Description

The present invention relates to a circuit breaker pole of the light bulb type. vacuum, said vacuum interrupter comprising a cylindrical insulating envelope closed by a first flange and by a second flange and containing a fixed contact linked to said first flange and a movable contact linked to a rod metallic sealingly passing through said second flange, said vacuum interrupter being supported by a support, said metal rod being electrically connected to a rigid electrical connection, via at least one flexible electrical connection and being mechanically connected to an operating rod.

We know such a circuit breaker pole in which the operating rod is tubular and articulated at one end to a control lever pivoting, while the other end has a bottom crossed by a portion of a cylindrical seat between two shoulders trapping the bottom on this cylindrical seat along which the bottom can slide freely. The cylindrical bearing surface is also linked to the metal rod and the bottom of the tubular rod rests on a spring by compressing it when the tubular operating rod moves in the direction of the closure thus ensuring a certain contact pressure upon closure.

The present invention provides another mounting for the connection between the rod metallic, linked to the movable contact, and the operating rod connected to one of its ends to a pivoting control lever. The proposed assembly is simple, space-saving, ensures good guidance of the metal rod during of its movements and thereby ensures good mechanical strength during displacements of the rod and during the electrodynamic forces undergone by the vacuum interrupter taking into account the neighboring ampoules of the other poles of the breaker.

The subject of the invention is therefore a circuit breaker pole of the light bulb type. vacuum, said vacuum interrupter comprising a cylindrical insulating envelope closed by a first flange and by a second flange and containing a fixed contact linked to said first flange and a movable contact linked to a rod metallic sealingly passing through said second flange, said vacuum interrupter being supported by a support, the metal rod being electrically connected to a rigid electrical connection, via at least one flexible electrical connection and being mechanically connected to an operating rod, characterized in that one end of the operating rod maneuver is linked to an insulating connecting rod head articulated around an axis articulation inside a cylindrical articulation yoke linked to said metal rod, the axial movement, in the axis of the vacuum interrupter, of said yoke being guided inside an insulating guide passing through said rigid electrical connection and being attached thereto, said hinge pin being trapped in said insulating guide over the entire path of its displacement when opening or closing the contacts.

According to a particular embodiment, said insulating guide is immobilized axially, radially, and in rotation by means of two rigid tongues one of which is inserted into a first groove on the outer periphery said insulating guide, first groove allowing by its length circumferential a rotation of said guide of about a quarter turn and of which the other is inserted into a second groove on the outer periphery of said insulating guide, this second groove preventing any rotation of said guide insulator when a said tab is inserted therein, said tabs being attached to said rigid electrical connection.

On va maintenant donner la description d'un exemple de mise en oeuvre de l'invention en se référant au dessin annexé dans lequel :We will now give the description of an example of implementation of the invention with reference to the appended drawing in which:

Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a vacuum interrupter circuit breaker pole according to the invention.

Fig. 2 shows in elevation the circuit breaker pole of FIG. 1 without sound support.

Fig. 3 is a partial sectional view showing the articulated connection between the connecting rod and metal rod.

Fig. 4 is a partial exploded view showing the different parts from the articulation rod up to a spacer coming to attach directly to the end of the metal rod.

Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing the insulating guide in isolation guiding the articulation yoke rigidly connected to the rod metallic.

In this figure, we see the vacuum bulb 1, the connection assembly electric connecting the mobile electric contact and its metal rod, not visible in this figure, to a rigid electrical connection 2 by via two flexible electrical connections 3 and 4, all of mechanical joint connection between the same movable contact linked to its rod metal and an operating rod 5, an insulating guide 6 ensuring the axial guidance of the parts rigidly linked to the metal rod and to the contact mobile and finally an insulating support 7A, 7B supporting the vacuum interrupter 1 by one of its ends via a rigid electrical connection 8 fixed to a first end flange 9 to which is fixed, internally, a fixed electrical contact 10 (Fig. 2) by a metal rod 11. To this support insulator 7A, 7B is also fixed the rigid electrical connection 2 electrically connected to the movable contact via the connections flexible electrics 3 and 4.

A ce support isolant 7A, 7B est également fixée une pièce en matière isolante 17 assurant le maintien radial de l'ampoule 1 du côté de son second flasque d'extrémité 13 (Fig. 2) opposé au premier flasque d'extrémité 9.To this insulating support 7A, 7B is also fixed a piece of material insulator 17 ensuring the radial maintenance of the bulb 1 on the side of its second end flange 13 (Fig. 2) opposite the first flange end 9.

We will now describe the invention in more detail with more reference particularly in Figs. 2, 3 and 4. In FIG. 2, so we see the bulb at vacuum 1 comprising a cylindrical insulating envelope 14 closed at its ends by the first metal flange 9 and by the second flange metallic 13 and internally containing its fixed electrical contact 10 linked to the first flange 9 by a rod 11 and the movable electrical contact 15 linked to a metal rod 16 which passes through the second end flange 13 of sealingly thanks to a metal sealing bellows 17. On this Figure 2, the contacts are in the closed position and the metal rod 16 can so slide down to separate the contacts.

To the metal rod 16 are fixed, by a screw 18 (Fig. 3 and 4), a metal spacer 19, a metal contact flange 20 and a yoke of cylindrical articulation 21.

The electrical connection between the movable contact 15 and its rod 16 on the one hand and the rigid electrical connection 2 on the other hand is provided by both flexible electrical connections 3 and 4 fixed on the one hand, by screws and nuts 24, 25, to the rigid electrical connection 2, itself linked to the support 7A, 7B, and on the other hand, by screws 26, to the metal contact flange 20.

Du côté du second flasque d'extrémité 13, l'ampoule est simplement maintenue radialement par une portée de maintien radial 30, solidaire du flasque 13, qui pénètre dans un orifice de la pièce en matière isolante 12 liée au support 7A, 7B.Finally, the axial movement, in the axis XX 'of the vacuum interrupter, of the mobile assembly: contact 15, mobile rod 16, spacer 19, flange 20 and yoke 21, is guided at yoke 21 by the insulating guide 6 in which slides the hinge yoke 21. The insulating guide 6, shown in isolation fig. 5, passes through the rigid electrical connection 2 through an orifice 27 and is fixed to it by means of two rigid tabs 28 and 29 immobilizing the insulating guide 6 axially, radially and in rotation; these rigid tabs are also fixed to the rigid electrical connection 2 with flexible electrical connections 3 and 4 by screws and nuts 24, 25. These tabs penetrate into grooves of the insulating guide 6, like this will be described later. When opening and closing the contacts, the hinge pin 22 remains trapped, throughout the journey, inside the insulating guide, which avoids any need to maintain this axis by a head on one side and a circlip or other equivalent retainer on the other side. As was said above during the description of FIG. 1, the bulb vacuum is supported by the support 7A, 7B at the level of the first flange 9 by the rigid electrical connection 8. On the side of the second end flange 13, the bulb is simply held radially by a span of radial retention 30, integral with the flange 13, which penetrates into an orifice of the piece of insulating material 12 linked to the support 7A, 7B.

As seen in Figures 2 and 4, the rigid tabs 28 and 29 have a curved end in the shape of a horn, this is intended to maintain flexible electrical connections 3 and 4 in good position because indeed, during the flow of current, these flexible connections are subjected to approximating electrodynamic forces.

As shown in Figure 5, the insulating guide 6 has a first external peripheral groove 31 and a second external peripheral groove 32 into which are respectively inserted the rigid tabs 29 and 28. The groove 31 has a large peripheral length and allows, once the tab 29 inserted, make at least a quarter turn with the insulating guide 6 while the groove 32 has a length corresponding to the width of the tab 28, so that, when inserted, the insulating guide 6 is immobilized in rotation. For the introduction of axis 22 in yoke 21 and the connecting rod 23, the insulating guide further comprises two recesses 33 and 34. A alone is enough, but having two allows you to introduce the axis by either side depending on the space available.

The assembly is as follows: after having fixed the spacer 19, the flange of contact 20 and the yoke 21 on the movable metal rod 16 by the screw 18, we put the insulating guide 6 around the yoke 21 and then insert the rigid tongue 29 in the groove 31 and fixed, with the flexible connection 4, at the rigid connection 2 with a bolt 24-25; we present the connecting rod 23 in the yoke 21, the pin 22 is inserted in the yoke 21 and in the connecting rod 23 passing through one of the recesses 33 or 34 of the insulating guide 6; we then traps the axis 22 in the insulating guide 6 by making it make a quarter turn, then immobilize it in rotation by inserting the rigid tongue 28 in the groove 32. This tab 28 is then fixed, with the connection flexible 3, on the rigid connection 2 with a bolt 24-25.

Le guide isolant 6 est par ailleurs une pièce en matière plastique injectée de faible coût .With these two tabs 28 and 29, the insulating guide 6 is well immobilized axially, radially and in rotation and the yoke 21 is well guided to inside this guide 6. Assembly is easy and has few parts; the whole is compact since the articulation and the guidance are done at the same level thanks to the use of a hollow cylindrical yoke with internal joint and whose external surface is guided by the insulating guide 6. No additional holding piece is required for the axle of articulation 22 since it is trapped in guide 6. We ensure a good axial guidance of the movable assembly of the vacuum interrupter during opening and closing operations, which is favorable for holding mechanical in duration and resistance to electrodynamic forces between the poles of the different phases. The insulating guide 6 is also a part low cost injected plastic.
