  5. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the connecting cable (5) is only wound on the drum or the roller (6) in a single thickness, optionally being directed during winding, and optionally during unwinding, by a movable or pivoting guide.
  6. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the winding drum or roller (6) is connected to a motorised driving means (11) by a second free wheel transmission (12), only establishing a driving connection with said drum or roller (6) in the winding direction of the connecting cable (5).
  7. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the hydraulic braking means (8) comprises a plurality of rotating hydraulic dampers (8'), such as turbines immersed in an oil bath, for example, that are driven in rotation simultaneously by the first free wheel transmission (9), coupled in rotational driving to said drum or roller (6) during the unwinding of said connecting cable (5).
  8. Device according to claim 6 and any one of claims 1 to 5 and 7, characterised in that the fixed support frame (7) comprises a portal, between the uprights of which the support cable (3) passes, the drum or roller (6), the hydraulic braking means (8) and the motorised driving means (11) for rewinding being assembled on the upper horizontal portion (7') of said portal (7).
  9. Gravity-induced transportation device, comprising at least one carriage running on a cable, between a departure station and an arrival station located at different altitudes, characterised in that the arrival station is provided with a braking device (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, alone or in association with another braking or pre-braking device located upstream.
