Abstract

Fuser-Abschnitt (20) für ein elektrofotografisches Gerät (10), welcher ein oberes flaches Abstreifelement (26) umfasst, das ohne Beschädigung der Anpresswalze (22) schnell eingebaut und ausgebaut werden kann. Das flache Abstreifelement (26) trägt eine Vielzahl von Abstreifern (33), die während des Gerätebetriebs ein Blatt Papier von der Anpresswalze (22) streifen. Fuser section (20) for an electrophotographic apparatus (10) comprising an upper flat wiper element (26) that can be quickly installed and removed without damaging the nip roller (22). The flat wiper element (26) carries a plurality of wipers (33) which, during device operation, strip a sheet of paper from the nip roll (22). To install the flat wiper element (26), guide openings in the wiper element are positioned on receiving pins (55) attached to load arms (23), which in turn support the nip roller (22). The wiper element (26) is advanced on the pins (55) and is locked by a pair of rotatable pawls (36) on the wiper element (26) which cooperate with locking surfaces on the load arms (23). To remove the flat wiper element (26), this method is reversed.
