Description

The invention relates to a method of manufacture a device for treating textile fibers, according to the preamble of claim 1.

In the manufacture of ring-shaped opening rollers aforementioned type, it is common to avoid costly one-piece steel ring steel toothed wire versions Steel toothed wire with its foot in one on the surface of the Helical groove provided around the ring by pulling in set. The formation of the ring from aluminum has proven to be cheaper than the steel because in use of aluminum by pressurizing the area of the Only a more secure anchoring of the wire is guaranteed. However, the problem after the production is problematic the hardening of the ring steel wire unit Tips of the wound wires z. B. by electrochemical Coating. Furthermore, methods according to the preamble of Claim 1 known from WO 91/15605. Furthermore is off WO 94/05837 discloses an opening roller in which the outer Parts of the machining elements with a friction-reducing Coating are provided.

The invention has for its object a method to create, with the help of eliminating the aforementioned Disadvantages in a relatively simple way opening rollers or round combs of combing machines with comparatively higher ones Downtimes can be produced.

This task is accomplished by the in the characterizing part of claim 1 specified further development of the known methods solved. Draw opening rollers created in this way the high wear resistance of the sawtooth tips over relatively long periods of use. this is also valid for round combs, the most heavily loaded front wire sections as separate components after their shape adjustment Curing process can be subjected.

As particularly advantageous in terms of manufacturing technology it has proven according to the invention if the on punching and electrochemical deburring of the saw teeth and the pre-bending process of the toothed wire or the Wire sections corresponding to the curved surface of the Ring or round comb carrier following surface hardening process a coating by applying a diamond / Ni layer. It is particularly beneficial if the wires are first a helical pre-bending process and then subjected to the surface hardening process in the area of their saw teeth and then be wound on the ring.

Such is the case with the method according to the invention helical pre-bending of the sawtooth wire from Advantage that the latter has an inner diameter in a relaxed state having approximately the outer diameter of the corresponds to cylindrical ring, so that the sawtooth wire helix can be pushed onto the cylindrical ring or through Rolling into the groove can be fixed. That way, so to speak All-steel wire helix created as an intermediate product has a comparatively small space requirement and therefore allows a relatively convenient handling in the following Mount on the body forming the opening roller Ring.

If saw tooth wires are used to form the set, with a foot and a leaf that emanates from it have a sequence of saw teeth, and one on the cylindrical Ring provided on the outside helical groove, the one, approximately rectangular, delimited by two lateral webs Cross section that corresponds to the corresponding cross section of the adapted in the groove insertable foot of the sawtooth wire is, then it is according to the invention in a further embodiment very cheap if at least one of the grooves of the ring is on the side limiting web by radial loading such Deformation learns that ring material from the area of pressurized web in one in a flank of the in the Groove inserted foot provided over the entire Length of the sawtooth wire extending longitudinal groove pressed in becomes. In this relatively simple way, one can effective mechanical coupling of the sawtooth wire with the Reach the ring.

To begin with, the sawtooth wire helix is simple and placing it securely in the groove of the ring is the procedure further characterized in an advantageous manner Use a molded on the side of the sawtooth wire Radial loading shoulder when pushing in pre-shaped sawtooth wire into the groove.

The invention is similarly cheap for a circular comb carrier practicable with several successive wire sections, of which the foremost in the direction of action, the Teeth one compared to the teeth of the next as well as the the following sections have a greater mutual distance, after production in adapted to the curvature of the circular comb carrier Form preferably by gluing z. B. by means of a One or two-component adhesive on the round comb carrier is set. By improving the first, foremost Section becomes the round comb life in a very favorable way greatly increased, since all sections at about the same time are worn out, whereupon the change of the complete Comb is done.

As the drawing shows, one is in shape a cylindrical ring 1 made of aluminum opening roller base with one indicated only schematically in FIG. 1 helical groove 2, in which a previously in Spiral steel wire 3 is anchored. The sectional views of FIGS. 2 and 3 show that the in Outer surface of the cylindrical ring 1 screwed in helical Groove 2 is delimited by lateral webs 4 and 4 ' run parallel to each other and to the transverse Extend groove base 5, so that the groove 2 a practical has rectangular cross section.

Fig. 5 läßt eine an der einen Seite des im Querschnitt rechteckigen Fußes 6 vorgesehene, sich in Drahtlängsrichtung erstreckende Längsrille 9 erkennen.4 and 5 can be seen that the set forming all-steel wire in the form of sawtooth wire 3 a foot 6 and a sheet 7 extending from it with a sequence of saw teeth 8 comprises. Fig. 5 starts one one side of the foot 6 with a rectangular cross section, longitudinal groove extending in the longitudinal direction of the wire 9 recognize.

Dazu dient eine am Fuß 6 des Ganzstahldrahtes 3 seitlich angeformte Schulter 10.The cross section of the foot 6 is that of the groove 2 customized. The foot 6 can thus be pressed into the groove. To serves a laterally formed on the foot 6 of the all steel wire 3 Shoulder 10.

According to the sawtooth wire after manufacture the teeth in a punching process with subsequent tooth hardening to increase tooth strength against deformation forces then in their form by pre-bending to that of Adjusted Rings 1, d. H. in the spiral shape shown in Fig. 1 converted. Subsequent to electrochemical deburring they become a surface hardening process by application a diamond / Ni layer, if necessary after previous coating with a nickel layer forming the basis.

The mentioned diamond / Ni coating with a thickness of about 0.5 to 2 mµ ensures the desired particularly high hardness the surface of the saw teeth, on the other hand, the All-steel wire 3 but in the area of its foot 6 for the small one Bending when mounting on ring 1 - or one full roller carrying it - sufficiently flexible. The coating, which could not be carried out on the endless belt can be due to the given helix shape when rolling into the groove do not tear due to the minimal post-bending.

The mentioned pressing and fixing of the helical pre-bent sawtooth wire 3 after passing over the ring 1 has been pushed into the helical groove 2 in the manner indicated in FIGS. 6 and 7. The wire 3 is namely at the introduction into the groove 2 in the system Nutgrund 5 brought, and practically at the same time with the help an unillustrated narrow pressure roller of the outer region of one indicated by an arrow 11 Web 4 acted radially such that ring material from the Area of the pressurized web 4 into the longitudinal groove 9 the sawtooth wire 3 is pressed in and so for one sufficiently firm mechanical connection of the ring 1 with the Wire 3 provides.

Der Rundkammträger 12 ist mittels Schrauben 14 am nicht gezeigten Untergrund lösbar befestigt.9 a circular comb carrier 12 is illustrated, on which several wire sections 13 are fixed one after the other are. The circular comb support 12 is not by means of screws 14 shown underground releasably attached.

The teeth 8 of the individual wire sections each have a mutual distance that differs from section to section changes. The smallest distance is in Direction of action at the rearmost section.

The foremost, first section 13 has thus teeth with one compared to the next and the following sections greatest distance.

Inside, d. H. on the round comb support 12 facing side, have the different wire sections 13 one to the curvature of the outer surface of the circular comb carrier 12 adjusted curvature. They are therefore easy to use Sufficient with the help of a one or two component adhesive fix firmly to the outer surface of the circular comb support if mechanical fastening is not preferred.

The teeth are strongest in the direction of action foremost first wire section 13 of the wear stress through their particularly intensive contact with the combing fiber material, e.g. B. nonwoven fabric. By the pretreatment according to the invention of the first wire section 13 is achieved that practically all sections are worn out at the same time. Then the Change of the entire comb.

It is analogous when using comparatively more stable ones compact rollers instead of the cylindrical rings 1 also possible to remove a worn sawtooth wire and to equip the rollers with a new wire.

Process according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised by a process of helix-shaped pre-bending of the saw-toothed wire (3) such that in a stress-free state said wire has an internal diameter corresponding approximately to the external diameter of the cylindrical ring (1), with the result that the saw-toothed wire helix can be slipped over the cylindrical ring or else can be securely installed by being rolled into a groove (2).
  5. Process according to claim 4, using in the clothing the kind of saw-toothed wires (3) that have a foot (6) and emerging from the latter a blade (7) with a series of saw-teeth (8), and further using on the outside of the cylindrical ring (1) a helix-shaped groove (2) with an approximately rectangular cross-section which is delimited by two lateral walls (4, 4') and conforms to the corresponding cross-section of the foot (6) by which the saw-toothed wire (3) is seated in the groove,
characterised in that at least the one wall (4) that laterally delimits the groove (2) of the ring (1) is subjected to a deformation such that ring material from the compressed domain of the wall is forced into a fluted recess (9) that is provided in a flank of the foot (6) seated in the groove and extends over the entire length of the saw-toothed wire (3).
  6. Process according to claim 4 or 5, characterised by the use of a shoulder (10) formed laterally on the foot (6) of the saw-toothed wire (3) to allow the application of a radial force when pressing the pre-shaped saw-toothed wire into the groove (2).
  7. Process according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that at least the respective first wire section (13) of the series of wire sections of a circular comb mounting support (12) is fixed on the circular comb mounting support (12), preferably by cementing it with, for example, a two-component adhesive, following manufacture in a shape that matches the curvature of the circular comb mounting support (12).
