Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a combustion device with a burner for burning a gas-air mixture, a gas supply line, into the one or more gas valves and gas valve regulating means for regulating the Gas supply to the burner and an air supply line are included a control device for controlling the combustion process, and an ionization measuring device coupled to the control device, being in series connection with the gas supply Gas valve or the gas valves or in the air supply line Throttle device with one by the control device adjustable flow opening is arranged. Also affects the Invention a method for controlling a combustion device.
The composition of the gas varies regionally. It can also Gas composition deviate from a norm or vary over time. This gives rise to the problem that in a combustion device the required gas-air ratio for an optimal, if possible clean combustion varies. That means one Combustion device adapted to the composition of the gas must become.
By the way, the term throttle or throttle device is in Understanding the scope of the invention also an injection nozzle. The Throttle affects the gas-air ratio of the burner supplied gas-air mixture.
Various devices and methods are in the prior art known for adjusting or adjusting a combustion device.
Außerhalb des Bereichs der Maximalleistung wird das Gas-Luft-Verhältnis in Abhängigkeit von dem im Bereich der Maximalleistung bestimmten Verhältnis, beispielsweise proportional, eingestellt.EP 0 962 703 describes a method for regulating a gas burner known, wherein an ionization signal of an ionization sensor for Adaptation of the gas-air mixture to different gas qualities is used. The ionization signal is in the range of Maximum output of the burner, namely in the range from 60% to 100% of the Maximum power used to adjust the gas-air ratio that there is a fixed, predetermined value of the ionization signal results. The gas-air ratio is outside the range of maximum power depending on that in the area of maximum power certain ratio, for example proportional.
A disadvantage of this method is that this regulation for Changes over time is sensitive. The ionization signal and thus the selected setting of the gas-air ratio changes changes with time due to aging, due to the spread of the Position of the ionization sensor in the flame, for example by Warping of the sensor, and / or due to contamination of the Ionization sensor, as well as due to fluctuations in the Burner delivered power. Another disadvantage is that this The procedure is not suitable for regulating the burner if it is with low power burns because of the ionization sensor signal delivered the combustion process when the burner with low power burns, does not reflect well. Since the Control device for burning with low power not for Is able to determine the optimal gas-air ratio and a proportional setting must be used instead, higher emissions of harmful components may occur.
From US 5 971 745 is a method and an apparatus for regulation a gas flame known that an ionization sensor and a has adjustable gas valve and / or an adjustable air supply line. In the control process, readjusting the air supply line or Readjusting the control signal of the gas valve by means of a specific one Algorithm determines the peak value in the ionization signal at which an almost stoichiometric combustion takes place. Then through Readjust the air supply line or the control signal for the gas valve the gas-air ratio to a certain deviation from the stoichiometric combustion set. Also in this Document described the possibility after determining the Setting as described above, the burner to another Adjust performance by resetting the air and Gas supply is read or calculated from a table, for example by a proportional method.
It is disadvantageous that harmful components are regularly expelled because the burner is activated every time the controller Adjustment process goes through while determining the peak value of the ionization signal temporarily at a non-optimal gas-air ratio burning. Secondly, the disadvantage is that the scheme is inaccurate because the selected burner setting from detected peak value of the ionization signal as a function of the gas-air ratio is dependent. This peak of the However, the ionization signal is very gradual due to the gradual course flat and therefore cannot be determined exactly.
The object of the invention is to provide a combustion device which can be adapted to the circumstances of use in a cost-effective manner. These and other tasks are solved in that the combustion device is characterized in that the control device is set up to set the flow opening of the throttle device on the basis of a change in the flow opening of the throttle device caused by the control device and a resultant change in an ionization signal generated by the ionization measuring device , The universal applicability of the combustion device is advantageous since it can be optimally adjusted to different compositions of the gas. Another advantage is the logistical simplicity and the consequently smaller stocks, since a single version of the combustion device can be used in all countries and regions. It is also advantageous that the combustion device is less susceptible to malfunction, since the burner is always set essentially optimal.
It is also advantageous that an increased emission of polluting gases is avoided by an incorrect setting, since errors during installation, for example by choosing the wrong gas injection nozzle, are excluded. Another advantage is that this means less work for the installer, since no checks or adjustments on the part of the installer are required.
In a preferred embodiment, the control device is for this set up a first value of the ionization signal at a first adjustment of the adjustable flow opening of the Throttle device to measure and a second value of Ionization signal at a second, different from the first distinctive setting of the flow opening of the Throttle device to measure, as well as the flow opening of the throttle due to the relative change in the second measured value of the Ionization signal compared to the first measured value of the Adjust ionization signal. A major advantage is that the setting of the incinerator insensitive against aging, pollution or positional tolerances of the Ionization sensor is. A measurement of ionization in a flame by means of an ionization sensor is sensitive to Soiling of the sensor and is caused by the burner delivered performance and other sources of error, such as aging or Curving the sensor, depending. However, by taking two measurements with different setting of the flow opening Throttle device executes and the flow opening of the Throttle device due to the relative change in Sets ionization signal, one eliminates said Sources of error. This means that with the measurement of the Ionization signal eliminates related inaccuracies be that calibrations like those in known gas determination systems are to be carried out regularly, and that the measurement of the Ionization signal and the setting of the combustion device are load independent and therefore over the entire range of Brenners can be carried out.
In a preferred embodiment, the control device is for this set up the relative change of the second measured Ionization signal compared to the first measured ionization signal with one or more previously determined values. The means that the relative change in the ionization signal in through these previously defined values are divided into areas. Through these areas, groups of possible Defined gas compositions, whereby the control device for each area one or more choices for hiring the flow opening of the throttle device are offered. This offers the advantage of enabling simple control.
In preferred embodiments, the control device is for this set up the flow opening of the throttle device in essential once when starting up the Adjust combustion device, wherein the control device is preferably set up within the ionization signal to measure a certain time after the flame is ignited, whereby the control device is preferably set up to the Readjust the flow opening of the throttle device when the The value of the ionization signal is not within a certain range matches a previously measured value. Advantageous here is that the combustion device adapts completely autonomously since the combustion device the first time the desired throttling itself. It is also advantageous that Even after long-term use, the emission of toxic Combustion gases due to an incorrect setting, for example due to a gas composition that varies over time because the combustor prefers itself regularly checked and preferably readjusted, if this check reveals that the measured Ionization signal deviates too much from a previously measured value.
Although the throttle device is a continuously variable Can have flow opening, the throttle device is in a preferred embodiment from a finite number of and chokes that can be switched off, preferably one or more and turnable chokes different areas of the Flow opening and thus a different throttle value have or at least two throttles on and off one same area of the flow opening and thus the same Have throttle value. It is advantageous that the adjustable Throttle device thereby by switching on and off a number of Throttles with the same or different flow opening is easy to implement.

In further preferred embodiments, at least two of the throttles are connected in parallel, the throttle is connected to a gas feed means or air feed means by means of a distributor, and there is a switching means which connects the throttle to the throttle by opening and closing a passage of the gas feed means or air feed means. and switches off, wherein the switching means preferably includes a pneumatic piston or a solenoid valve. It is advantageous here that the adjustable throttle device can be manufactured in a simple, inexpensive and reliable manner, since use is made of proven means for guiding a gas flow.
The invention further includes a method for controlling a combustion device for burning a gas-air mixture, characterized by measuring a first ionization signal at a first setting of a throttle device with an adjustable flow opening that is incorporated into the gas supply line or into the air supply line, and measuring a second ionization signal in the case of a second setting of the throttle device which differs from the first, and the setting of the flow opening of the throttle device on the basis of the relative change in the second measured ionization signal compared to the first measured ionization signal. One advantage of this is that the gas-air ratio setting is correct; because it is matched to the local gas composition measured via the ionization signal. A second advantage is the accuracy of the setting, as it does not depend on the aging, contamination or positional tolerances of the ionization sensor.
Figure 1 shows a combustion device with a burner 1 and
an
gespeichert. When the combustion device is started up, the
Control device 3, the
By comparing the relative change in the ionization signal with

Figur 2 zeigt eine andere Ausführungsform der Drosselvorrichtung 15
mit einer einstellbaren Durchflußöffnung. In dieser Ausführungsform
sind gesonderte Drosseln 10, 11, 12 mit einem Zylinder 20 verbunden,
in den ein beweglicher Kolben 21 aufgenommen ist. Durch
Hineinschieben bzw.
die Steuervorrichtung 3 hinein- oder hinausgeschoben werden.FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the
In addition to the examples described above are also Alternative embodiments are possible in which the throttle device not in the gas supply line, but in an air supply duct is arranged, which for adjusting the gas-air ratio of the gas mixture fed to the burner is not the gas supply, but the air supply is adjusted. In further alternative embodiments can adjust the flow opening of the throttle device be that the desired setting depending on the region in a Table saved and the control device during assembly the Region is communicated, or by the control device desired setting or the gas composition offered via a possibly wireless network connection, for example a Internet connection or a wireless telephone connection becomes.
