  • a) Bei Geschwindigkeiten bis ca. 8 km/h vorkommende kleinere Stöße werden allein durch die - insbesondere in den Fig. 9 und 10 nicht verformt gezeigten - Stoßverzehreinheiten 1 aufgenommen, die sich dabei plastisch verformen (siehe Fig. 5 und 6). Die Stoßverzehreinheiten 1 werden anschließend einfach durch neue Bauteile ersetzt. Das Fahrzeug selbst bleibt frei von Beschädigungen.
  • b) Bei Geschwindigkeiten bis etwa 17 km/h verformen sich die Stoßverzehreinheiten 1 und zusätzlich das Sandwichbauteil 2 (siehe Fig. 7 und 8), das also außer seiner tragenden Funktion auch dem Stoßverzehr dient. Auch in diesem Falle kann durch eine kleinere Reparatur mit Hilfe einfach austauschbarer Bauelemente die bestehende leichte Beschädigung des Fahrzeuges behoben werden.
  • c) Bei Geschwindigkeiten bis ca. 32 km/h ist von einem größeren Unfall auszugehen, bei dem jedoch außer den Stoßverzehreinheiten 1 und dem Sandwichbauteil 2 nur die mittleren Abschlußträger 5 der Fahrzeugstruktur verformt werden. Die äußeren Langträger und die eigentliche Fahrgastzelle bleiben jedoch auch bei einer derartig hohen Energieaufnahme unbeschädigt.

    Claims (4)

    1.
