Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dryer section of a machine for production a material web, in particular a paper or cardboard web. It affects also one especially for use in such a dryer section suitable convection dryer.
In the previously common multi-cylinder dryer sections, the paper web for drying over steam heated cylinders or over an arrangement of steam-heated cylinders and suction rolls. In particular, too However, problems often arise with web guiding when drying begins on, which are in particular due to the fact that the still stick to the smooth contact surface, which is responsible for a adequate heat transfer is absolutely necessary. this leads to often to web breaks and overstretching of the web edges. As a result As a rule, care must be taken to ensure that drying is slower takes place, which means that the required dryer section overall is getting longer. The problems mentioned above occur increasingly with higher ones Web speeds.
The aim of the invention is to provide a dryer section of the type mentioned to create, with at the same time as optimal as possible Drying rate and therefore the smallest possible total length of the dryer section possible and secure web guidance is guaranteed. Furthermore, a convection dryer which is particularly suitable for such a dryer section is said to be be created.
With regard to the dryer section, this object is achieved according to the invention solved that it comprises at least one convection dryer, which at least has a drying section through which the material web passed between two air-permeable sieve belts and in which the material web hot air and / or superheated steam can be applied to one or both sides through the sieve belts.
Because of this training, it is particularly possible to start at the Dryer section for adequate heat transfer to the still relative to ensure moist material web without this over smooth Contact surfaces must be performed. Instead, the web of material in a respective drying section between two air-permeable Screened belts, the surface of which faces the material web in each case open, i.e. is not smooth. As a result of avoiding smooth contact surfaces at the beginning of drying there is a risk of web breaks as well as one Overexpansion of the web edges practically eliminated. It is now in particular, higher drying rates are possible, which Total length of the dryer section shortened accordingly. The drying performance the drying process is only due to a possible influence the paper quality when the drying speed is too high limited and no longer by the path of the wet paper web. The paper does not heat up as long as it is sufficiently moist significantly above the cooling limit temperature. It can also be more flexible with the and faster adjustable convection dryer the paper quality better to be influenced. So at the beginning of the drying phase with a targeted Heating and drying in particular also a correction of Moisture cross profiles possible. After no pressing on heating surfaces The shrinkage hindrance at the beginning is also required drying is low, which has a positive effect on the tendency to cockling can. Compared to heat transfer over smooth contact surfaces lower heat transfer coefficient during convection due to a higher temperature difference and drying on both sides balanced or even overcompensated.
In a preferred practical embodiment of the invention Drying section, the convection dryer comprises at least one in Direction of web travel considered at least essentially straight or slightly curved drying section, which always ensures a safe and exact guidance is guaranteed.
It is advantageous if at least two in the convection dryer Drying sections are generally arranged one above the other. By Such a multi-storey arrangement can significantly reduce the overall length be, in particular in connection with the drying on both sides undesirable two-sidedness is also avoided.
In an expedient practical embodiment, there is at least one Drying section of the convection dryer between two Drying or nozzle hoods formed. There is at least one Drying hood preferably with steam or air extraction at the same time provided, which increases the required length of the dryer section further decreased. So there is no change between heating up and evaporation more needed, which means the additional evaporation area not applicable.
The convection dryer can at least partially laterally move the material web enclose. By avoiding that the exhaust air with mixed with colder ambient air, this exhaust air at high temperature continue to be used.
If the convection dryer has several drying sections, you can these at least partially, in particular with regard to their heating output can also be controlled separately. Overall, it is a more sensitive one It is possible to influence the material web.
The convection dryer can expediently be used for moisture profiling at least one divided into zones transverse to the web running direction Have drying section. It is alternatively or additionally conceivable, the respective drying hoods at least partially in the web running direction to divide.
According to a preferred practical embodiment, the whole Convection dryer through a closed web guide intended. Such a closed web guide favors in particular the previously mentioned multi-level arrangement of several in general drying sections arranged one above the other.
A web deflection following a respective drying section is preferably carried out by a respective screen suction roll, of which the respective outer one, which is led through the preceding drying section Screen belt is removed, so that a shear of the material web is avoided.
The material web is expediently in at least one Drying section of the convection dryer with hot air and / or Superheated steam, whose temperature is in a range of about 150 to about 450 ° C and in particular about 200 to about 400 ° C.
In a practical embodiment, the material web is at least a drying section of the convection dryer with hot air and / or superheated steam, the flow velocity in a range of about 60 to about 120 m / s, especially about 90 to 110 m / s, and preferably in the range of 100 m / s.
In a preferred practical embodiment of the invention The dryer section is at least one convection dryer in the direction of web travel arranged in front of a single or double-row cylinder dryer group, the material web when reaching the first drying cylinder this drying group preferably already up to a dry content in Range from about 55 to about 65% is dried.
The convection dryer can thus in particular directly at the beginning or in an initial area of the dryer section after one or more Cylinders may be provided. In addition or alternatively, however, it is also possible, at least one such convection dryer in a main evaporation zone and / or to be provided in the end region of the dryer section. This results in an even higher drying rate, which means that Drying section overall is further shortened.
With regard to the convection dryer, the aforementioned object is achieved according to the invention
