- Ironing board according to Claim 2, characterized in that first and second spaced-apart holders (1, 4) each with at least one opening are provided on the underside of the ironing-board top (2), and in that the support (5) is provided with lateral protrusions which can be introduced into the openings in the holders (1, 4).
- Ironing board according to Claim 3, characterized in that the holders are formed by parallel first and second rails (1, 4) which run in the longitudinal direction of the ironing-board top (2) and each have a plurality of openings which are located opposite the openings in the other rail.
- Ironing board according to Claim 4, in the case of which the periphery of the ironing-board top (2) is provided with a frame (1) and the underside of the ironing-board top is provided with guide rails (3, 4) for a collapsible stand, characterized in that the rails are formed, on the one hand, by a section of the frame (1) and, on the other hand, by that section of a guide rail (4) which is located opposite this frame section.
- Ironing board according to either of Claims 3 and 5, characterized in that the support (5) has a base plate with flat protrusions on one side and with angled protrusions on the opposite side, in that the first holder (1) is provided with relatively narrow slots for the introduction of the flat protrusions and the second holder (4) is provided with relatively wide slots for the introduction of the ends of the angled protrusions, and in that provided on the base plate is a manually actuable clamping element which is suitable for accommodating the second holder (4) between itself and the ends of the angled protrusions and for clamping the same firmly on the second holder.
- Ironing board according to Claim 6, characterized in that the clamping element is mounted in a rotatable manner in the base plate and has a clamping plate which is rounded at the end which, in the clamping position, is located opposite the ends of the angled protrusions.
- Ironing board according to Claim 7, characterized in that the clamping plate has a handle on its bottom side, as seen in the inserted state, and has a catch, connected by a pin, on its top side, and in that the base plate is provided with a slot through which the catch can be guided and which has a hole-like widening in which the pin ends up located.
- Ironing board according to Claim 8, characterized in that the base plate is provided on its top side, on both sides of the slot, with protuberances, between which the catch ends up located in the clamping position of the clamping element.
- Ironing board according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support has carrying elements in the form of two spaced-apart, U-shaped brackets (20) on which the iron can be positioned or suspended.
- Ironing board according to Claim 9, characterized in that the bottom legs of the brackets (20) run obliquely upwards.
- Ironing board according to Claim 9 or 10, characterized in that plugged onto the bottom legs of the brackets (20) are rests which are provided with latching elements for securing the iron in a releasable manner.
- Ironing board according to Claim 12, characterized in that the rests are clipped onto the brackets.
- Ironing board according to Claim 10, characterized in that the brackets (20) are coated with a silicone tubing.
