Description

The invention relates to a wristwatch with a watch case and a bracelet, as well as with an at least partially surrounding the watch case Part in which the watch case is stored and on which the bracelet is attached.

Various measures are known with which wristwatches be protected against damage or malfunctions caused by vibrations. The most common of these measures is the clockwork to be stored in the watch case by means of elastic elements. For wristwatches this genus, where the shock-absorbing elements are inside of the watch case, the user has no way of existence to recognize these elements from the outside. Also with this type of wristwatches the watch case itself, together with its outer parts, in particular the watch glass, by the measures mentioned not against blows protected.

Wristwatches are also known in which the bracelet is not is attached directly to the watch case, but on one the watch case at least partially surrounding part. Such a wristwatch is in the Swiss patent specification CH 657 245. With this wristwatch there are elastic elements between the bracelet and the watch case. The task of these elastic elements is to replace them the bracelet without tools. The elastic Deformation of these elements is therefore limited to easy replacement the bracelet without tools and does not serve in any way protecting the wristwatch from knocks.

European patent application EP 0 294 320 relates to a wristwatch with a bracelet made especially of metal, the one Has opening in which the watch case is interchangeably received. The bracelet has an interchangeable fabric cover and it is the object of this invention that the user himself the watch without tools to replace the fabric cover on the bracelet and again can attach to it. This wristwatch is also about that The bracelet can be changed easily and without tools. A The watch case can be moved relative to the bracelet not provided.

The present invention has for its object the disadvantages to avoid the above-mentioned prior art and a wrist watch to propose not only the clockwork, but also the watch case with all of its outer parts is protected against impact and where the function of the shock-absorbing elements is visible from the outside and / or is noticeable.

This task is accomplished by a wristwatch of the type mentioned Kind solved in that between the watch case and the part at least a spring element is arranged such that the watch case opposite the part is movable against the force of the spring element.

The advantages of this wristwatch according to the invention are in particular to see that not only the clockwork, but also the watch case and all firmly connected parts such as one if necessary Existing bezel are protected against knocks that function the shock-absorbing elements are visible and / or noticeable from the outside and that for attaching the at least one spring element, no engagement in the Interior of the watch case is required.

Special embodiments of this wristwatch according to the invention are described in the dependent claims.

Figure 1 shows a schematic cross section through the edge region a wristwatch. The watch case 1 is at the top through a watch glass 2 and closed at the bottom by a housing base 3, the housing base is attached to the watch case by screws 4. Of course you can the housing base can also be designed as a normal screw base, as it is, for example is shown in Figures 2 and 3. On the top of the case a so-called bezel 5 is arranged, which the watch glass 2 in front Protects blows and has a decorative effect. Another function of Lunette can be that it has markings such as serve to remember a certain period of time. This is the bezel preferably rotatably connected to the watch case 1.

The part at least partially surrounding the watch case is in this embodiment is designed as a ring 6. The bracelet is well known Way attached to the ring 6 and not shown in the figure. The ring 6 surrounds the watch case so that between these two parts both radial as well as axial movements are possible. The movements of the watch case 1 opposite the ring 6 are in the radial direction through the game limited between these two parts. The movements of the watch case 1 relative to the ring 6 in the axial direction are limited in that the watch case protrudes radially above the clear width of the ring 6 above. On the underside of the watch case 1, the case base 3 protrudes radially the clear width of the ring and forms with the ring 6 with an intermediate layer an elastic disc 14, for example made of rubber, a stop. On first O-ring 10 is arranged between the watch case and ring so that it the watch case with respect to the ring up against the mentioned stop presses. A second O-ring 11 centers the watch case in the ring. The Both O-rings 10 and 11, as well as the disc 14, consist of a soft Material such as rubber, cellular rubber or a soft, if necessary foamed plastic. The O-rings 10 and 11 are dimensioned so that the watch case 1 and the ring 6 under the influence of blows cannot touch directly.

This arrangement allows the watch case 1, external forces, in particular to avoid blows by dealing with the Ring 6 moves. These movements can be directed radially and / or axially, So also include tilting movements caused by a one-sided on the watch case exerted force can be caused. Is the force mentioned no longer available, the watch case returns under the elastic effect the O-rings 10 and 11 back to the starting position shown in Figure 1. This elastic yield makes the risk more mechanical Damage caused by blows that affect the watch case reduced. On the other hand, there will be blows to the ring or bracelet, however vibrations of the user's arm only dampened on the watch case passed on, which accelerates the movement significantly be reduced.

In the embodiment shown in Figure 2, the watch case 1 no bezel, but protrudes radially above as in the example according to FIG. 1 beyond ring 6. The resilient elements here have the shape of a Spring ring 12 with a round cross section and a spring ring 13 with a rectangular one Cross-section. The spring ring 12 engages in an annular groove provided in the ring 6 and is supported on a projection provided on the watch case from. The spring ring 12 is not exactly circular, but has a polygon or waveform, so that the radial play between the Watch case 1 and the ring 6 is lifted and the watch case counter the spring force of the spring ring 12 is radially movable in the ring 6. The Spring washer 13, seen in the axial direction, has an annular shape but not flat, but wave-shaped, so that by the spring ring 13 canceled the axial play between the watch case 1 and the ring 6 and the watch case against the spring force of the spring ring 13 is axially movable in the ring 6.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the watch case is at least partially surrounding part formed as a shell 7, which consists of a Ring 8 and a bottom 9 is made. The spring elements are the same as in the design 1 formed by O-rings 10 and 11. In this embodiment there is no stop depicting the movement of the watch case capped. Of course, such a stop can, if necessary can be provided and this can, for example, as in the embodiment 2 be designed as a spring ring 12, which is in a in the ring 8th provided annular groove rests and an annular bead provided on the watch case engages behind.

In the embodiment according to Figure 4, the watch case 1 is similar trained as in the embodiment according to Figure 1. In particular also this watch case 1 has a case back 3 fastened with screws 4, which projects radially above the watch case 1. As spring elements here are the following Parts provided. An O-ring 11 springs, as in the embodiments Figures 1 and 3, the movements of the watch case in the radial direction from. A disk 15 which, like the disk 14 in FIG. 1, is made of a soft, rubber-elastic material is formed, forms a stop for the figure downward axial movements of the watch case. The opposite Axial movements are in this embodiment a spring element is added, which consists of a coil spring 16, the is acted upon by a pin 17. Such spring elements in a box are known under the name "Capofix". Several, for example three such spring elements can be distributed around the circumference of the ring 6 be inserted in holes provided for this purpose. Of course, the spring elements 16, 17 can also be installed so that the pin 17 is directed upwards and is on the edge of the watch case 1.
