Description

The invention relates to a wall calendar with a stack of sheets, which are held by at least one binding element along one side such that the sheets are individually foldable, wherein the binding element is formed of wire which is formed at predetermined grid intervals meandering to engagement elements, which in Punching holes of the stacked leaves grip. Furthermore, the invention relates to a fastening element, which is detachably connectable to a binding element made of wire.

In den Dokumenten EP-A- 0 095 243, EP-A- 0 095 245, EP-A- 0 292 265, EP-A- 0 292 271 und EP-A-0 322 163 sind derartige Bindeelemente beschrieben. In the prior art wall calendars are known which have the said binding element. Such a binding element is described, for example, in EP 0 285 355 B1. A wall calendar equipped with such a binding element can be folded sheet by sheet around the wire binding element, so that all the leaves of the wall calendar are preserved. Such wall calendars are generally of relatively high quality, for example, they contain images of known painters or known photographers. In documents EP-A-0 095 243, EP-A-0 095 245, EP-A-0 292 265, EP-A-0 292 271 and EP-A-0 322 163, such binding elements are described. Generally, along one side of the sheets of the wall calendar, two binding elements are spaced apart. Between these binding elements, a wire hanger with a hanging loop is inserted, on which the wall calendar can be hung. The stack of calendar sheets must then have a recess in the region of the hanging loop in order to be able to lay these sheets past the hanging loop sheet by sheet. The disadvantage of this type of wall calendar is that no customizable additional advertising space is available, which remains visible leaf by leaf. Rather, advertising information or other individual information must be applied to each sheet specifically to make them permanently visible to the viewer.

There are also known wall calendars, which are provided with a Kopflasche. This Kopflaschen can be made of paper, cardboard or cardboard. The Kopfll is often individualized and provided with information, such as promotional information on a giveaway. In addition, this Kopflasche contains a suspension, in the simplest case, a hole to which the entire wall calendar can be hung on a hook. In general, the following procedure is used in the production of such a wall calendar with a top flap: The leaves of a wall calendar are produced as mass-produced articles for a large number of different top bottles. The Kopflaschen, which are provided with individual advertising information, such as company information, are permanently connected in the required, relatively small edition with the leaves of the wall calendar, for example by stapling. The individual sheets of the wall calendar are not folded, but are torn off along a perforation. The Kopflasche must be adapted in size exactly to the calendar sheets to ensure a shapely appearance. In this way, the flexibility for advertising measures and for individual customer requirements is low. The variation of advertising is on the various printing options on the Kopflasche and the materials used for this, such as cardboard, limited.

Furthermore, wall calendars are known which use a metal spiral as a binding element. In these wall calendars, although the leaves can be folded sheet by sheet, but shift due to the pitch of the metal spiral, the leaves against each other, whereby the shapely appearance of the wall calendar is impaired. The strength of such a metal spiral is generally low. In addition, the other disadvantages of the lack of customization of the wall calendar, especially in advertising products, are given.

A wall calendar according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE 200 11 014 U.

It is an object of the invention to provide a wall calendar and a fastener for a wall calendar, the wall calendar is customizable and economically producible in a simple manner.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments are specified in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, a fastener is provided that can be engaged with and engage around a plurality of engaging elements of the binding element. In this state, the fastener is sufficiently stable connected to the binding element, for example, to serve as a hanging device for the wall calendar. The fastener can be easily solved by these engaging elements again, for example, to allow the page turning sheet by sheet. After turning the fastener is again brought into engagement with the engaging elements and serves again to hang the wall calendar. On the surface of the fastener can the wall calender customizing information, such as advertising information, a company logo, etc. be applied. By connecting the fastener with the binding element of the wall calendar is thus individualized. In this way, the part of the wall calendar relating to the stack of sheets and the binding element can be produced in large numbers. The customization of the wall calendar is then done with the help of releasably attachable fastener. This wall calendars can be provided with low cost and with high-quality equipment. Even small order quantities of wall calendars can be done by a manufacturer, since only the fastener must be made individually, which can then be connected to a low-cost mass-produced product, namely consisting of the stack of sheets with the binding element. Additional work steps, such as in the production of wall calendars with Kopflasche, are not required.

Another advantage of the invention is that the separate fasteners can be made in different shapes and sizes. For example, forms that indicate a particular company are conceivable, such as the shell shell of the company Shell, etc. Also, the fastener may be adapted to the particular motif of the calendar. For example, the fastener may be designed for a calendar with floral or landscape motif in the form of a flower.

In the delivery of wall calendars can be proceeded as a result of the invention, for example, so that the customer is a customer made in mass fuselage calendar with the stack of sheets and the binding element and an attached fastener is left. The fastener may then be provided with individual print images already, or provided for example by self-adhesive labels and individual printing by the customer himself. Such information can be used on both sides Fastener be provided. The fastener may be provided, for example, on the back with the mailing address of the customer or recipient of the calendar, so that the calendar or the fastener alone can be delivered in a simple way by mail to the recipient.

Another advantage of the invention is the fact that the size of the fastener does not have to match the size of the stack of sheets, so that for calendar pages of different sizes similar fasteners can be used as long as the grid spacing for the fastener and the binding element match.

According to a preferred embodiment, the fastening element is connected in a latching manner with the binding element to produce the engaged state. The fastener snaps elastically with recesses in the engaging elements of the binding element. From this engagement state, the fastener can then be removed again by applying force. The total force with which the fastener is held on the binding element should preferably be greater than the weight of the entire wall calendar. In this way, the wall calendar can be hung on the fastener safely without the stack of leaves can solve with the binding element from the fastener in the normal operating condition.

According to an alternative, the fastener is fixed with its consistent information permanently on the wall. The sheets with the binding element are then fastened to the fastening element by clipping the binding element.

For this reason, such binding elements are also referred to as wire O-elements.

In Figure 2 it can be seen that the arrangement of Figure 1 is bent in a C-shape. In this state, the engaging elements 12 can engage in punching holes with pitch a of a stack of calendar sheets. If then the Engagement elements 12 are completely closed to an O, the calendar sheets are held in the binding element B and can be folded around the binding element sheet by sheet. This type of binding technology is known per se, and need not be further explained.

The grid spacings a are standardized. As a graduation measure is often specified how many engaging elements per inch (25.4 mm) are available. Typically, 3: 1 is considered as a division measure. However, other pitch dimensions, for example 2: 1 or 4: 1 are possible. Corresponding to the pitch and the pitch a and the punch holes are provided in the stack of calendar pages. The punched holes can be square, rectangular or round.

Figure 3 shows the structure of a fastener 16 which can be releasably connected to the engaging elements 12 of the binding element. The fastening element 16 shown in Figure 3 has a substantially rectangular shape. However, a variety of other forms are possible. On its underside a number of recesses 18 are arranged at a pitch a. These recesses 18 are attached to the engagement element 12 when connecting the fastening element 16 with the binding element, wherein they engage and the engagement elements 12 clasp, as will be explained in more detail below. To release the engagement between the recesses 18 and the engaging elements 12, the fastener 16 is withdrawn under application of force. In the example shown everyone stands. Recess 18 an engaging element 12 opposite. In one variant, however, fewer recesses may be provided, d. H. Engagement elements 12 are recesses 18 at a distance equal to the integer multiple of the distance a opposite.

The fastener 16 has various fasteners 20, 22, 24, 26. The fasteners 20, 22, 24 are formed as slots. The fastening device 26 is formed as a hole into which a wall hook for suspending the fastener 16 and thus the entire Wall calendar can intervene. The fastening device 16 has a viewing surface 30 (shown in dashed lines), which can be provided with individual information. For example, a printed image, an adhesive image, a barcode, a company logo, a hologram and / or a label can be arranged in this visible surface. In a variant (not shown in FIG. 3), the fastening element 16 comprises a foil pocket which is suitable for receiving customized information, preferably advertising information or company information. In a further alternative, the fastening element 16 may be formed as a film pocket with laminated print carriers. Preferably, the fastening element 16 is made of plastic, for example PET plastic. The fastener 16 may be formed as an individual printed product. To customize this printed product, labels, holograms, embossing, thermal transfer, adhesive labels, hologram adhesive labels can be used. Technologies to be used may be, for example, the hotmelt technology, heat-activated melt technology, hot lamination, white etching, etc.

Figure 4 shows a structure in which the fastener 16 has been brought with its recesses 18 in engagement with the tine-shaped engaging elements 12. These engaging elements 12 hold over punch holes 32 a stack 34 of calendar sheets together.

An die verengten Abschnitte 38 schließen sich erweiterte Abschnitte 40 an, deren lichte Weite größer ist als die Breite des Eingreifelements 12.Figure 5 shows the structure of a recess 18 of the fastener 16. In the front region, the recess 18 has funnel-shaped portions 36, which serve to facilitate the threading of the wire sections which define the engagement element 12. The funnel-shaped sections 36 are adjoined by narrowed sections 38 whose inside width is smaller than the width of the engagement element 12. The narrowed sections 38 are adjoined by extended sections 40 whose clear width is greater than the width of the engagement element 12.

To establish the Eingreifzustandes between the recess 18 and an engagement member 12, the fastener 16 is moved so that the funnel-shaped portions 38 to move to the engaging element 12. By elastically deforming the engagement element 12 and / or by elastically deforming the constricted sections 38, the two wire sections of the engagement element 12 reach the area of the extended sections 40. In this area, the wire sections of the engagement element 12 are preferably received with play. This game causes the entire fastener 16 in the engaged state is loosely on the binding element of wire and does not twist itself. However, it is also possible that no game is provided; the lateral portions 40 then elastically abut the wire portions of the engaging member 12. In the movement for generating the engagement, a grid-like snapping of the fastening element 16 results in the binding element B. Due to the narrowed portions 38, the wire portions of the engaging element 12 are stably held in the recess 18. The sum of the holding forces of the various recesses 18 is so great that in the normal operating state, the weight of the binding element B and the stack of calendar pages 34 is kept light.

To release the fastener 16 from the binding element B, the recess 18 is removed from the wire portions of the engaging element 12, wherein the constricted portions 38 are overcome by elastically deforming the engaging element 12 and / or the sections 38.

Figure 6 shows schematically the structure of a wall calendar according to the invention. A stack of calendar sheets 34 is held by two binding elements B in the manner of the binding element B shown in FIG. In both binding elements B a wire bracket 42 is inserted with a suspension eye 44. This wire bracket 42 can rotate about its longitudinal axis. The stack of calendar leaves 34 has a recess 46 in the region of the suspension eye 44. When moving the individual calendar pages thus disturbing the suspension eye 44 is not. The fastening element 16 is connected via its recesses 18 with the binding elements B. At the mounting hole 26, the entire wall calendar can be hung. The wire bow 42 is then not required. If desired, an additional attachment of the wall calendar on the suspension lug 44 can take place. That too Fastener 16 has a recess 48 to give space for the hanging size 44.

Then the fastener 16 is released from the binding elements B. Thereafter, a sheet is wrapped around the longitudinal axis of the binding elements B Thereafter, the fastener 16 is again connected to the binding elements B and hung the wall calendar on the mounting hole 26 on the wall

In a preferred variant, only one fastener B is used, which extends over the entire width of the calendar pages 34. On the wire bracket 42 can be omitted in this example. Such an embodiment is economical to manufacture.

In a variant of the embodiment of Figure 6 may be provided for each binding element B, a fastener on the type of fastener 16, i. The entire wall calendar can be hung on two fasteners.
