Claims (17)

  1. Device (1) for packaging and applying a haircare product, particularly in the form of a gel, comprising a container (2) containing the product, the said container being surmounted by an applicator head (10) comprising a plurality of applicator elements (16, 24), in particular in the form of teeth, at least one opening (15) in communication with the container being arranged in such a way as to allow the product to emerge outside the applicator elements, at least some (24) of the applicator elements being mounted on a support (22) which can move between a first position in which the said opening (15) is closed off and a second position in which the said opening (15) is at least partially uncovered, characterized in that the said at least one opening (15) is arranged in such a way as to allow the product to emerge outside the applicator elements, near their base, and in that means (15, 30, 31) are provided for reversibly locking the movable support (22) in the first and in the second position.
  2. Device (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the applicator elements are configured in the form of a first row (24) mounted on the said movable support (22).
  3. Device (1) according to Claim 2, characterized in that, when the movable support (22) is in the second position, the said opening(s) (15) is (are) outside the mid-plane containing the said first row of applicator elements (24).
  4. Device (1) according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that it also comprises a second row (16) mounted fixedly on the applicator head (10), the said opening(s) (15) being outside the mid-plane containing the said second row of applicator elements (16), the first row of applicator elements (24) being mounted on the movable support (22) in such a way as to move with respect to the second (16) in a direction perpendicular to the latter (16).
  5. Device (1) according to Claim 4, characterized in that the applicator elements of the first row (24) differ from the applicator elements of the second row (16) in terms of at least one feature, in particular length, spacing or cross section.
  6. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 4 to 5, characterized in that in the second position of the movable support (22), the said opening(s) (15) is (are) arranged on one side of the first row (24), or between the first (24) and second (16) rows.
  7. Device (1) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the said opening(s) (15) consist(s) of at least one slot oriented parallel to the row(s) of applicator elements (16, 24) and of a length substantially equal to the length of the row(s) of applicator elements (16, 24).
  8. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 2 to 7, characterized in that, within one row (16, 24), the applicator elements are of identical or different lengths.
  9. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said container (2) comprises at least one wall (40) which is compressible, preferably elastically compressible, in such a way as, in response to pressure exerted transversely or axially on the said wall, to generate inside the container (2) an excess pressure capable of causing the product to emerge through the said opening(s) (15) when the support (22) is in the second position.
  10. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the container (2) is made, entirely or partly, of a material selected from polyethylenes, in particular low-density or very low-density polyethylenes, polyvinyl chlorides, or complexes based on aluminium, or of the polyethylene/ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH)/polyethylene type.
  11. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the container (2) is integral with a handle (50), formed in particular on an end wall (3) of the container.
  12. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the applicator head (10) is mounted on the container by snap-fastening, screwing, bonding or welding.
  13. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that means (30) are provided to improve the sealing of the opening(s) (15) when they are closed, when the support (22) is in the first position.
  14. Device (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the movable support (22) is mounted so as to be able to slide on the applicator head (10).
  15. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the applicator head (10) is mounted removably on the container (2).
  16. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a lid (25) for removably covering the applicator head (10) .
  17. Use of a device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims for applying a haircare product, particularly a styling gel or dye.
