Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an infusion bag, in particular for the preparation of Tea, with a chamber containing a quantity of substance, on its Head end and foot end each with a transverse heat seal is closed, with the two long sides of the chamber through Tube forming are formed by the two longitudinal edges of one heat-sealable material web, in particular filter paper web, towards the inside Folded in the longitudinal center and with each other through a central-longitudinal connection are connected, one on each long side inwards into the Chamber is provided extending folding. The invention also relates to a method for continuous production, filling and Sealing such single-chamber infusion bags, especially for tea.
In addition to double-chamber infusion bags are becoming more complicated because of them Manufacturing continues to use simple single-chamber tea bags that are used in the Usually consist of a rectangular filter paper strip that is folded in the middle and including a quantum of substances at the three initially open Sides is sealed especially by heat sealing. The disadvantage is these single-chamber infusion bags which are part of the manufacturing process folding process and the small chamber volume, which only a limited expansion possibility when the tea swells Provides so that the valuable tea is insufficient from the Dissolve the substance and transfer it to the surrounding tea water can. The small chamber volume also means that no leaf tea varieties as a substance quantum, only fine tunes, use, the quality of which is less than leaf tea.
To counter these disadvantages, is according to the German utility model 91 04 897 a tea bag has already been proposed from tubular material is made through at its lower end Folding or welding is closed and over the top initially open end is filled with tea, after which a special closure part is used to seal the top of the bag. With a such a tubular bag, the chamber volume is significantly increased compared to known tea bags, but on the other hand is a complex Manufacturing with multiple operations required a continuous Hinder manufacture. Above all, it is disadvantageous that the known Tubular bags have much larger dimensions than the usual single-chamber infusion bags has and in length approximately the inner height of a glass or the jug in which the bag is inserted.
It is also a single-chamber infusion bag of the type described above known, in which a hose formation is used and the connection the longitudinal edges of the heat-sealable material web by means of a medium-length heat seal is made. Due to the hose shape crease-free, seal-free or seamless long sides are created, in which simply made inward-extending folds can be, with which both a simple continuous producibility as a large chamber volume can also be achieved. The disadvantage, however, is that due to the central longitudinal heat seal to allow the leaching liquid to pass through available area of one chamber wall is significantly reduced becomes. Due to the relatively wide heat sealing surface, the liquid cannot pass through and it becomes a large part of what is in the chamber Quantities of substance thanks to the wide and flat heat seal strip covered. Immediate exposure to the liquid parts of the substance underneath are therefore not possible. These can only can be indirectly detected laterally by the penetrating liquid, so that the Insufficiently dissolved tea substances from the substance and into it Tea water can be transferred.
In view of this prior art, the invention is based on the object of increasing the passage area in order to improve the leaching and avoiding a wide heat-sealing strip on the chamber wall, although in principle the hose shaping should be retained because of its advantages.
The object is inventively achieved in that the central longitudinal link is a Rändelnaht, wherein the longitudinal edges of the web of material bent up in unequal lengths out of the plane of the bag surface parallel to each other, joined together by knurling and one or more stages folded back onto the bag surface are . The use of a knurled seam as a connection does not reduce the wall area of the bag available for liquid passage into the chamber, since the connection is linear and not strip-shaped on the wall surface. Practically the entire wall surface is available for the passage of liquids and thus for triggering the tea. There is no covering of substances in the chamber.
Preferably, they are in the knurled seam from the plane of the bag surface parallel longitudinal edges of unequal length Improved knurling effect stitched together. By this measure a more precise knurled seam and folding of the knurled seam can be carried out.
The folds are preferably accordion-like or bellows-like trained to further increase the chamber volume, without increasing the outside dimensions of the bag. Depending on Desired chamber size can be the accordion or bellows-like Folding each long side at least five, preferably seven fold lines exhibit. This is in addition to the flexibility in the design of the bag thickness the additional advantage associated with a low depth of folding in the inside of the bag can be worked into and thus that effective filling volume for the substance can be increased.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a thread with a Label attached to the infusion bag, the label thread preferably is loop-shaped inside the chamber and by means of the Pull out label for use.
For the continuous production, filling and sealing of single-chamber infusion bags of the type described above is according to the invention Proposed method, which is characterized in that on a initially flat material web, in particular filter paper web, if necessary after bulging their side edges - portioned Substance quanta of the leached substance at regular intervals be deposited that then a continuous hose from the web is formed by the two longitudinal edges inwards towards the longitudinal center folded and of uneven length from the plane of the bag surface bent up parallel to each other and connected by knurling be that during tube forming or after the Hose forming the two long sides with one facing inward extending folding are provided that then the hose in regular intervals, each covering a quantity of substance in Transverse direction is heat sealed and that the transverse heat seals are centered are cut and such hose parts are formed, each one have a chamber containing substance quantum.
The method of the invention can be carried out at high speed, since the middle-longitudinal connection is carried out by mechanical knurling and - unlike in the manufacture of a medium-length heat seal - no time-consuming transfers of high amounts of heat as well Cooling processes to create the longitudinal connection are carried out have to.
However, according to an expedient embodiment of the invention be advantageous to each other by preheating the two fastening longitudinal edges before carrying out the knurling Execute stapling process to the accuracy of possibly multi-stage Knurling to be carried out with folding into the bag level to be able to execute with precision.
Both long sides are preferably accordion-like or bellows-like folded in, the flat material web beforehand with linear Longitudinal knockouts according to the number of intended Folding processes can be provided.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention The process is proposed, together with the process step of Cross seal a thread with a label on each cross seal in this way attach that each one after cutting the cross seal individually present prey! has a sealed label thread that preferably pulled out in a loop shape inside the chamber is arranged.
As part of the training of the central longitudinal knurled seam is more appropriate Design of the method proposed, the touching, in the longitudinal center merged longitudinal edges to a perpendicular to the web to form upstanding longitudinal seam and this from both sides of the Knurling and, if necessary, subject to pre-stitching.

erfolgt. The one-chamber infusion bag 1 shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing
made of heat sealable filter paper material and has two each other
oppositely arranged
The volume of the
In a manner known per se, the single-chamber infusion bag 1 with a attached thread with label (not shown), which hanging the bag in a cup, jug or the like enable.
The embodiment shown in cross section in FIG. 3 of the drawing

Filterpapierbahn 4 abgelegt (vgl. Fig. 4 I der Zeichnung).
The manufacture of such a single-
Querschnitt aufweisen. Gemäß Fig. 4 der Zeichnung ist damit das
Herstellungsstadium II erreicht. In the next stage of the process, the
The
