Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum mechanischen Fügen flächig aufeinanderilegender Bleche durch Umformen mit einem Werkzeugsatz aus mindestens einem Stempel und einer Matrize, die einen Hohlraum begrenzt, in den hinein gefügt wird, wobei mindestens eines dieser beiden Werkzeugteile über eine durch Fluidversorgung erzeugte Antriebskraft derart antreibbar ist, daß der Stempel unter Wirkung einer Umformarbeit Blechmaterial aus einer Blechebene herausverlagert und staucht, und das antreibbare Werkzeugteil einen mitbewegten, seine Eindringtiefe begrenzenden Anschlag aufweist. Für eine einfache Wegbegrenzung ist vorgesehen, daß der Anschlag von einem Schaltbolzen gebildet wird, der bei Erreichen einer wählbaren Eindringtiefe gegen ein Schaltgestänge verfahrbar ist, das in einem lösbaren Rasteingriff mit einem Schließelement eines in der Fluidversorgung angeordneten Ventils für eine Tiefenbegrenzung bringbar ist, wobei der Rasteingriff zur Aufrechterhaltung einer Durchflußstellung des Ventils vorgesehen ist, und der Schaltbolzen als am Schaltgestänge angreifender Mitnehmer ausgebildet ist für ein Ausrasten des Schaltgestänges am Schließelement und Schalten des Ventils in eine Sperrstellung zur Unterbrechung der Fluidversorgung.
