Abstract

In a non-stop stack changing device, remaining-stack bars are pulled from the stack area one by one and out-of-line in relation to each other. To this end, a pull/push drive is provided, which makes it possible to push the remaining-stack bars simultaneously into the grooves of a pallet carrying a sheet stack. Furthermore, the pull/push drive makes it possible to pull the remaining-stack bars in pairs from inside outwards out of the stack area. In addition, the remaining-stack bars can be pulled in a first and second sequence in accordance with this model. An individual motor drive is provided for this purpose, which operates interlockingly on each individual remaining-stack bar.

Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.

A device according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from DE 4203500 A1. It points parallel to Sheet feeder and associated with a residual pile support device on the end face as an independent unit. The aim of the invention is to improve the device for stack change so that the disadvantages described are avoided.

The object of the invention is to provide a device of the type mentioned improve that batch change in a simple and continuous manner becomes possible, optimally matching the desired stack change conditions adaptable and simple drive device is to be provided.

The solution to the problem arises from the patent claims.

It is advantageous that residual stack bars which can be moved independently of one another are provided in the device and are pulled out of the stack area with a time delay. The simple and compact drive proposed for this purpose enables the space-saving arrangement of the residual stack support device.
A different height of the remaining stack bars creates a smooth settling movement of the remaining stack on the sheet stack. The continuous removal of the remaining stack bars from the inside to the outside and in two stages enables the remaining stack to be deposited gently on the sheet stack. By designing the remaining stacking rods of different lengths, an improved workflow is created. Further improvements bring a staggering of the speed of the individual remaining stack bars to each other.

The residual stacker 5 is located on the top of the Guide rails 8, engages from there on the frame 6 of the Remaining stack support device 3 and moves it on the guide rails 8 up and down.

From Figure 1 it can be seen that the residual stack support device 3 by means of Guide rails 8 directly attached to the sheet feeder 2 and over the entire height of the sheet separation device 4 can be raised. The rest of the stacker 5 is in the process of supplying a sheet-processing machine Machine, e.g. the printing press 1, can be raised and lowered with sheets and the Residual stack support device 3 is outside the processing area for the actual stack change movable. This arrangement in the sheet feeder 2 it is very easily accessible from its front operating side.

FIG. 3 shows a complete representation of the residual stack support device 3. The frame 6 is guided vertically on the guide rails 8. In the frame 6, the remaining stacking rods 7 are guided in the form of supporting rods 7A and spacing rods 7B in a front support rail 9. A traction drive 11 for occasionally pulling the support rods 7A and spacer rods 7B is arranged on a rear mounting rail 10. The position shown is the waiting position. Furthermore, drives 12 are provided on both sides for the longitudinal displacement of the rear support rail 10 on guide rails 13 on the frame 6. The drives 12 determine the position of the rear mounting rail 10 at the rear end or within the frame 6. The front mounting rail 9 is firmly connected to the frame 6.
The support rods 7A or spacer rods 7B are of different heights. The support rods 7A are, for example, approximately twice as high as the spacer rods 7B. The term height means the expansion of the support rods 7A or spacer rods 7B perpendicular to the plane of extent of the residual stack support device 3. The effect of this measure is shown in detail in the following diagrams.

The support rods 7A and spacer rods 7B can be of the same length. In a preferred embodiment, the support rods 7A are longer than that Spacer bars 7B. The support rods 7A are used to take over a remaining stack H first the load bearing and must be dimensioned accordingly, whereby the load has to be diverted into other suspension elements (see Fig. 4).

The residual stack support device 3 is shown in operation in FIG. The support rods 7A, and the spacer bars 7B are by means of the drives 12 together with the rear mounting rail 10 advanced relative to the front mounting rail 9 and inserted in grooves of a pallet P carrying the sheet stack S. Front support rail 9 and rear support rail 10 are located with the traction drive 11 now parallel in front of the pallet P, the rest of a sheet stack S, the so-called residual stack H carries. The pallet P and the remaining stack H become not touched by the front mounting rail 9. The longer and higher Support rods 7A lie on a residual stack lifting rail 14 in the direction of sheet travel seen front end in the sheet feeder 2. This residual stack lifting rail 14 is coupled with a linear actuator and for supporting the support rods 7A and the lifting movement provided during production. The Remaining stack lifting rail 14 and the remaining stack lifting mechanism 5 are both with the Stack lifting device of the sheet feeder 2 connected or at least so mechanically or control technically coupled with each other that they at Batch processing especially when merging the remaining stack H can be lifted synchronously with a new sheet stack S.

From Fig. 4 it can also be seen that in the position shown Remaining stack support device 3 with inserted into the grooves of the pallet P. Support rods 7A and spacer rods 7B the space within the frame 6 free and the frame 6 is open towards the rear.

The relationship of the pulling movement to the device is shown once again in FIG clarified within the sheet feeder 2. The support rods 7A and Spacer bars 7B alternately lie in grooves of a pallet P (one on the other the webs between the grooves of the pallet P normally the sheet stack S has to be presented on top). The support rods 7A are on the Remaining stacking lifting rail 14. The same applies in the case shown to the inner ones Spacer bars 7B, which are only half the height of the support bars 7A. The The pulling process of the support rods 7A begins with those closest to the center of the stack thicker support rods 7A, which are drawn as a pair as shown. Doing so the remaining stack H in this area continuously on the thinner Spacer bars 7B. The pulling of the thicker support rods 7A and in the sequence of thinner spacer bars 7B are fluid and in close succession always separate. This is a device for controlling the Train movement provided.

Der Stapelwechsel läuft also wie folgt ab:

  • I. - Bei Erreichen einer Mindesthöhe des Bogenstapels S wird der Stapelwechselvorgang gestartet.
  • II.
  • The batch change therefore takes place as follows:
  • I. - When a minimum height of the sheet stack S is reached, the stack changing process is started.
  • II. - The support rods 7A and the spacer rods 7B are pushed together from the frame 6 into the grooves of the pallet P below the sheet stack S, the sheet stack S remaining on the back to the rest of the stack support device 3.
  • III. - The support rods 7A are moved under by the residual stack lifting rail and raised until the residual stack H is carried by the support rods 7A.
  • IV. - The pallet P is lowered and removed from the sheet feeder 2.
  • V. - The remaining stack H is continuously raised to separate the sheets by means of the stack lift drive.
  • VI. - A new sheet stack S is inserted into the sheet feeder 2 and raised by means of the main stack stroke.
  • VII. - When the top of the sheet stack S touches the underside of the support rods 7A, the drawing process of the support rods 7A is initiated.
  • VIII. - The support rods 7A are pulled out individually or in pairs from the inside to the outside between the remaining stack H and the stack of sheets S.
  • IX. - The remaining stack H is continuously deposited on the spacer bars 7B from the inside to the outside.
  • X. - The remaining stack lifting rail becomes free, the remaining stack supporting device 3 no longer takes on a load, the remaining spacer bars 7B only have control functions for the stack union.
  • XI. - The spacer bars 7B are continuously pulled out from the inside to the outside between the remaining stack H and the stack of sheets S.
  • XII. - The remaining stack H is continuously deposited on the top of the sheet stack S from the inside out.
In a further embodiment, not all of the Insert remaining stack support rods 7. So with very thick sheet materials, the due to its stability only slowly when pulling the support rods 7A increasing gap between the in the gap between sheet stack S and lower the remaining stack H, the spacer bars 7B are omitted. So that will the changeover process is accelerated because there is time to pull the spacer rods 78 is saved.

The design of the device for pulling the remaining stacking rods 7 is based on them special functions aligned. The remaining stacking bars 7 are here as differently designed support rods 7A and spacer rods 7B shown and lie in the front mounting rail 9 and the rear mounting rail 10. Die Support rods 7A are longer and about twice as thick as the spacer rods 7B. All Remaining stacking bars 7 are provided with a drive connection. For that are the Remaining stacking rods 7 guided together on the rear mounting rail 10 on the Individual drives 50 are arranged. At the rear end of the frame 6 can Support rail 15 may be provided, which is not fixed to the remaining stacking bars 7 connected, but both together with them and independently of them is movable.

FIGS. 6 and 7 show the details of the individual drives 50 and their arrangement.
In order to shift the remaining stacking bars 7, they are moved by individual drives 50 via toothings 51 in the direction of the stacking area. Gears 51 are provided on the side of each remaining stacking rod 7. In order to ensure reliable functioning, the edges of the toothed side of a remaining stacking rod 7 are beveled. This prevents the toothing 51 from having an unfavorable effect on the pallet P or, above all, the sheets in the remaining stack H or sheet stack S. This is also not the case with batch merging.

To insert all the remaining stacking rods 7 into the grooves of the pallet P, they become advanced simultaneously by means of their individual drives 50. It can be provided that the feed movement by means of the individual drives 50 only up to is led to a waiting position. The final insertion movement until inserted end position can then on the rear mounting rail 10 of the Drive 12 to be carried out over the remaining distance to the front mounting rail 9. For this purpose, the rear mounting rail 10 on guide rails 13 from a drive 12 are moved (see also Fig. 3 and 4). The drive 12 can as Pressure medium drive or electric motor drive.

A single drive 50 is composed of a servo motor 52, a drive pinion 53 and a straight guide formed from a plurality of guide rollers 54. The servo motor 52 sits vertically on the rear mounting rail 10 in the illustrated embodiment and takes hold of it. The drive pinion 53 is on the axis of the servo motor 52 arranged. The drive pinion 53 engages in the toothing 51 on the Remaining stacking rod 7. To this end, the toothing 51 is on the side of each remaining stacking rod 7 attached and extends substantially over the entire length of the Remaining stacking rod 7 so that it essentially forms a rack. The lateral arrangement avoids the effects of the teeth on the arches and results in improved leadership. Each remaining stacking rod 7 is therefore on its top and bottom guided by several pairs of guide rollers 54. Besides, is each remaining stacking rod 7 on its long sides, on the one hand, from the drive pinion 53 and on the opposite side of other vertical ones Guide rollers 54 out. A tilt-free movement is thus possible at the same time requires the lowest possible drive energy.

A separate control is provided for each servo motor 52 differentiated influencing of the displacement movement of each individual Remaining stacking rod 7 in terms of its speed, positioning and Load both when inserting into the grooves of the pallet P and when It is possible to pull from the stack area between the remaining stack H and the stack of sheets S. makes. This can be done in the controller for driving an individual Residual stack rod 7 a position monitoring and monitoring for the Tension load should be provided, which is made possible by means of electronic control means.

The support rail 15 may be used to pull the remaining stacking rods 7 first independently of the remaining stacking bars 7 by means of the drive 12 again returned to the starting position. The remaining stacking bars 7, but at least the support rods 7A between the remaining stacks H and Sheet stack S jammed. Then the remaining stack bars 7 by means of Individual drives 50 pulled from the stacking area. Here you can do that above described pattern can be used by the remaining stacking rods 7 in pairs are pulled outwards from the center by first only supporting rods 7A and then the spacer bars 7B are pulled and / or by the Speed of the remaining stacking rods 7 is varied from the inside to the outside to achieve a deliberately gentle but optimized fast stacking. The Pulling movement of each individual remaining stacking rod 7 takes place with constant Speed.
