Description

The invention relates to a flat knitting machine having at least one guide bed for knitting tools such as needles or stitch transfer elements, wherein the knitting tools are slidably mounted in grooves of the at least one guide bed according to the preamble of claim 1.

In the EP 0 103 033 and the EP 0 286 050 are flat knitting machines with guide beds for transfer elements disclosed, wherein the guide beds are divided in the middle of the needle beds and can be moved separately from each other in the longitudinal direction. Such a division of the guide beds, for example, when knitting a V-cut has the advantage that the reduction of the two cutout halves can be made in each case by a synchronous offset of the two halves of the guide bed to the outside in one step. If the guide bed for the stitch transfer elements were not split, two steps would be needed. However, if stitching operations are required across the center of the needle bed due, for example, to a corresponding pattern of knit fabric, one-piece guide beds for transfer elements offer advantages since then the offset across the center of the needle bed can be accomplished with an offset step. In split guide beds according to the prior art, however, two offset steps would be necessary.

However, the known split guide beds can not be used as a one-piece guide bed, since they no longer have grooves for receiving knitting in the joint area. The grid of the arrangement of mesh transfer elements in grooves is thus interrupted at the separation point.

From the CH 501 753 is a machine with a first pair of beds for knitting a body part in tube form known. Furthermore, two second, laterally mutually movable and the first pair of beds superimposed bed pairs are provided.

In a flat knitting machine according to the DE 39 31 414 A1 with two main and auxiliary needle beds, at least one auxiliary needle bed is divided into at least two auxiliary needle bed parts. By displacing the auxiliary needle bed parts with each other or each other, a variety of knitting patterns can be achieved with little effort, and in particular, it is possible to provide complete knitted garments in one knitting operation without additional finishing operations.

From the FR 1 176 276 It is known to connect two needle bed parts together so that they overlap each other at the junction.

In the CH 345 099 a hand flat knitting apparatus is described with at least one consisting of two parts needle bed, the parts are then in the working position of the apparatus to each other in alignment and are provided on the two parts of the needle bed with mating clutch provided coupling, which can be tightened by means of at least one screw connection to each other ,

The present invention has for its object to provide a flat knitting machine with at least one guide bed so that it combines the advantages of knitting machines with split guide beds and knitting machines with one-piece guide beds.

The object is achieved with a flat knitting machine with the features of claim 1. In this case, when assembled parts of the at least one guide bed all grooves of the guide bed can be equally spaced. Then there is no difference to a flat knitting machine with a one-piece guide bed when joining the parts of the guide bed. There are not only the same number of knitting tools in the needle bed available, but these are also still arranged at the same distance as in a one-piece guide bed.

If, for example, transfer operations are to be carried out beyond the separation point of the individual guide bed parts, all parts of the at least one guide bed can preferably be adjustable together in the longitudinal direction of the guide bed, ie behave like a uniform guide bed, which is advantageous for this type of transfer operation.

However, the parts of the at least one guide bed are also independently adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the guide bed. Such an adjustment of the guide bed parts is advantageous for example for the formation of V-cutouts or the like.

The separation points between the parts of the at least one guide bed can be arranged either between two grooves of the guide bed or even within the grooves of the guide bed and there preferably at the groove edge. To increase the stability, it is also advantageous that the outer walls of the outermost grooves of the parts of the at least one Guide bed at the or the separation points are at least partially reinforced. The parts are interlinked at the separation point (s).

Hereinafter, possible embodiments of split guide beds of a flat knitting machine according to the invention and its application will be described with reference to the drawings.

In Fig. 1a, a knitted piece 1 with a V-neck 2 is shown. In order to form the V-cutout, the two knit areas bounding the cutout must be reduced. For this purpose, a split Führungshett with mesh transfer elements can be used with advantage. 1a shows a guide bed 10 according to the prior art with two halves 3 and 4 and stitch transfer elements 30 and 40, wherein the two halves in the directions of arrows 300 and 400 are movable separately from each other, so that the reduction processes for the two of the V- Cut 2 limiting knit areas can be performed with only one offset step per knitting row. However, as Fig. 1a illustrates, the guide bed halves 3 and 4 are not adapted to be used as a unitary guide bed such as shown in Fig. 1b.

In the knitted piece 6 according to FIG. 1b, however, the use of a one-piece guide bed 8 with stitch transfer elements 80 is advantageous. The knitted fabric 6 has namely in the region of the center of the guide bed a pattern 7, which is formed by lateral looping. By moving back and forth of the guide bed 8 in the direction of the double arrow 800, these Umhängevorgänge can be realized very well and more economically than with the two Führungsbetthälften 3 and 4 of Fig. 1a.

Werden die Führungshetthälften 100 und 200 in der in Fig. 2 gezeigten Weise zusammengefügt und synchron und parallel zueinander mittels der Spindeln 120 und 220 über getrennte Motoren 130 und 230 bewegt, so verhalten sich die Führungsbetten 100 und 200 insgesamt wie ein einteiliges Führungsbett.2 and 3 now show a guide bed 300 with two Führungsbetthälften 100 and 200 for knitting tools, such as needles or stitch transfer elements according to the invention, the advantages of known from the prior art of FIG. 1 guide bed 10 with the Führungsbetth halften 3 and 4 and the one-piece guide bed 8 together. The two Führungsbetthälften 100 and 200 can be merged so that no disruption of the grid of grooves 110 and 210 is formed by the parting plane 150. The distance S 'of the two grooves 110 and 210 is identical to the distance S of the grooves 110 and 210 of the two guide bed halves 100 and 200. If the Führungshetthälften 100 and 200 are assembled in the manner shown in Fig. 2 and synchronously and parallel to each other by means of the spindles Moving 120 and 220 via separate motors 130 and 230, the guide beds 100 and 200 behave as a whole, like a one-piece guide bed.

Fig. 3 shows the Führungsbetthälften 100 and 200 in a separate state. By providing the separate motors 130 and 230 and the threaded spindles 120 and 220, the two guide bed halves 100 and 200 can be moved completely separate from each other, so that, for example, the knitted piece 1 shown in FIG. 1a with a V-neck 2 with the guide bed halves 100 and 200 as well as with the Führungsbetth halften 3 and 4 according to the prior art can be produced.

It can be seen from this enlarged detail that the groove walls the outermost groove 110 of the guide half 100 and the first groove 210 of the guide bed half 200 are nowhere interrupted. The outer wall of the groove 110 and the outer wall of the groove 210 are interlocked, resulting in each case sections 115 for the groove 110 and sections 215 for the groove 210 in which the groove wall is reinforced. Overall, these reinforcement zones result in a sturdier construction than separating the two guide beds 100 and 200 along the parting plane 150. This would result in the outer walls of the grooves 110 and 210 being only half the thickness everywhere compared to the walls between the remaining grooves the guide beds 100 and 200 would have.

The cut thus takes place in the region of the reinforcement zone 115 of the outer wall of the groove 110. It can be clearly seen from FIG. 4b that the two walls of the grooves 110 and 210 together give the same thickness as the groove walls 105 and 205, that is, if guide-bed halves are joined together 100 and 200, the grid of the grooves of the two Führungshetthälften 100 and 200 is not interrupted at the separation point.

Fig. 4c zeigt einen Schnitt durch die Führungsbetthälften 100 und 200 aus Fig. 4a entlang der Linie Y-Y, also durch einen Bereich, in dem die Außenwandung der Nut 210 im Vergleich zur Wandung der Nut 110 verstärkt ist.4c shows a section through the guide bed halves 100 and 200 from FIG. 4a along the line Y-Y, that is to say through a region in which the outer wall of the groove 210 is reinforced in comparison to the wall of the groove 110.

Insbesondere aus den Schnittdarstellungen der Fig. 5b und 5c ist zu erkennen, dass jetzt die Trennung der beiden Führungsbetten 100' und 200' jeweils am Rand des Grundes der Nuten 110' und 210' verläuft.FIGS. 5a to 5c are illustrations corresponding to FIGS. 4a to 4c of a further possibility of an embodiment of a parting plane 150 'between two guide bed halves 100' and 200 'of a guide bed 300'. Here, too, a toothing of the two guide beds 100 'and 200' in the region of the parting plane 150 'takes place, but here in that the outer wall of the groove 110 of the guide bed 100' in the sections 215 'respectively is interrupted. The outer wall of the groove 210 'is interrupted, but offset to the outer wall of the groove 110' in sections 115 '. In particular, from the sectional views of Fig. 5b and 5c it can be seen that now the separation of the two guide beds 100 'and 200' respectively at the edge of the bottom of the grooves 110 'and 210' extends.
