- the electrical power recently collected by the bowl 15 is now read into the computer 28 and compared by the computer 28 with the electrical power previously collected by the bowl 15. If a difference occurs that requires further pivoting of the bowl 15, the computer 28 calculates which of the two drives 19, 20 must be switched on so that the bowl 15 is pivoted in a direction in which the bowl 15 collects a larger part of the energy emitted by the transmitter 6 than before. By appropriately comparing the energy collected by the bowl 15 and the energy emitted by the transmitter 6, the antenna 13 is finally enabled to collect an optimal portion of the energy emitted by the transmitter 6.
- the compass can 49 establish new course via the switch 41 in the Computer 28 can be entered. This then controls the new one Course corresponding to the bowl 15 via the two drives 19, 20. Should also turn out to be independent a manual intervention from the control via the computer 28 necessary in the respective orientation of the bowl 15 is, with the help of the control switch 42, the drive 19 be turned on to the bowl in a vertical plane 15 to pivot. With the control switch 43, the drive 20 are switched to the bowl 15 in horizontal Align plane with respect to satellite 4.
- a further control of the antenna 13 is possible in that this with respect to an alignment with a satellite 5 in Direction on a satellite 4 pivoted through an angle 12 shall be.
- the computer 28 the direction of the rays 9 can be entered, insofar as these Direction from a previous swiveling operation of the bowl 15 is not yet saved.
- the direction of the Beams 8 entered into the computer 28 specifying the angle 12 be, so that the drives 19, 20 accordingly the desired location of the satellite 4 controls.
- More like that Way can also be done when looking for a selected satellite 4, the satellite 5 of the antenna 13 is driven. In this case it turns out a change of direction with respect to the satellite 5 with the target a control of the satellite 4 can be carried out as faster as a new lookout of the satellite 4 due to that of this known orbit coordinates.
- the computer 28 is programmed in such a way that it is not desired satellites 5 when searching for the selected satellite 4 is only activated once. On this way it may be accessed several times serving as reference satellite 5 avoided. This multiple activation could possibly be considered come when the power of the transmitter 7 the power of the transmitter 6, which is provided in the selected satellite 4, considerably is superior. In this case, a search for the satellite 4 are considerably more difficult that several times one after the other the satellite 5 is located and based on its position, the orbit position of the selected one Satellite 4 is calculated without an actual Approach to this satellite 4 takes place.
- the effectiveness of the antenna 13 can also contribute to that one in the direction of the rays 8 in front of the bowl 15th arranged polar rotor 56 is subjected to control.
- This polar rotor 56 performs rotational movements in front of the bowl 15 out. It is driven by a drive 57.
- Each after the incident electromagnetic rays 8 the polar rotor 56 has an inclination with respect to the rays 8.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for controlling a selected one Satellites from a given by geographic Coordinates known location with an antenna, each swiveling in a horizontal and vertical plane is stored.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a control unit for Aligning a swiveling antenna on an electromagnetic table Radiation source from a satellite.
Antennas for the reception of electromagnetic radiation Transmitter, the part of one at a specific point in orbit standing satellites are becoming increasingly important. On the one hand can receive signals with the help of such an antenna be emitted by the satellite's transmitter and monitoring from far away on the earth's surface events that take place serve, for example, traffic situations. On the other hand, with such antennas also receive television programs broadcast by the broadcaster. Swiveling Antennas can be aligned with the transmitter be that they are an optimum of those emitted by the transmitter Receive energy. A controller must be provided for this be able to transmit control signals to drives which are able to deliver the antenna in one horizontal and a vertical plane, and on the other hand to generate these signals yourself.
Difficulties in generating these signals arose in particular in that the antenna enables itself had to be broadcast by a particular station Find signals and then put them in a position in which the reception of the radiated energy is guaranteed is.
The object of the present invention is therefore the method to improve the type mentioned so that the antenna aligns itself with the broadcaster.
This object is achieved in that the antenna into a known location of the satellite theoretical reception direction is controlled, which in electrical energy received in this direction of reception with a known optimal possible from the selected satellite Satellite energy is compared and the antenna in the case of one Deviation of the received electrical energy from the optimal possible satellite energy of the selected satellite towards receiving increasing electrical energy is pivoted.
With this procedure it is possible to find a specific station Satellite for setting up the antenna in an optimal Use receiving position. For this purpose first the known location of the satellite in a computer unit entered. In addition, the respective Location of the antenna with its terrestrial coordinates Calculation used. Calculated from these two dates the calculator a direction in which theoretically an optimal one Energy incidence of the transmitter installed in the satellite can be expected is. According to this calculated direction, the Antenna in both horizontal and vertical directions panned. Then, by comparing the to the Antenna incident energy with the expected from the transmitter optimal energy a statement can be made whether the antenna is optimally aligned with the transmitter. If an optimal alignment has not yet been achieved, do so is the measure of the deviation from the optimal energy at the same time a measure of in which direction and to what extent the antenna must be pivoted until it is in the position is offset to the expected optimal energy receive.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the theoretical reception direction of the antenna from one for the selected satellites known orbit position and information calculated from the geographic coordinates of the location. In view of the largely linear course of those emitted by the transmitter In this way, blasting can align the Antenna take place, the optimal reception conditions largely corresponds. To set up the antenna accurately To be able to bring about, is a comparison over that of the transmitter currently radiated energy made by this each it is checked whether the received energy increases or decreases.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention a window is given to the antenna to find the satellite, in the excerpt the location of the satellite is searched becomes. Should search within this window for If the satellite is unsuccessful, the antenna turns on predefined second window, that compared to the originally selected has an enlarged section. In this way is used by reducing or enlarging the respectively used Window a statement about the scope in which the search for the desired station got to.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention the identity of a found satellite is checked, the Coordinates of the found with those of the selected Satellites are compared and resulting from this comparison Differential data is determined and the antenna is adjusted accordingly this difference data towards the selected one Satellite controlled. In this way, too Satellites integrated into the search system that are not selected have been. These unselected satellites and their The location to the desired selected satellite will be the based on a further search for the desired satellite.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention a difference of one found is used as difference data from a selected satellite in terms of their directions and an angle between these directions is calculated. These two dates, the direction on the one hand and the on the other hand, there are angles between the directions the standards by which the antenna is heading towards the selected satellite must be aligned.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention is already searching for the selected satellite once the satellite has been found, it is not controlled again. By excluding that which has already been found Satellite when searching for the selected satellite will avoid searching for the selected satellite only in the area of a certain one that has already been found Satellite moves, which may be a special one has high energy radiation from its transmitter. Without that Excluding this satellite would be another search for the selected satellite, which may have low energy emissions of his transmitter, almost impossible, definitely very difficult.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention is the direction of an antenna after an already found and satellites recognized in its direction calibrated. In this way, the antenna becomes a benchmark found after which this antenna also with respect to the selected one Satellite can be set.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention is in the case of an antenna provided with a polar rotor Polarization rotation optimized via a control line. On this can also be done by appropriate alignment of the Polarotors and the speed to be maintained by him an optimization be made on the received and radiated Energy of the antenna is measured.
The antenna is expediently set up with Help a control unit to align a pivotable Antenna on an electromagnetic radiation source Satellites.
Such control units should be set up as compactly as possible and be easy to use.
This object is achieved in that it with a first input for entering a terrestrial Signals and a second input to the location Entry of a respective orbit location of the radiation source appropriate signals is provided and the two Inputs with a comparing the respective signals with each other Comparison unit are linked, the outputs with Drives for pivoting the antenna are connected. A such control unit can be easily with input devices connected, which are suitable, on the one hand, information to deliver via the respective terrestrial location and on the other hand the known orbit location of the selected satellite specify. These two dates are then inside the control unit is linked to one another by a computer, that the control unit signals via its outputs which drives the antenna. These signals control the Antenna in a position in which it is the radiated from the transmitter Can receive energy.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention the inputs are provided in a housing, the dimensions of which correspond to those of a housing in which usually a device for controlling a ship's course after the Radio navigator system is housed. With this housing dimension the control unit adapts to that usually on board of ships used housing shapes, so that these can be combined well. Because the control unit is preferred is used on board ships by the Housing dimensioning the use of this control unit essential relieved.

The ship 1 can change course or in heavy seas
that produced by the
The
Among other things, there is a computer within the
In one of the
Senders 6 entspricht.To align the
aufgefangene elektrischen Leistung verglichen. Sollte dabei
vom Sender 6 ausgestrahlten Energie aufzufangen. However, should the movement of the
in der Anzeige 45.You can use
Should the ship 1 change course, the compass can
49 establish new course via the
In ähnlicher
bekannten Orbitkoordinaten.A further control of the
So far a definition of orbit positions of
Annäherung an diesen Satelliten 4 stattfindet. The
When searching for the satellite 4

Je
nach den einfallenden elektromagnetischen Strahlen 8 besitzt
der Polarotor 56 eine Neigung gegenüber den Strahlen 8.In addition, the effectiveness of the
To intensify the
