Claims (13)

  1. A rail mounting system comprising a rail element (8) and at least one fixing element (1, 7) which can be releasably mounted to the rail element (8) for fixing the rail element (8) to a body or wall element, wherein at least the fixing element (1, 7) or the rail element (8) is in the form of a profile part with two limb portions (14), wherein the limb portions (14) of said element enclose the other element in the mounted condition, characterised in that the minimum spacing (f) between the two limb portions (14) is smaller at least in region-wise manner than the maximum transverse extent (e) of the enclosed element perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis thereof.
  2. A rail mounting system according to claim 1 characterised in that the enclosed element is the rail element (8).
  3. A rail mounting system according to claim 2 characterised in that the limb portions (14) have at least one and preferably at least two projections which are preferably in the form of impressed portions (3), wherein the minimum spacing (f) between the two limb portions (14) is formed by the spacing between a projection (3) and the oppositely disposed limb portion or between mutually oppositely disposed projections (3) of different limb portions.
  4. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that there is provided a holding element (2, 9) which when the fixing element (1, 7) and the rail element (8) are assembled prevents a relative movement between the elements in the longitudinal direction of the rail element.
  5. A rail mounting system according to claim 4 characterised in that the holding element (2, 9) comprises a hook (2)-opening (9) connection.
  6. A rail mounting system according to claim 5 characterised in that the rail element (8) has an opening (9) or a plurality of openings spaced in the longitudinal direction of the rail element (8) and the fixing element (1, 7) has a hook (2), wherein the hook (2) can be brought into engagement with an opening (9) on the rail element (8).
  7. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the rail element (8) is a profile part which is preferably of a C-shaped cross-section.
  8. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 7 characterised in that the fixing element (1) has a profile part which is preferably of a U-shaped cross-section.
  9. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that the rail element (8) and the at least one fixing element (1) in the assembled condition are in surface contact along an overlap portion (11).
  10. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 9 characterised in that there are provided two fixing elements (1, 7) for fixing the rail element (8) to a wall element.
  11. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 6 to 10 characterised in that the hook (2) is formed by a tongue which projects beyond the at least one fixing element (1) and which is angled at least once and preferably twice through preferably about 90°.
  12. A rail mounting system according to claim 11 characterised in that the tongue is angled twice and the part of the tongue (2), that is remote from the fixing element, is of a length c which is greater than the width d of the openings (9).
  13. A rail mounting system according to one of claims 1 to 12 characterised in that the rail element (8) is the outer rail of a telescopic guide with an outer rail, an inner rail and optionally one or more central rails, which are preferably mounted displaceably relative to each other by way of ball bearings in the longitudinal direction of the rails.
