    5. A self-inking hand stamp according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the adapter (12) is provided with a guide (29) in which the insert (11) provided with the further stamp characters (9) is inserted.
    6. A self-inking hand stamp according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the further stamp characters (9) provided on the insert (11) are provided on at least one loop-shaped band (10) which is displaceable in peripheral direction.
    7. A self-inking hand stamp according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that an ajdustment device is inserted between the adapter (12) and the insert (11) by means of which the level (30) of the printing side (31) of the stamp characters (9) provided on the insert (11) is adjustable relative to the plane (32) of the supporting plate (5).
    8. A self-inking hand stamp according to claim 7, characterized in that the adjustment device is formed by adjustment screws (33) capable of being screwed into the adapter (12) and each being in connection with the insert (11) by means of a head (34) or collar or groove.
    9. A self-inking hand stamp according to claim 8, characterized in that the adapter (12) comprises guiding sleeves (35) into which the adjustment screws (33) can be screwed.
    10. A self-inking hand stamp according to claim 8, characterized in that holding clamps (36) are arranged on the insert (11) in which the adjustment screws (33) are rotatable and retained against axial displacement.
    11. A self-inking hand stamp according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that, on the rear side (13) of the supporting plate (5), positioning elements (37) are provided which guide the adapter (12) when it is placed onto the rear side (13) of the supporting plate (5) and secure it against lateral displacement.
    12. A self-inking hand stamp according to claim 11, characterized in that pins (37) are provided on the rear side (13) of the supporting plate (5) as positioning elements which engage in apertures (3, 8) provided on the adapter (12) corresponding to these pins (37).
    13. A self-inking hand stamp according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the turning mechanism includes turning indentations (23) on the inner side of the side walls (19) of the stamp casing (2) which include the guiding slots (18), next to these guiding slots (18), and turning pins (21) on the rims of the supporting plate (5) facing these side walls (19), the turning pins (21), upon initiation of the pivoting movement by auxiliary abutments (24) on the supporting plate (5) and on the said side walls (19), getting into engagement with the turning indentations (23) in the course of the upward movements and downward movements of the stamp unit (4) and completing the pivoting movement of the stamp unit (4).
