Claims (16)

  1. A display counter, with at least one merchandise display shelf serving to keep merchandise ready for sale, the serving-side opening whereof is equipped with an operatable, plate-like closure, which via at least one part (20) located in the region of its longitudinal edges is engaged with at least one individually assigned stationary part-holder (11, 12), which is present in the region of an edge of the serving-side opening, whereby the closure is designed as a flap element (19) which, with the part (20) of the flap element (19) engaged with the stationary part-holder (11, 12), is offset by a predetermined amount with respect to the flap plane formed by the flap upper or flap lower side and the part (20) is a flap portion (21) arranged at a predetermined angle to the flap plane,
    characterised in that
    the flap portion (21) and the flap element (19) are designed as one piece.
  2. The display counter according to claim 1,
    characterised in that the flap portion (21) is arranged at approximately 45° to the flap plane.
  3. The display counter according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that each part-holder (11, 12) assigned to the part (20) is a recess, which is located in the region of the edge (2) that borders on the serving-side opening at the bottom.
  4. The display counter according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the lower free edge (23) of a first longitudinal edge of the flap element (19), or more precisely of the flap portion (21) forming the part (20), is accommodated vertically in the recess forming a part-holder (11).
  5. The display counter according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the flap element (19) has, in the region of the upper free edge (123) of a second longitudinal edge, at least one stop (25) with which, in a flap position closing the merchandise display shelf, it lies adjacent to an individually assigned stationary supporting part (16), which is located in the region of the edge (1) that borders on the serving-side opening at the top.

  8. The display counter according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the edges (1, 2) of the serving-sided opening are bounded by profiles (7, 8).
  9. The display counter according to claim 8,
    characterised in that each profile (7, 8) is placed near the serving-side edge (3, 4) of a display shelf bottom of a merchandise display shelf, and has the part-holder (11, 12) at a first profile face (9, 10), which extends in a plane running approximately parallel to the display shelf bottom, and supporting parts (15, 16) at an opposite second profile face (13, 14).
  10. The display counter according to claim 9,
    characterised in that a part-holder (11, 12) is a longitudinal groove recessed into the corresponding profile face.

    characterised in that the longitudinal groove is a groove with an undercut configuration.
  12. The display counter according to any one of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that each supporting part (15, 16) is designed as a longitudinal strip (17, 18) projecting from the respective profile face (13, 14).
  13. The display counter according to any one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that stop (25) of the flap element (19), which can be brought into active connection with the supporting part (15, 16), is a second flap portion (24) located in the region of its longitudinal edge (23) having the upper free edge (123).
  14. The display counter according to claim 13,
    characterised in that the second flap portion (24) forming the stop (25) is arranged at a predetermined angle to the flap plane.
  15. The display counter according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the flap portions (21, 24) assigned to the first and the second longitudinal edge are bent off at the same side of the flap element (19).
  16. The display counter according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the region of the profile faces (9, 10) provided with the part-holder (11, 12), said region being located at the side of the profile (7, 8) facing away from the merchandise display shelf, is designed as a fixed seating shoulder (26) for the flap element (19, 19') folded into the open position.
