  • the entire microcontroller with its sensor portion may be arranged inside the ramp 1 in close proximity to the valves 2.
  • the fountain solution pipe 3, the voltage supply 6, and the communication receiver 7 extend into the ramp 1.
  • the current to the solenoid may for example be measured over a resistor and fed back to the microcontroller 5. If this measured profile differs too much from a preset profile window, it may be taken as an indication of a malfunction.
  • the current profile may be used for diagnosing the function of each valve, so that measures may be taken in time to prevent undesired stops. Alternatively, individual corrections of the current may be made for restoring the function of a valve. Also, an alarm may be triggered at a current profile falling outside given limits. In other words, the working cycle for a valve may be analysed.

Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zum Steuern des Sprühens von Wischwasser in einer Druckmaschine mittels elektrisch gesteuerter Sprühventile. (2) in einem Sprühstock (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß physikalische Eigenschaften des zu den Ventilen (2) zugeführten Wischwassers erfaßt und einem Computer (5) zugeführt werden, welcher einzelne Ausgangsleitungen (4) zu den Ventilen und einen Kommunikationsempfänger (7) mit einer Ein/Aus-Information aufweist, so daß ein integriertes Sprühverfahren erzeugt wird.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Temperatur, der Druck und die Durchflußmenge des Wischwassers erfaßt werden.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Stromprofil von dem Elektromagneten jedes Ventils (2) zum Computer (5) zurückgeführt wird, um einen Hinweis auf die Funktionsfähigkeit des Ventils zu schaffen.
  4. Vorrichtung zum Steuern des Sprühens von Wischwasser in einer Druckmaschine mittels elektrisch gesteuerter Sprühventile (2) in einem Sprühstock (1), gekennzeichnet durch einen Computer (5) mit einzelnen Ausgangsleitungen (4) zu den Ventilen (2) und einem Kommunikationsempfänger (7) mit einer Ein/Aus-Information und durch Mittel (5', 8, 9, 10) zum Erfassen physikalischer Eigenschaften des Wischwassers, welches zu den Ventilen zugeführt wird, und zum Zuführen der erfaßten physikalischen Eigenschaften zum Computer.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittel ein Sensorabschnitt (5') ist, durch den das Wischwasser zugeführt wird und welcher mit Sensoren (8, 9, 10) für Temperatur, Druck und Durchflußmenge versehen ist.
  6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Sensorabschnitt (5') in Verbindung mit dem Computer (5) angeordnet ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Sensorabschnitt (5') in dem Sprühstock (1) angeordnet ist.
  8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sowohl der Computer (5) und der Sensorabschnitt (5') in dem Sprühstock (1) angeordnet sind.
