Definitions
- the invention relates to a profile system for the cross section of flat keys with teeth on the key face Positioning of core and housing pins, and for the Cross section of key channels in cylinder cores from Locking cylinders, being used to build locking systems for everyone Cross-section of an overlapping invariant within each system Guide profile made of opposing profile elements such as ribs or grooves in the central area of the cross section between the back of the key and the key chest there is provided where the head ends of the core pins in the cylinder core lie and on both sides of the guide profile for Structure of a locking hierarchy of variation profile elements provided are.
- a locking system is known from AT 358 951 B, that of an always unchanged within a plant, in Middle area of the key cross section or the key channel cross section arranged, overlapped guide profile. Both towards the key back as well area towards the key chest is for the variation profile can be used.
- This tripartite division of the profile with the invariant overlapped guide profile in the middle area has the advantage that the head ends of the Core pins through the overlapping profile ribs of the key channel covered for all system cylinders and thus for scanning is difficult or impossible to access.
- the invention aims to copy a key as well as scanning, especially with the transmission of vibrations on the tumbler pins so difficult that they refrain from doing so.
- This is achieved that both flanks of each groove or rib of the guide profile different acute angles in the same direction per groove or include rib to the profile center axis, the grooves or ribs formed as undercut grooves or ribs are. If a stylus, especially one electronically vibrated needle on the oblique lying surfaces of the ribs in the key channel, is deflected to the side and reaches the head of the Core pins are not.
- the manufacture of different Flank angles formed undercut Key grooves as guide profile grooves are particularly difficult and cannot be realized with the usual scanning methods when copying.
- the profile system starts from the overlapped, in the center of the profile cross-section arranged, undercut guide profile out. You can build any variation profile elements a locking system above and below the guide profile be used. Particularly difficult in terms of The replacement key production is when both sides of the guide profile on the walls of the keys and Key channels provided variation profile elements that by leaving or taking away, key one Lock cylinder in the sense of a predeterminable locking authorization assign or exclude from a locking cylinder, Grooves or ribs are with flanks, the flank angle of each Groove or rib to the profile center axis as different in particular large acute angles formed in the same direction are.
- the orientation of the grooves or ribs with respect the management profile can be another special feature especially when the acute angle of the undercut Grooves or ribs on both sides of the guide profile are oriented opposite to each other.
- the undercut Grooves can be designed differently. For the deep overlap it is useful if the at the bottom of the groove the guide profile grooves or the variation profile grooves lying surface approximately perpendicular to the angular symmetry the groove flanks of the guide profile grooves or the variation profile grooves, is aligned. It could be the variation profile elements also represent parallelograms in cross-section.
- a special embodiment of the invention is thereby characterized in that in the cylinder core perpendicular to the key or.
- a safety slide is provided at the key channel level is that on its key channel side or head side End at least part of the undercut rib of the Guide profile of the key channel to form a positive connection with the key and the one with his foot end on the bore wall of the cylinder housing for the cylinder core rests and that in the cross-sectional plane the safety slide in the web area of his foot side End or immediately at the foot end in the bore wall of the housing a recess is provided, in which the Submerged slide on the foot side with a radial displacement and twisting, in particular turning the cylinder core further locks.
- a key is the undercut Guide profile does not have, but for example on this Place the key flat sides with a known V-shaped open groove is formed, then the slide not held by this wrong key.
- the Slider can under the action of radial spring forces in a Immerse the housing-side recess, and there at one Attach the restricted area. A further turning is blocked is simply a turning back to the key withdrawal position possible. Only the right key hooks with its undercut Profile element in the slider and holds it reliably firm, so that it does not back away and thus the Can lock rotation.
- the safety slide the depression in the housing bore immediately opposite and that the safety slide from the undercut groove or rib of the key in radial Direction can be positioned perpendicular to the key channel plane, is retractable and fixable in position.
- the undercut groove grips the slide and in the course of the further insertion movement towards Pull the key channel center plane.
- This could be the inside flank the undercut groove away from the tip of the key be aligned obliquely to the cross-sectional central plane.
- the slider becomes its rotation of the cylinder core blocking starting position in the cylinder core withdrawn, the cylinder core during the key insertion "Unlocked".
- a flat key especially a system key Key back, serrated key chest and a profiled Cross-section showing an overlapped guide profile in the Middle area of the cross section and on both sides on the flat sides to the back of the key as well as to the key chest Contains variation profile elements, is with the invention
- such a key offers increased security, because the corresponding locking cylinder in the area of the point of attack the core pins as a result of the undercuts is particularly protected against palpation.
- FIG. 1 shows a cross section through a key blank of a flat key with an inventive Guide profile
- Fig. 2 shows an alternative embodiment
- FIG. 3 shows a cross section according to FIG. 1 with variation profiles
- Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 alternatives to Fig. 3 Fig. 6, 7 and 8 each from individual system keys 3, 4 and 5
- Fig. 9 a locking cylinder in cross-section, with the right key and with a profile-controlled safety slide
- Fig. 10 one Execution similar to Fig. 9 with the wrong key in the Blocked position by the safety slide.
- a profile system for the construction of locking systems concerns both the key profile cross sections and the key channel cross sections the lock cylinder. All profile systems is common that the key is through one within one System always constant (“invariant") management profile be positioned exactly in the key channel and that in addition, a variation profile system both on the key is also provided on the key channel cross section. always when the key channel cross-section is the same or that Envelope of the key cross-section forms, the Keys are inserted into the key channel.
- Fig. 1 is a cross section for a key blank or for a key channel with a guide profile.
- This comprises two overlapping grooves 1, 2 for the key or ribs for the key channel whose Each flank acute angle ⁇ 1 and ⁇ 2 to the profile center line lock in.
- Such undercuts are Imitation of a key is difficult to manufacture and is not required in the usual copy milling of a key profile.
- That overlapped undercut guide profile is in the middle of the key or key channel cross section. For the Key channel, this means that the corresponding to the grooves 1, 2 Ribs in the area of the end faces of the core pins of the cylinder core of the locking cylinder.
- a needle which as a scanning tool for moving the core and housing pins, e.g. according to the Hobbian method of a burglar is led into the key channel, experiences a distraction through the profile ribs in Fig. 1 to the right to the side out.
- electronic scanning devices on the The basis of needles that are set in vibration the expected success does not occur because of the swinging needles distracted and inoperative in a lateral position being held.
- Fig. 1 is the key blank or the key channel shown with slightly inclined side walls. A tapering of the profile to the key face or to the Core pins mean another difficulty in scanning.
- Fig. 3 are always of a locking system existing invariant leadership profile based on both sides the same variation profile elements 4, 5, 6 7 are drawn. These are shown as a grid and show all available variations.
- 6 is a profile or cross section of an asset key the profile system shown in FIG. 3.
- Fig. 4 is the same, centrally arranged, overlapped and undercut guide profile an alternative for variation profile elements 8, 9, 10, 11. They are all Possibilities within this variation profile system shown in a grid pattern. The step change from one variation profile element to the next must be large enough so that a key, e.g. even with normal wear and tear, does not suddenly lock a cylinder that is outside is within the authority of the key holder. According to Fig. 4 are the difference areas from a variation element to next always the same size. This creates a "safety margin" created within the hierarchy of a locking system, the unwanted overlap of blocking authorizations excludes.
- 7 is a system key in Profile cross section from the profile system shown in FIG. 4. In addition to the guide profile grooves 1, 2 are the variation profile grooves 8 ', 9' and 10 'realized.
- FIG. 5 A particularly interesting profile system is shown in FIG. 5.
- a system key from the profile system 5 is shown in FIG. 8. They are Profile elements 12 ', 13', 14 'and 15' realized, the the latter undercut grooves in the key or undercut Show ribs in the key channel.
- FIG. 9 is an undercut guide groove 1 interacting safety slide 16 shown. This is in a cylinder core 17 in the vertical direction to Key channel 18 slidably mounted. A spring 19 brings a preload in the radial direction to the outside (arrow direction) on the safety slide 16.
- the safety slide 16 is at its head end with a section of the undercut rib 20, that of the undercut Groove 1 of the guide profile corresponds to the key. This rib 20 forms part of the profiling of the key channel 18.
- the foot end of the safety slide 16 lies on the bore wall of the cylinder housing 21 the bias of the spring 19.
- Fig. 10 shows the situation with such an equipped Lock cylinder if a wrong key 24 with usual Profiling is used. If such teeth Key 24 is correct, then the cylinder core 17 can be twisted a bit. However, the groove 1 'is not undercut and therefore holds the safety slide 16 on the head side not fixed. The safety slide 16 thus hooks on Key profile is not a and has a degree of freedom in Direction of action of the spring 19.
- the cylinder core rotates the safety slide slides through the key 16 with its foot end on the bore wall of the cylinder housing 21 along until it stops at the end of the recess 23. This prevents further turning and thus unlocking. If such a recess 23 is also a mirror image is provided on the bore wall, then also Locked with the wrongly profiled key prevented. A turning back is through the inlet slope to the recess 23 and removing the wrong key 24 possible.
- the undercut groove 1 could with its undercut Flank aligned obliquely to the profile center plane be a safety slider 16 which is without a key 22 immersed in a recess 23 'in the course of the insertion movement of the key 22 on the head side in the undercut groove 1 hooks and gradually lifted out of the recess 23 ' becomes.
- the undercut flank of groove 1 converges towards the key grain against the profile center plane.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a profile system for the cross section of flat keys with teeth on the key face Positioning of core and housing pins, and for the Cross section of key channels in cylinder cores from Locking cylinders, being used to build locking systems for everyone Cross-section of an overlapping invariant within each system Guide profile made of opposing profile elements such as ribs or grooves in the central area of the cross section between the back of the key and the key chest there is provided where the head ends of the core pins in the cylinder core lie and on both sides of the guide profile for Structure of a locking hierarchy of variation profile elements provided are.
A locking system is known from AT 358 951 B, that of an always unchanged within a plant, in Middle area of the key cross section or the key channel cross section arranged, overlapped guide profile. Both towards the key back as well area towards the key chest is for the variation profile can be used. This tripartite division of the profile with the invariant overlapped guide profile in the middle area has the advantage that the head ends of the Core pins through the overlapping profile ribs of the key channel covered for all system cylinders and thus for scanning is difficult or impossible to access. Further are profile grooves on the key or profile ribs in the key channel known, the acute angle to the longitudinal median plane of each Are inclined. According to DE 33 14 511 C2 lie which are at right angles to the base of the groove, acute-angled inclined side walls of each groove parallel to each other. In the flat sides facing each other are the pointed ones Angle of the side walls facing each other.
The invention aims to copy a key as well as scanning, especially with the transmission of vibrations on the tumbler pins so difficult that they refrain from doing so. This is achieved that both flanks of each groove or rib of the guide profile different acute angles in the same direction per groove or include rib to the profile center axis, the grooves or ribs formed as undercut grooves or ribs are. If a stylus, especially one electronically vibrated needle on the oblique lying surfaces of the ribs in the key channel, is deflected to the side and reaches the head of the Core pins are not. In addition, the manufacture of different Flank angles formed undercut Key grooves as guide profile grooves are particularly difficult and cannot be realized with the usual scanning methods when copying.
It is useful if the surfaces of the flanks of the Grooves or ribs, which the key chest or the core pins are facing away, depressions, for example channels have in the longitudinal direction of the key bit or of the key channel. In these recesses caught the stylus needles so they don't the core pins to reach.
The profile system starts from the overlapped, in the center of the profile cross-section arranged, undercut guide profile out. The orientation of the grooves or ribs with respect the management profile can be another special feature especially when the acute angle of the undercut Grooves or ribs on both sides of the guide profile are oriented opposite to each other. The undercut Grooves can be designed differently. The reworking of a key is undercut Grooves further complicated if the at the bottom of the guide profile grooves or the variation profile grooves Surface aligned parallel to the longitudinal median plane of the flat key is. Significant leaps in the variation profile To ensure it is appropriate if that is within a locking system with an invariant guide profile Access authorization hierarchically graded variation profile has cross-sectional jumps in cross-section, the difference surfaces from variation jump to the next Variation jump are always the same size. An imitation of a key is further complicated if the structure of the Variation profile a profile grid with at least two different has geometric shapes. If the cross-sectional shape the flat key and the key channel Trapezoidal shape with the key bit or the core pins have converging side walls, then a Scanning in the key channel, which is becoming ever narrower towards the core pin especially difficult with undercut profiles.
A special embodiment of the invention is thereby characterized in that in the cylinder core perpendicular to the key or. A safety slide is provided at the key channel level is that on its key channel side or head side End at least part of the undercut rib of the Guide profile of the key channel to form a positive connection with the key and the one with his foot end on the bore wall of the cylinder housing for the cylinder core rests and that in the cross-sectional plane the safety slide in the web area of his foot side End or immediately at the foot end in the bore wall of the housing a recess is provided, in which the Submerged slide on the foot side with a radial displacement and twisting, in particular turning the cylinder core further locks. If a key is the undercut Guide profile does not have, but for example on this Place the key flat sides with a known V-shaped open groove is formed, then the slide not held by this wrong key. The Slider can under the action of radial spring forces in a Immerse the housing-side recess, and there at one Attach the restricted area. A further turning is blocked is simply a turning back to the key withdrawal position possible. Only the right key hooks with its undercut Profile element in the slider and holds it reliably firm, so that it does not back away and thus the Can lock rotation. It is also possible that the safety slide the depression in the housing bore immediately opposite and that the safety slide from the undercut groove or rib of the key in radial Direction can be positioned perpendicular to the key channel plane, is retractable and fixable in position. When inserting the key into the key channel the undercut groove grips the slide and in the course of the further insertion movement towards Pull the key channel center plane. This could be the inside flank the undercut groove away from the tip of the key be aligned obliquely to the cross-sectional central plane. On this way the slider becomes its rotation of the cylinder core blocking starting position in the cylinder core withdrawn, the cylinder core during the key insertion "Unlocked".
A flat key, especially a system key Key back, serrated key chest and a profiled Cross-section showing an overlapped guide profile in the Middle area of the cross section and on both sides on the flat sides to the back of the key as well as to the key chest Contains variation profile elements, is with the invention Features recognizable by the flanks of each other overlapping grooves of the guide profile different Include acute angles in the same direction to the profile center axis and are designed as undercut grooves. As mentioned, such a key offers increased security, because the corresponding locking cylinder in the area of the point of attack the core pins as a result of the undercuts is particularly protected against palpation.

A profile system for the construction of locking systems concerns both the key profile cross sections and the key channel cross sections the lock cylinder. All profile systems is common that the key is through one within one System always constant ("invariant") management profile be positioned exactly in the key channel and that in addition, a variation profile system both on the key is also provided on the key channel cross section. always when the key channel cross-section is the same or that Envelope of the key cross-section forms, the Keys are inserted into the key channel.
As an additional criterion for blocking, of course, must also the teeth on the key chest are correct, that is in the Lock cylinder with spring-loaded sliding core and housing pin pairs the teeth must be arranged so that the contact levels of core and housing pins exactly in the outer surface of the cylinder core.

In Fig. 1 is the key blank or the key channel shown with slightly inclined side walls. A tapering of the profile to the key face or to the Core pins mean another difficulty in scanning.
desselben jeweils Variationsprofilelemente 4, 5, 6 7 eingezeichnet.
Diese sind als Raster wiedergegeben und zeigen
sämtliche zur Verfügung stehenden Variationen auf. In Fig. 6
Umriss das Schlüsselprofil einhüllen.2, the flanks of the
In Fig. 4 is the same, centrally arranged, overlapped
and undercut guide profile an alternative for
12, 13, 14, 15 hinterschnittene Nuten bzw.
Rippen in vier Zonen - wieder jeweils beiderseits des mittig
angeordneten, überlappenden und hinterschnittenen Führungsprofils
- dargestellt. Die Fig. 5 zeigt wieder alle Variationsmöglichkeiten
dieses Systems rasterartig übereinander
gelegt. Durch Bestehen lassen oder Wegnehmen einzelner Variationsprofilelemente
wird eine Schließanlage nach den bekannten
Kriterien aufgebaut. Ein Anlagenschlüssel aus den Profilsystem
nach Fig. 5 ist in Fig. 8 dargestellt. Es sind die
Profilelemente 12', 13', 14' und 15' realisiert, wobei die
letzteren hinterschnittene Nuten im Schlüssel bzw. hinterschnittene
Rippen im Schlüsselkanal darstellen.A particularly interesting profile system is shown in FIG. 5. In addition
to the guide profile with the
If the appropriate key 22 in the key channel according to FIG. 9

Fig. 10 shows the situation with such an equipped
Lock cylinder if a wrong key 24 with usual
Profiling is used. If
The undercut
