Claims (9)

  1. An electrical and mechanical interlock device intended to be associated with two contactors in order to prevent the simultaneous closure thereof, said device comprising a housing (1) bearing two input terminals (12, 13) and two output terminals (14, 15) connected to the feed circuits for the coils of the contactors and in which are mounted two levers (2, 3) which are mobile in rotation about an axis (20, 30) respectively, each feed circuit for the contactor coil arranged between an input terminal and an output terminal comprising a break contact, each lever (2, 3) bearing a movement transfer spindle by which it is linked to the movement of the slider of a contactor, having on one hand a first end (22, 32) intended to cooperate mechanically with the first end of the other lever in the operating position and on the other hand a second end (23, 26; 33, 36), borne by an arm (25, 35), intended to open the break contact of the feed circuit for the coil of the contactor cooperating with the other lever, characterised in that each break contact is formed of two conductive strips (112, 114; 113, 115; 212, 214; 213, 215) which are in contact by means of their free ends in their normal position of rest.
  2. A device according to Claim 1, characterised in that one (112, 113, 214, 215) of the strips of each break contact is a flexible strip which can be elastically deformed so as to move its free end away from the free end of the tongue with which it cooperates in the position of rest to open the break contact and return into its position of rest once it is no longer acted upon to close the break contact.
  3. A device according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the conductive strips (112, 114; 113, 115) have their free ends in two planes which are parallel to each other and parallel to the bottom of the housing (1).
  4. A device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the second ends (23, 33) of the levers (2, 3) are formed by end pieces arranged overall perpendicular to the arms (25, 35).
  5. A device according to Claim 4, characterised in that the end piece (23) of one of the levers (2) extends towards the cover and its face (24) arranged facing the cover is inclined so as to move towards said cover as it moves away from the arm (25), and the end piece (33) of the other lever (3) extends towards the bottom of the housing and its face (34) arranged facing the bottom of the housing is inclined so as to move towards said bottom as it moves away from the arm (35).
  6. A device according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, characterised in that the conductive strips (212, 214; 213, 215) forming the break contacts are arranged perpendicular to the bottom of the housing.
  7. A device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the flexible strip (214, 215) of each contact has a portion (216, 217) arranged on the path of the second end (26, 36) of the lever which has to move it away from its position of rest.
  8. A device according to Claim 6 or Claim 7, characterised in that the second end (26, 36) of a lever is formed by an end piece borne by the arm (25, 35) and extending perpendicular to said arm, overall in the direction of the rotation spindle (20, 30).
  9. A device according to Claim 8, characterised in that the end piece (26, 36) comprises a heel (27, 37) by which it comes into contact with the portion (216, 217) of the flexible strip (214, 215) at the start of the rotation of the lever (2, 3) and an end surface (28, 38) by which it acts on said flexible tongue (214, 215) to move it from its position of rest and open the break contact.
