Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for cleaning Extractor hoods, with a rotating one spraying device in the interior of the extractor hoods Cleaning water is sprayed and the cleaning water withdrawn from a sump on the floor of the interior becomes. The invention also relates to a device to carry out the method, with one in the interior an extractor hood arranged rotatable Spray device and with one on the floor of the interior the extractor hood arranged sump for Cleaning water.
Derartige Dunstabzugshauben dienen dazu, den in Küchen entstehenden Dunst abzuziehen.Such extractor hoods are used in kitchens deduct the resulting haze.
Especially when used in canteen kitchens and similar Facilities, there is a significant amount of condensate, which are collected and discharged as far as possible got to.
For this purpose it is known at the air inlet in the Extractor hood to arrange a baffle in which the incoming air is deflected so strongly that the contained condensate droplets on walls of the Impact separators bounce and be separated there. To this is the purpose of the impact separator, for example from several, alternately interlocking U-profile bars, each at a distance from each other are arranged to allow air to pass through.
At the lower end of the impact separator is usually a collecting trough arranged that the descending Condensate is collected and discharged.
They are constantly stored during operation Condensate droplets from the incoming exhaust air on the impact separator so that it is cleaned at intervals must become. For example, it is from the Publication DE 34 16 692 A1 discloses that Spray nozzles in the interior of the extractor hood at a distance to the impact separator are arranged so that from these Spray nozzles sprayed cleaning liquid Impact separator wets and cleans.
In a method of the type mentioned at the beginning (EP 0 703 414 A1) sprays a rotating spray device in an extractor hood cleaning water that from a Collective sump is pulled off at the bottom of the interior. The rotatable spray device is mounted so that in essential only the separators of the Extractor hood through the sprayed Cleaning liquid to be cleaned.
Despite the use of such impact separators, but especially without using a Impact separator, it is inevitable that part of the Condensate enters the extractor hood and turns on the walls of the interior and possibly on the Precipitates the rear of the impact separator. thats why it is necessary to set the extractor hood in predetermined Clean intervals. This cleaning is very labor-intensive because they are carried out by hand must and because the interior of the extractor hood is heavy is accessible. If available, it must be with a frame provided impact separators are removed and rinsed.
The object of the invention is a method of the beginning to create the genus with which an essential Simplify and facilitate the cleaning process of the entire interior of an extractor hood becomes.
This object is achieved in that the entire interior of the extractor hood at intervals by means of the rotatable spray device essentially is completely sprayed with cleaning water.
This is an effective and thorough cleaning of the entire interior of the extractor hood in one automatable work process possible without manual work. The cleaning process can thus be proportionate short intervals. Thereby not only does the possible decrease Odor nuisance, but especially that Fire risk essential.
The additional construction effort required is very low, so that even with existing extractor hoods retrofitting possible and economical is justifiable.
For cleaning extractor hoods that keep you out interlocking profile bars Impact separator is provided that the back wall the impact separator is sprayed with cleaning water.
An inventive device for performing the This is a procedure with an extractor hood characterized that the spray device for Cleaning water as a spray lance with several, in Distributed lengthways and circumferentially Spray nozzles is designed to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis stored and connected to a rotary drive.
The spray lance is preferably essentially parallel and at a distance from the rear of an impact separator arranged. This is done in a constructively simple manner a spraying device that realizes the whole Interior of the extractor hood sprayed, the of the spray jets exerted on the spray head Reactive forces at the same time to drive the spray head serve. The need for a separate rotary drive for the spray head. In addition, only one very small number of spray nozzles required.
