zeigt die Transportstellung des Umschlaggerätes. Dazu ist der Ausleger in seine
steilste Stellung verschwenkt und die verschiebbare Abstützung 5 ist in ihre
Transportposition eingefahren. Das Schienenfahrwerk 21 ist durch Einfahren des
Hydraulikzylinders 20 hochgehoben und hat keinen Kontakt mehr zur Schiene 22. Der
Schwerpunkt des Umschlaggerätes 1 liegt jetzt im Bereich der Gerätemittelachse. Das
Lastaufnahmemittel 11 ist im Bereich der Abstützung 5 fixiert. Das so vorbereitete
Umschlaggerät 1 kann nun auf den gummibereiften Fahrwerken 18,19 am Kai 2 zu

Claims (13)
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus for loading and unloading ships in port installations, in particular for the combined handling of containers and bulk material, comprising a tower of a wharf crane having an articulated derricking jib and having replaceable load lifting members, characterised in that the tower (6) of the wharf crane is fixedly connected to a gantry-like lower carriage (4) which can be freely moved on preferably four controllable travelling mechanisms (18, 19) which are disposed on the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2), and in that for supporting the cargo-handling apparatus (1) on the side facing the load carrier supports (5.1) which can be extended vertically are provided on the lower carriage (4), which carrier supports support vertical supporting columns (5.2) on their free ends and rail or crawler travelling mechanisms (21) which can be lifted and lowered are disposed on the supporting columns.

- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 3, characterised in that a pre-stressed, pressure-operated, spring-loaded element (25) is provided between the foot of the jib (7) and tower (6).
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 4, characterised in that the lower carriage (4) is formed as a box girder which serves as a basis for the drive unit (30), the pneumatic jacks (9.1, 9.2), the luffing mechanism (13) and the electrical supply (29) as well as the fuel tanks (31).
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 5, characterised in that the cargo-handling apparatus (1) is controlled so as to be able to move in the quay (2) or ship longitudinal direction by means of a navigation system.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 5, characterised in that the supporting columns (5.2) can be horizontally displaced to a water-side rail (22) by means of the carrier supports (5.1) while being monitored by sensors and electronically controlled.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 5 characterised in that the cargo-handling apparatus (4) is controlled so as to be able to move in the quay (2) or ship longitudinal direction by means of a water-side rail (22), into which the rail travelling mechanisms (21) of the supporting columns (5.2) can be lowered.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 8, characterised in that the travelling mechanisms (18, 19 or 21) provided on the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2) and/or on the supporting columns (5.2) are electronically controlled in a synchronous manner.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 9, characterised in that the lower carriage (4) of the cargo-handling apparatus (1) as well as the supporting columns (5.2) are dimensioned in such a manner that free spaces for paths of travel are left between the extended supporting columns (5.2) and the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2) and beneath the lower carriage (4) and the clearance between the supporting columns (5.2) and the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2) corresponds to the height of container transport vehicles and devices.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 10, characterised in that in order to transport the cargo-handling apparatus (1) when the jib (7) is swung up, the travelling mechanisms (21) disposed on the supporting columns (5.2) are lifted up from the ground or from the rail (22) and the carrier supports (5.1) are horizontally retracted so that the supporting columns (5.2) are positioned in proximity to the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2) and the centre of gravity of the cargo-handling apparatus (1) is located on the centre axis of the apparatus.
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 1 to 11, characterised in that in order to handle bulk material the cargo-handling apparatus (1) can be fitted with a shortened jib (45) and tower (44) as well as a gripper (46).
- Mobile cargo-handling apparatus as claimed in Claim 12, characterised in that the clearance of the cargo-handling apparatus (1) between the supporting columns (43.2) and the gantry supports (4.1, 4.2) is chosen in such a manner so as to allow sufficient space for a hopper (48).
