Abstract

2.1 Eine bekannte Brennstoffpumpe weist ein obenliegendes Entlüftungsventil auf und fördert bei teilentleertem Tank nach Inbetriebnahme verzögert. 2.2 Hiergegen weist die neue Brennstoffpumpe die Merkmale auf, daß eine Ventilauslaßöffnung vorgesehen ist, die über eine Leitung nach unten geführt ist und dort in den Brennstofftank einmündet. 2.3 Die Pumpe fördert nach Inbetriebnahme ohne Verzögerung.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Brennstoffpumpe für Brennkraftmaschinen, die für einen Einsatz in einen Brennstofftank geeignet ist, wobei eine Förderung durch die Brennstoffpumpe hindurch von in Einbaulage geodätisch unten nach oben erfolgt und oben ein Entgasungsventil angeordnet ist, das bei abgestellter Pumpe geöffnet ist.
Eine derartige Brennstoffpumpe ist beispielsweise in der DE 196 18 452 A1 beschrieben.
Diese Brennstoffpumpe arbeitet bei gefülltem Brennstofftank zufriedenstellend, lediglich bei fast entleertem Tank, wenn der Brennstoffspiegel unterhalb der Ventilauslaßöffnung steht, tritt eine zeitlich verzögert einsetzende Förderung ein, die aus der über die Ventilauslaßöffnung bei abgestellter Pumpe erfolgte Entleerung des Pumpeninnenraums resultiert, d. h. die Pumpe muß nach Inbetriebnahme erst gefüllt werden. Hierdurch kann es zu Fehlstarts der Brennkraftmaschine kommen.
Hiervon ausgehend ist es daher Aufgabe der Erfindung, Maßnahmen aufzufinden, mit denen ein schneller Wiederstart der Brennkraftmaschine möglich wird.
Diese Aufgabe ist durch die im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs genannten Merkmale gelöst.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist nachfolgend beschrieben.
Elektrische Brennstoffpumpe für einen Einsatz in einem Brennstofftank, wobei in Einbaulage in einem Schingertopf oder auf dem Tankboden eine Förderung durch die Pumpe hindurch geodätisch von unten nach oben erfolgt und oben ein Entgasungsventil angeordnet ist, das bei abgestellter Pumpe geöffnet ist.
Erfindungsgemäß ist nun Ventilauslaßöffnung vorgesehen, die über eine Leitung nach unten geführt ist und dort in den Brennstofftank einmündet. Durch diese Maßnahmen wird eine Rückbelüftung des Pumpeninnenraums über die Ventilaustrittsöffnung verhindert, da nun die Leitung unterhalb des Brennstoffspiegels in den Brennstofftank einmündet, so daß der Brennstoff in dem so gebildeten Schwanenhals nicht abfließen kann.
Die Pumpe fördert nach Inbetriebnahme ohne Verzögerung.

Claims (1)

  1. Elektrische Brennstoffpumpe für einen Einsatz in einem Brennstofftank, wobei in Einbaulage in einem Schingertopf oder auf dem Tankboden eine Förderung durch die Pumpe hindurch geodätisch von unten nach oben erfolgt und oben ein Entgasungsventil angeordnet ist, das bei abgestellter Pumpe geöffnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Ventilauslaßöffnung vorgesehen ist, die über eine Leitung nach unten geführt ist und dort in den Brennstofftank einmündet.
