Abstract

In einer Maschine zur Herstellung einer mehrlagigen Faserstoffbahn, insbesondere einer Papier- oder Kartonbahn, bei der die durch einen jeweiligen Former gebildeten Lagen miteinander vergautscht werden, sind wenigstens zwei miteinander zu vergautschende, auf einer Seite jeweils einen geringeren Feinstoffgehalt aufweisende Lagen der betreffenden Gautschzone so zugeführt, daß sie mit ihren Seiten geringeren Feinstoffgehalts miteinander in Kontakt kommen. Dabei ist zumindest eine dieser beiden Lagen durch ein Gapformer erzeugt.
