Description

Vorrichtung zum Bohren, insbesondere Schlag- oder Drehschlagbohren, von Bohrlöchern Device for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary impact drilling, of boreholes
The present invention relates to a device for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary percussion drilling, of boreholes, comprising a drill bit with a drilling or excavation surface, a drill pipe for introducing a torsional and / or percussion stress and for introducing a Flushing or cooling fluids in the drill bit and a cladding tube, which defines a cavity between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding pipe and is supported on the drill pipe or can be connected to the drill bit.
Mantelrohr verwendet wird, so daß in einfacher Weise ein Abtransport des abgebauten Materials in einem Freiraum um das Bohrgestänge vorgenommen werden kann, da das Bohrge- stänge üblicherweise geringere Außenabmessungen als die das Bohrloch definierende bzw. ausbildende Bohrkrone aufweist .Devices of this type for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary percussion drilling of boreholes, are known in different embodiments, in which case the removed material or the cuttings must be removed in each case. Embodiments of such drilling devices are known in which, in a modification of the embodiment mentioned at the outset, no cladding tube or jacket tube is used, so that the removed material can be easily removed in a space around the drill pipe, since the drill pipe is usually smaller Has external dimensions as the drill bit defining or forming the drill hole.
In one embodiment of the type mentioned at the outset, in which a cladding tube or jacket tube is additionally used, the dismantled material or the cuttings can be removed outside the cladding tube if the latter has a correspondingly reduced outer diameter compared to the drill bit, only relatively small free spaces arise, so that only relatively small pieces, dismantled material can be removed in this area. Since cladding tubes are usually used in devices of the type mentioned at the beginning, the external dimensions of which differ only slightly from the external dimensions of the drill bit, since the cladding tube is intended to provide at least partial support or provisional lining of the borehole, in particular in the case of brittle rock, is found in such devices , in which a comparatively large passage space is defined between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube, removal of the removed material or cuttings takes place through this free space or cavity or annular space between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube, in this connection For example, reference is made to AT-B 390 303, EP-B 0 670 950 or WO 98/20229. In these known embodiments, however, in addition to conventionally known passage openings for rinsing or. Cooling fluid, which are located on the foremost section or on the extraction surface of the drill bit, usually at least one further passage opening either also be provided on the extraction surface of the drill bit or in a lateral portion thereof, in order to introduce the removed material or cuttings to be removed into the to allow clearance or cavity defined by the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube and, subsequently, to provide removal of the mined material through this cavity. It is immediately apparent that only very small-sized material can be removed in this way, since only comparatively small passage openings can be provided in the area of the drill bit or in a connection area between the drill bit and the cladding tube in order to introduce degraded material into the cavity between the Drill pipe and the cladding tube too enable. Furthermore, there is a great risk of blockages of such passage openings, so that problems with the removal of the same, particularly in the case of coarse or granular, degraded material, are to be expected or further shredding of the already dismantled material has to be carried out in order to be introduced and passed through the passage openings in the To enable the area of the drill bit for a discharge, it being immediately apparent that such additional work of shredding by the drill bit reduces the overall drilling progress.
The present invention now aims to provide, starting from a device of the type mentioned at the outset, a device for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary impact drilling, of boreholes, with which a known removal of excavated material or cuttings by a through the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube defined cavity or annulus is easier to carry out and with which in particular also larger dimensions, dismantled material can be easily introduced into or removed from this cavity or annulus.
To achieve these objects, the device according to the invention for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary percussion drilling of boreholes, is essentially characterized in that, in a drilling position, the cladding tube is arranged at a distance from the back of the drill bit facing away from the mining area and that the drill bit in a flushing position for the cavity between the cladding tube and the drill pipe can be brought into contact with its back against the front end of the cladding tube facing the drill bit or can be connected to the front end of the cladding tube. There- that, according to the invention, in a drilling position, the cladding tube is arranged at a distance from the drill bit, a free space is provided behind the drill bit, seen from the surface of the drill bit, which has a correspondingly large passage opening for introducing the mined material or drill cuttings into releases the cavity or annular space between the drill pipe and the cladding tube, so that comparatively coarse material that is matched to the dimensions of this cladding tube can be easily introduced into the cavity and transported away by the latter. In contrast to the known state of the art explained at the outset, no additional passage openings in the area of the excavation area of the drill bit or in a lateral area thereof are required in the device according to the invention in order to introduce the removed material behind the drill bit and into the To allow defined cavity between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube, so that a weakening of the drill bit can be avoided and in particular the blockages or blockages of these discharge openings that occur in the known embodiments need not be feared. It can thus be found in the area of the mining area with the known, usually provided in a comparatively small number and having a comparatively small passage cross-section, passage openings for the cooling or rinsing fluid. In the event of a flushing or targeted delivery of the material to be removed in the annular space or cavity between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube, the invention further provides that in such a flushing position the back of the drill bit abuts the front end of the drill bit facing the drill bit Cladding tube can be brought or is connectable to the front end of the cladding tube, so that by introducing the A targeted and defined flushing of this cavity or annulus can also be achieved directly in the cooling or rinsing fluids in this annulus or cavity.
In order to enable a substantially sealing closure between the drill bit, in particular the rear side thereof facing away from the extraction surface, and the front end of the cladding tube facing the drill bit, according to a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the cladding tube has a free space between at its front end facing the drill bit defines the drill pipe and its interior for an at least partial overlap of the end of the drill bit facing away from the excavation surface, so that in such a position further penetration of excavated material into this connection area between the drill bit and the pipe is reliably avoided and thus no blockages for further use of the drill bit are to be feared.
Um bei überaus grobkörnigem bzw. -stückigem, abgebautemIn order to remove extremely coarse-grained or chunky
Material to avoid laying the comparatively large passage cross-section of the inlet or cavity defined between the drill pipe and the interior of the cladding tube is provided according to a further preferred embodiment that on the outer circumference of the drill rod and / or the cladding tube a sleeve element to limit the free passage cross section is provided at the front end of the cladding tube. Such a sleeve element can be adapted to any restrictions or constrictions of the passage cross section to be provided in the interior of the cladding tube, which can occur, for example, in the area of connecting pieces between the individual parts of the drill pipe and / or the cladding tube, so that it is ensured in each case that even with comparative greater Blocking or wedging of larger, dismantled pieces of material in the interior of the cladding tube is reliably avoided in the opening between the drill pipe and the cladding tube.
As already indicated above, the device according to the invention for dispensing the flushing or cooling fluid requires only a comparatively small number of through-openings on the surface of the drill bit, whereby for a simple flushing of the cladding tube between the drill pipe and the cladding tube, according to another In a preferred embodiment it is provided that the drill bit each has at least one passage opening for dispensing the flushing fluid in the area of the excavation area and one passage opening which opens into the area of the back of the drill bit. Such an additional passage opening in the area of the rear side of the drill bit, in the flushing position in which the drill bit is in contact with the front end of the cladding tube, is a targeted and safe introduction of the flushing fluid into the interior of the cavity - Achieved, whereby the desired cleaning or rinsing effect can be obtained reliably and with a comparatively small amount of fluid.
In order to ensure at least one additional passage opening located in the area of the back of the drill bit that this can only be acted upon in the rinsing position of the device according to the invention or in the rinsing position that a rinsing or. Cooling fluids possible, it is further proposed that a closure element is provided in the interior of the drill bit, which in the drilling position the at least one opening opening on the excavation surface and in the rinsing position the at least one opening to the rear Passage opening for dispensing the flushing fluid releases, as this corresponds to a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention. For a particularly small-sized and safe-to-operate embodiment, it is preferably provided in this connection that the closure element is formed by a sleeve which is guided in the interior of the drill bit and surrounds a feed line for the flushing fluid which runs essentially centrally in the drill bit and which is counteracted by a spring force pin or bolt element projecting from the area to be excavated can be displaced in the drilling position in the interior of the drill bit in the longitudinal direction thereof. Such a sleeve-shaped closure element can be designed to be correspondingly robust and of small construction, so that reliable operation is ensured over long periods of time even under the harsh operating conditions in a borehole. Furthermore, the pin or bolt element protruding from the excavation or drilling surface enables automatic blocking and unblocking of the desired passage opening or passage openings in the area of the drilling surface or in the area of the back in the rinsing position, since at retraction of the drill bit in contact with the cladding tube to take the rinsing position, the surface of the drill bit comes out of contact with the dismantled end face of the borehole and thus, against the spring force, an automatic displacement of the sleeve-shaped closure element to release only the passage opening or passage openings on the back of the drill bit is achievable.
According to the intended use and the material to be mined, it is also preferably provided for the device according to the invention that the flushing fluid is formed by compressed air or a liquid, in particular water, under pressure. A particularly simple coupling of a drill bit with a cladding tube surrounding the drill pipe can moreover be achieved in that the drill bit is divided into a central inner part and an outer part, in particular detachably coupled thereto, surrounding the inner part in an annular manner, as is a further preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention corresponds.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments schematically illustrated in the accompanying drawing. 1 shows a schematic, partial section through a device according to the invention in the drilling position; and FIG. 2 likewise shows a partial, schematic section through the device according to the invention in the rinsing position in a representation similar to FIG. 1.
Hohlraum 6 eingebracht werden kann.1 and 2, generally 1 denotes a device for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary impact drilling, of a borehole schematically designated by 2, the device 1 comprising a drill bit generally designated 3, a drill pipe 4 and a cladding tube surrounding the drill pipe 5 comprises, wherein a cavity or annulus 6 is defined between the drill pipe 4 and the interior of the cladding tube 5. As can be seen in the drawing, the annular space or hollow space 6 defined between the outer circumference of the drill pipe 4 and the inner diameter or the inside of the cladding tube 5 removes broken-down, lumpy material or cuttings 7. In the area shown in FIG. 1 shown drilling position is shown that in the drilling position the front end 8 of the cladding tube 5 facing the drill bit 3 is at a distance from the rear of the drill bit 3, so that there is a large clearance for the guided alongside the drill bit 3, built material for insertion into the cavity 6 defined between the drill pipe 4 and the cladding tube 5 is available. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that comparatively large material 7 can thus be introduced into this annular space or cavity 6.
Es ist unmittelbar einsichtig, daß durch entsprechende Bemaßung der Muffe 11 eine Abstimmung auf gegebenenfalls unterschiedliche Abmessungen von Verbindungsstücken 9 erzielbar ist.1 and 2, in the area of the drill pipe 4, a connection area with 9 is indicated, in which it can be seen that this connection area 9, for example of individual sections of the drill pipe, has an enlarged outer diameter compared to the rest of the drill pipe 4, wherein in these areas an additional support of the cladding tube 5, which is usually of comparatively small thickness, is indicated by 10. In order to avoid blocking in particular in such a partial area 9 when very large pieces of material 7 are introduced, a socket element is indicated schematically in FIG. 1 by 11, which then narrows the free entry gap or entry cross section into the cavity β at the rear of the drill bit 3 , so that only correspondingly smaller material particles 7 can enter this cavity 6, so that wedging or blocking thereof in the interior of the cavity 6, for example in the region of the connecting elements 9, is avoided with certainty. It is immediately apparent that a suitable dimensioning of the connecting pieces 9 can be achieved by appropriate dimensioning of the sleeve 11.
In the drilling position shown in FIG. 1, a flushing or cooling fluid introduced through the interior of the drill pipe 4 in a known manner into the area of the drill bit 3 via passage openings designated at 12 and 13 on the drilling or extraction surface 14 of the drill bit 3 applied, which on the one hand rinsing and cooling the Mining area 14 takes place and, on the other hand, according to arrows 15, by returning the flushing or cooling fluid that is usually introduced under pressure, which can be formed by compressed air or, for example, water under pressure, in addition to the drill bit 3, an action or entrainment of degraded material 7 into the Cavity 6 takes place, so that a directed and supported by the flushing fluid discharge of the mined material or cuttings 7 through the cavity 6.
If the cavity 6 is to be rinsed or the dismantled material or cuttings 7 contained therein are to be completely discharged, the drill bit 7 can be withdrawn in a simple manner into the rinsing position shown in FIG. 2 in the cladding tube 5 or in contact with the latter are so that the front 8 of the cladding tube facing the drill bit 3 comes into contact with the back of the drill bit or a rear part 16 of the drill bit 3 is overlapped by the front end 8 of the cladding tube 5. For this purpose, a corresponding free space is provided in the area of the front end 8 of the cladding tube 4.
Kuhlfluids durch die an derFurthermore, it can be seen in FIG. 2 that, instead of dispensing the flushing or cooling fluid introduced into the drill bit 3 through the drill rod 4, through the at the
Kuhlfluids in den Hohlraum 6 zwischen demRemoval surface 14 opening openings 12 and 13 at the rear 16 of the drill bit at least one further passage opening 17 is provided, via which, according to the arrow 18, a discharge of the flushing or cooling fluid into the cavity 6 between the
Drill pipe 4 and the interior of the cladding tube 5 takes place. In the position shown in FIG. 2, the free fluid passage to the passage openings 12 and 13 is blocked by a sleeve-shaped closure element 19 which extends in the longitudinal direction 20 of the drilling device 1. is displaceable against the force of a spring 21, so that in the flushing position shown in FIG. 2, the flushing or cooling fluid flows directly from an essentially central feed bore in the drill pipe 4 into at least one passage opening 17 facing the rear of the drill bit 3 entry. The sleeve-shaped closure element 19 is further coupled to a pin or bolt element 22 which protrudes beyond the excavation surface 14 in the flushing position shown in FIG. 2, while in the drilling position shown in FIG. 1 it comes into contact with the material 23 to be mined and in this way the sleeve-shaped closure element 19 moves against the force of the spring 21 into the position shown in FIG. 1, in which the passage opening 17 is closed off by the closure element 19 and in turn the cooling fluid is only discharged through the passage openings 12 and 12 facing the excavation surface 14 13 is possible.
In the embodiment shown in the drawing, it can also be seen that the drill bit 3 is essentially subdivided into a central middle part 24 and an annular outer part 25 surrounding it, removal tools or elements formed by pin-like hard material inserts, for example, each being indicated by 26 are.
With the device 1 shown, it is thus possible to safely remove even coarse material or cuttings 7 in adaptation to a cavity 6 between the drill pipe 4 and the cladding tube 5 which results in a comparatively large passage cross section, with additional through openings in the drill bit 3, which a return of material, as was provided in the prior art, is not necessary. Furthermore, by the possibility of removal of coarse material or drill cuttings 7 also fully use the impact or mining energy introduced by the drill pipe 4 to produce the borehole 2. and does not have to be used for further comminution of the excavated material, as was required in the prior art, to allow the same to be transported away through passage openings in the drill bit 3.
