  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the connecting of the labels (3) with the walls of the containers (2) is carried out in that adhesive is applied to the inner side of each label (3) in a gluing station (35) ahead of the charging station (20).
  3. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that in running direction behind the charging station (20) a connection of label (3) with the container wall is carried out by local heat action through sealing/shrinking.
  4. Device for labelling the walls of filled containers (2) of thermoplastic synthetic material, comprising a collecting station (10) for closed labels (3), a transposing device for transposing the labels (3) in sets into cardboard carriers (3) with passages corresponding with the number of transposed labels (3), a transport device (12) for cyclic conducting of the cardboard carriers (15) to a charging station (20), a collecting station (12) for the containers (2) and a transposing device (28) for transposing the containers (2) from the collecting station (12) into the labels (33) held by the cardboard carriers (15).
  5. Device according to claim 4, characterised in that the transport device (12) consists of a circulating belt (13) with entrainers (14) for cyclic transport of the cardboard carriers (15).
  6. Device according to claim 4 or 5, characterised by a gluing station (35) upstream of the charging station (20).
  7. Device according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterised by a connecting station, which is arranged behind the charging station (20) in the direction of running, for the application of heat to the labels (3).
