Claims (32)

  1. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung zum Aufnehmen eines Banknotenbündels und zum schnellen Bewerten aller Banknoten in dem Bündel, wobei die Vorrichtung umfasst:
    einen Eingabebehälter (12,404) zum Aufnehmen eines Banknotenbündels, das zu bewerten ist;
    mehrere Ausgabebehälter (217a,b,408) zum Aufnehmen der Banknoten, nachdem die Banknoten bewertet worden sind;
    einen Transportmechanismus (M,N) zum einzelnen Transportieren der Banknoten, von dem Eingabebehälter zu den Ausgabebehältern entlang eines Transportweges;
    eine Unterscheidungseinheit (406) zum Bewerten der Banknoten, wobei die Unterscheidungseinheit einen Detektor aufweist, der entlang des Transportweges zwischen dem Eingabebehälter und den Ausgabebehältern angeordnet ist, wobei die Unterscheidungseinheit den Nennwert der Banknoten bestimmt;
    eine Einrichtung (406) zum Anzeigen, ob eine Banknote ein Kriterium oder mehrere Kriterien erfüllt oder nicht erfüllt, wobei das Kriterium darin besteht, dass die Unterscheidungseinheit den Nennwert einer Banknote bestimmt, und wobei die Anzeigevorrichtung Banknoten anzeigt, deren Nennwerte durch die Unterscheidungseinheit nicht bestimmt worden sind,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Routing-Schnittstelle (61,556) eine Datenannahmevorrichtung umfasst, wobei die Datenannahmevorrichtung Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung erhält, die spezifizieren, zu welchem der Ausgabebehälter die Banknoten, die durch die Anzeigeeinrichtung angezeigt worden sind, geleitet werden sollen; wobei die Routing-Schnittstelle dem Benutzer ermöglicht, angezeigte Banknoten zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der mehreren Ausgabebehälter zu leiten.
  2. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 1, weiterhin umfassend eine Anzeigesteuerschnittstelle, wobei die Anzeigesteuerschnittsteile eine Anzeigedatenannahmevorrichtung umfasst, wobei die Anzeigedatenannahmevorrichtung Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung erhält, die spezifizieren, ob die Bewertungsvorrichtung den Betrieb abbrechen soll, basierend auf Ermittlung, ob eine Banknote das Kriterium erfüllt oder nicht erfüllt.
  3. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 2, wobei die Anzeigedatenannahmevorrichtung Informationen von dem Benutzer erhält, die eine vorbestimmte Position spezifizieren, an welcher die angezeigte Banknote angeordnet werden soll, wenn der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen ist.
  4. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 3, wobei die Anzeigedatenannahmevorrichtung dem Benutzer erlaubt zu spezifizieren, dass eine angezeigte Banknote die letzte Banknote sein soll, die zu einem der Ausgabebehälter geliefert wird, wenn der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen ist.
  5. Die Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 2 oder 3, wobei die Anzeigedatenannahmevorrichtung dem Bediener erlaubt zu spezifizieren, dass der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen werden soll, bevor eine angezeigte Banknote zu einem der Ausgabebehälter geliefert worden ist.
  6. Die Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-5, wobei die Datenannahmevorrichtung einen Touch-Screen umfasst.
  7. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-6, wobei die Unterscheidungseinheit angepasst ist, um das Auftreten von mehreren Fehlerzuständen zu ermitteln, und eine Schnittstelle umfasst, die einem Bediener der Bewertungsvorrichtung ermöglicht zu spezifizieren, wie die mehreren Fehlerzustände zu handhaben sind.
  8. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 7, wobei die Schnittstelle dem Benutzer erlaubt, für jede der Fehlerzustände zu spezifizieren, zu welchem Ausgabebehälter oder Ausgabebehältern eine Banknote, die einen bestimmten Fehlerzustand auslöst, zu leiten ist, wobei die Schnittstelle dem Bediener erlaubt, eine Banknote, die einen bestimmten Fehlerzustand auslöst, zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der Ausgabebehälter zu leiten.
  9. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung aus Anspruch 7 oder 8, wobei die Schnittstelle dem Bediener erlaubt, Banknoten, die unterschiedliche Fehlerzustände auslösen, zu unterschiedlichen Ausgabebehältern zu leiten.
  10. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 7-9, wobei die Schnittsteile dem Bediener erlaubt, für jeden der Fehlerzustände zu spezifizieren, ob die Bewertungsvorrichtung den Betrieb abbrechen soll.
  11. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 7-10, wobei die Schnittstelle dem Bediener erlaubt zu spezifizieren, dass bei Auftreten eines bestimmten Fehlerzustandes (1) der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen werden soll, oder (2) eine Banknote, die den bestimmten Fehlerzustand ausgelöst hat, zu einem Ausgabebehälter aussortiert werden soll, ohne den Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abzubrechen.
  12. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 7-10, wobei die Schnittstelle dem Bediener ermöglicht zu spezifizieren, dass bei Auftreten eines bestimmten Fehlerzustandes, der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen werden soll, so dass eine Banknote, die einen bestimmten Fehlerzustand auslöst, gestoppt ist (1) bevor diese in einen der Ausgabebehälter geliefert wurde, so dass die Banknote in dem Transportmechanismus angeordnet ist, oder (2) nachdem diese in einen der Ausgabebehälter geliefert wurde, so dass die Banknote die letzte Banknote ist, die in diesen Ausgabebehälter geliefert wurde.
  13. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 8, 11 oder 12, wobei der bestimmte Fehlerzustand ein Fremdnotenfehlerzustand ist.
  14. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 8, 11 oder 12, wobei der bestimmte Fehlerzustand ein Nennwertwechselfehlerzustand ist.
  15. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 8, 11 oder 12, wobei der bestimmte Fehlerzustand ein Separatserienfehlerzustand ist.
  16. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-15, wobei die Datenannahmevorrichtung angepasst ist, Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung zu erhalten, die spezifizieren, zu welchem Ausgabebehälter Banknoten eines Nennwertes oder mehrerer Nennwerte und Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht durch die Unterscheidungseinheit bestimmt worden sind, zu leiten sind; wobei die Routing-Schnittstelle dem Bediener erlaubt, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht ermittelt worden sind, zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der mehreren Ausgabebehälter zu leiten.
  17. Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-15, die angepasst ist, um verdächtige Banknoten zu ermitteln, und wobei die Datenannahmevorrichtung angepasst ist, um Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung zu empfangen, die spezifizieren, zu welchem Ausgabebehälter (1) Banknoten eines Nennwertes oder mehrerer Nennwerte, (2) Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht durch die Unterscheidungseinheit bestimmt worden sind, und (3) Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu leiten sind; wobei die Routing-Schnittstelle dem Bediener erlaubt, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht bestimmt worden sind, und Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der mehreren Ausgabebehälter zu leiten, einschließlich dem Bediener zu erlauben, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht bestimmt worden sind und Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu unterschiedlichen Ausgabebehältern zu leiten.
  18. Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Währungsbewertungsvorrichtung, die die Nennwerte von Banknoten unterscheidet, das umfasst:
    Aufnehmen eines zu bewertenden Banknotenstapels in einen Eingabebehälter (12,404) der Bewertungsvorrichtung;
    einzelnes Transportieren der Banknoten, von dem Eingabebehälter zu mehreren Ausgabebehältern (217a,b,408);
    Bestimmen des Nennwertes der Banknoten unter der Steuerung der Bewertungsvorrichtung;
    Anzeigen einer Banknote, die ein Kriterium oder mehrere Kriterien erfüllt oder nicht erfüllt; wobei die Unterscheidungseinheit den Nennwert einer Banknote bestimmt und wobei Banknoten, deren Nennwerte durch die Unterscheidungseinheit nicht bestimmt worden sind, angezeigt werden,
    und Empfangen von Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung über eine Routing-Schnittstelle (61,556), wobei die Informationen spezifizieren, zu weichem Ausgabebehälter angezeigte Banknoten zu leiten sind, wobei die Routing-Schnittstelle dem Bediener ermöglicht, angezeigte Banknoten zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der mehreren Ausgabebehältern zu leiten.
  19. Verfahren aus Anspruch 18, das weiterhin das Empfangen von Informationen von einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung umfasst, die spezifizieren, ob die Bewertungsvorrichtung den Betrieb abbrechen soll aufgrund der Ermittlung einer Banknote, die das Kriterium erfüllt oder nicht erfüllt.
  20. Verfahren aus Anspruch 19, umfassend das Empfangen von Informationen von dem Bediener, die eine vorbestimmte Position spezifizieren, an welcher die angezeigte Banknote anzuordnen ist, wenn der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen ist.
  21. Verfahren aus Anspruch 20, umfassend das Spezifizieren des Benutzers, dass eine angezeigte Banknote die letzte Banknote sein soll, die zu einem der Ausgabebehälter geliefert wird, wenn der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen ist.
  22. Verfahren aus Anspruch 19 oder 20, umfassend das Spezifizieren des Benutzers, dass der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abzubrechen ist, bevor eine angezeigte Banknote zu einem der Ausgabebehälter geliefert worden ist.
  23. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 18-22, wobei die Routing-Schnittstelle einen Touch-Screen umfasst.
  24. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 18-23, das das Erfassen des Auftretens einer Vielzahl von Fehlerzuständen umfasst;
    und einem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung erlaubt zu spezifizieren, wie die mehreren Fehlerzustände zu handhaben sind.
  25. Verfahren aus Anspruch 24, das die Erlaubnis für den Benutzer umfasst, für jeden der Fehlerzustände zu spezifizieren, zu welchem Ausgabebehälter oder welchen Ausgabebehaltern eine Banknote, die einen bestimmten Fehlerzustand auslöst, zu leiten ist, einschließlich dem Benutzer zu erlauben, eine Banknote, die einen bestimmen Fehlerzustand auslöst, zu jedem der oder jeder Gruppe der Ausgabebehälter zu leiten.
  26. Verfahren aus Anspruch 24 oder 25, das die Erlaubnis für den Benutzer umfasst, Banknoten, die verschiedene Fehlerzustände auslösen, zu unterschiedlichen Ausgabebehältern zu leiten.
  27. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 24-26, das die Erlaubnis für den Benutzer umfasst, für jede der Fehlerzustände zu spezifizieren, ob die Bewertungsvorrichtung den Betrieb abbrechen soll.
  28. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 24-27, das die Erlaubnis für den Benutzer umfasst zu spezifizieren, dass bei Auftreten eines bestimmten Fehlerzustandes (1) der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen werden soll, oder (2) eine Banknote, die einen speziellen Fehlerzustand auslöst, zu einem Ausgabebehälter aussortiert werden sollte, ohne den Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abzubrechen.
  29. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 24-27, das die Erlaubnis für den Benutzer umfasst zu spezifizieren, dass bei Auftreten eines bestimmten Fehlerzustandes entweder der Betrieb der Bewertungsvorrichtung abgebrochen werden sollte, so dass eine Banknote, die einen bestimmten Fehlerzustand auslöst, gestoppt ist (1), bevor diese in einen der Ausgabebehälter geliefert wurde, so dass die Banknote in dem Transportmechanismus angeordnet ist, oder (2) nachdem diese in einen der Ausgabebehälter geliefert worden ist, so dass die Banknote die letzte Banknote ist, die in den Ausgabebehälter geliefert wurde.
  30. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 25, 28 oder 29, wobei der bestimmte Fehlerzustand ausgewählt wird von einem Fremdnotenfehlerzustand, einem Nennwertwechselfehlerzustand und einem Separatserienfehlerzustand.
  31. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 18-30, das das Empfangen von Informationen von dem Benutzer der Bewertungsvorrichtung umfasst, die spezifizieren, zu welchem Ausgabebehälter Banknoten von einem Nennwert oder mehreren Nennwerten und Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht durch die Unterscheidungseinheit bestimmt worden sind, zu leiten sind, und dem Benutzer zu ermöglichen, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht bestimmt worden sind, zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der mehreren Ausgabebehälter zu leiten.
  32. Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 18-31, dass das Ermitteln von verdächtigen Banknoten und das Empfangen von Informationen von dem Benutzer der Bewertungseinrichtung umfasst, die spezifizieren, zu welchem der Ausgabebehälter (1) Banknoten eines Nennwertes oder mehrerer Nennwerte (2) Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht durch die Unterscheidungseinheit bestimmt worden sind, und (3) Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu leiten sind, und dem Benutzer zu erlauben, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht bestimmt worden sind und Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu jedem oder jeder Gruppe der Vielzahl von Ausgabebehälter zu leiten, einschließlich dem Benutzer zu erlauben, Banknoten, deren Nennwerte nicht bestimmt worden sind, und Banknoten, die als verdächtig bestimmt worden sind, zu unterschiedlichen Ausgabebehältern zu leiten.
