  1. The grate plate according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the slit openings forming the group of longer slit openings (3) respectively have an opening length L1 and the slit openings forming the group of shorter slit openings (4) respectively have an opening length L2, wherein the opening lengths L1 and L2 are respectively related to the upper side of the grate plate (1) and wherein the sum of L1 and L2 is greater than 65% of the dimension L3 of the grate plate (1) in its direction of motion.
  5. The grate plate according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the edges of the slit openings (3, 4) are constructed as sharp-edged.
