers 1 corresponding to the side view according to FIG. 8.

Vorteilhaft besteht das Sockelteil 22 aus Edelstahl.15 shows an embodiment of a base part 22 which can be used for mounting the column 2 and which can be screwed onto a solid floor. The column 2 is slipped onto the base part 22, ie the column 2 takes the base part 22, which in FIG. 15 is shown enlarged compared to the other figures. The column 2 is screwed to the base part 22, which has corresponding threaded bores 23, which are aligned with through bores 24 of the column 2 when the column 2 is in place. The base part 22 is advantageously made of stainless steel.

So that not everyone can detach the column 2 from the base part 22 by unscrewing the fastening screws, the base part 22 preferably has U-shaped recesses 25. Through these recesses 25 tabs 26 are formed which, if necessary, can be bent outwards before the column 2 is placed over them. When slipping over the column 2, the tabs 26 then snap into openings in the column 2.
