Je kleiner der Durchmesser D1, um so grösser ist die Drehgeschwindigkeit der Zahnscheibe 24 und entsprechend ist die Drehgeschwindigkeit des Antriebsrades 26 bzw. die Taktzahl. Aufgrund des berechneten aktuellen Durchmessers D1 wird der Antrieb A2 geregelt. Dies erfolgt vorzugsweise über eine Regelung an der Kupplung 30. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Wickels aus Druckprodukten (3) unter Verwendung eines Wikkelkerns (1) und mindestens einem daran mit einem Ende befestigten Wickelband (18), wobei die Druckprodukte (3) mit dem Wickelband (18) auf den Wickelkern (1) schuppenstromförmig aufgewickelt werden und das Wickelband (18) eine Spirale bildet, mit einem von einem ersten Antrieb (A1) angetriebenen Wickelteppich (7), der unterseitig des Wickelkerns(1) angeordnet und zum Drehen des Wickelkerns (1) an diesen angelegt wird und mit einem von einem zweiten Antrieb (A2) angetriebenen Wickelbandmagazin (21), von dem das Wickelband (18) unter Aufrechterhaltung einer vorbestimmten Bandspannung abgewickelt wird, wobei beim Wickeln die Bandspannung mittels einer Bandzugregelung möglichst konstant gehalten wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste und der zweite Antrieb (A1, A2) jeweils mit einer Drehzahl- bzw.
