Description

The invention relates to a device for controlling a continuously operating stack lifting device a sheet-processing machine, in which the stack lifting device an adjustable Has drive, which by the height of the top of the sheet stack Device can be influenced, the drive of the stack lifting device using an electrical one Servo motor having gear ratio adjustment.

Such stack lifting devices consist of a stack lifting table carrying a sheet stack, which can be driven and raised by an electric motor. Each of the sheet stacks the uppermost sheet in time with a subordinate sheet processing machine and this fed. The height level of the top of the stack is detected by one device and both a corresponding signal from a control unit when an upper and lower level is reached supplied, by which the electric motor is switched on or off.

From DE 44 10 384 C1 it is known to switch the stack lifting table after switching on the stacking device until an upper level signal is triggered and hold in this position. To The triggering of the upper level signal shows the number of sheets from the stack removed sheet until the lower level signal is triggered and a corresponding one Signal sent to the control unit After the lower level signal has been triggered, the an electric gear factor adjustment electric motor of the stack lifting table raised again until the upper level signal is triggered a second time. Then from the control unit the difference in height between the upper and lower levels and the number of sheets counted the bow thickness and a stroke speed determined from the bow thickness and the cycle time as a control variable for the electric motor after the second triggering of the upper level signal serves at least approximately continuous drive. This control is complex and complicated and has the disadvantage that in order to determine a continuously tracking the stacking lifting table Speed u. a. the sheet thickness is used, which due to the fact that arches of the same thickness have different properties that a metrological Falsify detection, it leads to incorrect measurements and thus to the realization of an incorrect lifting speed can come. It is also disadvantageous that only one at a time by this control Lifting speed can be determined for a specific processing speed, so that with every deviation from this processing speed, a new one, a continuous one Tracking of the stack lifting table securing speed must be determined. So that is ultimately a continuous tracking of the stacking lifting table and thus continuous operation of the electric motor only possible in exceptional cases.

The object of the invention is to provide a generic stack lifting device with a simple, continuous lifting speed that is adapted to the respective conditions of the stacking lift table can be realized.

According to the invention the object is solved by the claims.

The solution according to the invention makes it possible to implement a solution that can be implemented using simple means to provide a continuously operating stacking device that enables one of the stacking speed depending on the respective height levels of the top of the sheet stack to realize.

The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment. In the accompanying drawing, a device designed as a sheet feeder 1 for separating and conveying sheets 6 is shown. The sheet feeder 1 is followed by a belt table 3 having conveyor belts 2. The conveyor belts 2 are driven by a belt roller 4, with which a clock roller 5 corresponds, which is controlled against the belt roller 4 in the machine cycle.
A stack lifting table 8 is arranged in the sheet feeder 1 and is guided by lifting chains 9. The lifting chains 9 are connected to an electric motor 10 via chain wheels (not shown). The stacking lifting table 8 is raised or lowered by the electric motor 10. A sheet stack 7 consisting of the sheets 6 is arranged on the stack lifting table 8. Above the sheet stack 7 there is a suction head 11 connected to the sheet feeder 1 for separating and conveying the sheets 6. For this purpose, the suction head 11 has separating suction devices 12 which capture the uppermost sheet 6 of the sheet stack 7, separate them from the sheet stack 7 and transfer them to transport suction devices 13 which are also provided in the suction head 11 and which transport the sheets 6 in the conveying direction 14 until the front in the conveying direction 14 lying part of the sheet 6 each of the active pairing of the clock roller 5 / belt roller 4 and is transported through this or the downstream belt table 3 to a sheet-processing machine. Furthermore, a device 15 is provided in the sheet feeder 1 which detects the height of the upper side of the sheet stack 7 and which, in the exemplary embodiment, is designed as a feeler foot 16 which is known per se and which is guided in cycles against the upper side of the sheet stack 7. The device 15 detects the height of the top of the sheet stack 7 in a range between an upper and a lower limit, with a zero position provided between these positions also being detected.
The control signals detected by the device 15 are fed to an evaluation / control unit 17. The control signals generated by the evaluation / control unit 17, which are fed to the controller 18 of an electric motor 10 designed as a servo motor 19, influence the gear factor of the servo motor 19 in such a way that it is gradually increased or decreased. In the case of a large gear factor, a higher speed of the servo motor 19 and thus a higher stacking stroke speed is realized, while the stacking speed is reduced when the gear factor is reduced, it being possible to change the gear factor in different increments.
The separation of the uppermost sheet 6 from the sheet stack 7 by the separating suction device 12 is usually carried out in a position in which the upper side of the sheet stack 7 is in a zero position, the sheet stack 7 being continuously tracked to the extent that the sheets 6 are conveyed away , If the stacking stroke speed is too high, ie the top of the sheet stack 7 is detected by the device 15 in the area between the zero position and an upper limit, the transmission / control unit 17 and the controller 18 reduce the gear ratio of the servo motor 19 in small steps, until the device 15 detects the top of the sheet stack 7 as being in the zero position. However, if the upper side of the sheet stack 7 is detected by the device 15 at the upper limit, the evaluation / control unit 17 and the controller 18 reduce the gear ratio of the servo motor in large steps until the upper side of the sheet stack 7 in the device 15 Zero position is detected. If the top of the sheet stack 7 drops below the zero position, so that it is detected by the device 15 as being in the area between the zero position and the lower limit, an increase in the gear ratio of the servo motor 19 and takes place via the evaluation / control unit 17 and the controller 18 thus the tracking speed of the sheet stack 7 in small steps until the surface of the sheet stack 7 is detected by the device 15 in the zero position. If the surface of the sheet stack 7 reaches the lower limit, the gear factor of the servo motor 19 is increased in large steps via the device 15, the evaluation / control unit 17 and the controller 18, and the tracking speed of the stacking lifting table 8 with the sheet stack 7 located thereon is also increased.
