Ein in an sich bekannter Weise ausgebildeter Druckplattenwechsler kann daher zur Ausführung der vorliegenden Erfindung durch Anbringung einer Rolle, eines Schleifkontaktes bzw. einer elektrisch leitfähigen Bürste erweitert werden. Die Rolle, der Schleifkontakt bzw. die Bürste wird dabei derartig in dem den Druckplattenwechsler bildenden Schutz angeordnet, so daß das elektrische Potential der Druckplatte an der Plattenrückseite abgreifbar und der stationären Auswerte- und Steuereinheit zuführbar ist. Die die Druckplatte leitenden Teile sind elektrisch isoliert ausgeführt, d.h. aus elektrisch nichtleitendem Kunststoff (bzw. beschichtetes Metall). Ein prinzipiell angedeuteter Zylinder 1 (Plattenzylinder, Druckformzylinder) weist in einer nicht dargestellten und dem Druckanfang der Druckplatte 6 zugeordneten Klemmeinrichtung zwei Registerstifte 2.1, 2.2 auf, welche elektrisch isoliert gegenüber der Klemmeinrichtung und dem gesamten Zylinder 1 angebracht sind. Die Registerstifte 2.1, 2.2 stehen mit einem Signalgeber 4 in Signalverbindung. Der Signalgeber 4 innerhalb des Zylinders 1 steht ferner mit einer Stromversorgung in Form einer Batterie bzw. eines Akkus in Verbindung. Wie in Figur 1 angedeutet, weist die dem Zylinder 1 zuzuführende Druckplatte 5 an der vorderen Kante zwei U-förmige Ausstanzungen auf, welche in an sich bekannter Weise mit den Registerstiften 2.1, 2.2 zusammenwirken. Der Rückseite der Druckplatte 5 ist ein Kontakt 6 zugeordnet, über den das Potential der Druckplatte 5 abgreifbar und einer gestellfest angeordneten Auswerteeinheit 7 zuführbar ist. So ist durch die Auswerteeinheit 7 auch feststellbar, an welchem der Registerstifte 2.1, 2.2 die Druckplatte 5 registergerecht anliegt und an welchem der Stifte dies nicht der Fall ist. Nachdem durch die stationäre Auswerteeinheit 7 durch Erfassen des elektrischen Potentials der Druckplatte 5 gemäß Beaufschlagung der Registerstifte 2.1, 2.2 die reigstergerechte Anlage festgestellt wurde, wird die Klemmeinrichtung im Zylinder 1 geschlossen und die Druckplatte 5 auf den Zylinder 1 aufgezogen. Claims (8)

  1. Device for register checking for the cylinder of a printing press, particularly for the plate or forme cylinders in an offset rotary printing press, with a register pin fitted electrically insulated with respect to the cylinder, from which a signal can be extracted if an electrically conducting printing forme lies against this in correct register, as well as a stationary evaluation unit receiving this signal, characterised in that a signal emitter (4) is fitted to the register pin (2.1, 2.2) by means of which the printing forme (5) can be brought via the register pin (2.1, 2.2) to a preset potential and that the stationary evaluation unit (7) is already in electrical contact with the printing forme (5) to determine the potential via a contact (6).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the contact (6) cooperates with the rear side of the printing forme (5).
  3. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the contact (6) is constructed as a sliding contact.
  4. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the contact (6) is constructed as an electrically conducting contact roller.
  5. Device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the contact (6) is constructed as an electrically conducting brush.
  6. Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that fitted to the contact (6) is a support roller (10) acting on the printing side of the printing forme (5).
  7. Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the register pin (2.1, 2.2) can be subjected by means of the signal emitter (4) to a predetermined pulse sequence.
  8. Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that in the case of two register pins (2.1, 2.2) arranged in the cylinde (1), these can be subjected via the signal emitter (4) to pulses in differing fashion and that these pulses can be evaluated separately by means of the evaluation unit (7).
