Description
Art.The invention relates to a device for metal loading horizontal and vertical cold chamber
- Die casting machines and methods of the prerequisite in the preamble of
For the production of die castings with high ductility is the well-known cold chamber - Die casting process, because of the air pockets as well as the melt contamination and the Gas absorption due to the turbulent melt feed into the pressure chamber and the only about 50% fillable pressure chamber volume, not suitable. Also are heat treatments or coatings above 400 ° C without risk of blistering. Around to eliminate these drawbacks and the ever increasing demand for ductile, heat-treatable To do justice to castings comes the so-called "Vacural - Die Casting Process" increasingly used. Here, the pressure chamber is charged by a Casting mold created vacuum, whereby a immersed in the melt of a stationary holding furnace Riser pipe fills the pressure chamber. Here too, when the metal is lowered, the Pressure chamber - transfer opening to the holding furnace by sucking in air chemical reactions as well as a gas absorption of the melt. So can stick oxides in the pressure chamber cannot be avoided, which considerably increases the service life of the pressure chamber and pressure piston reduced. In addition, the resulting leaks in the pressure chamber fill through air intake to additional swirling of the casting material.
In addition, the casting material is made available through the holding process as well as the liquid metal feed of the holding furnaces arranged stationary on the die casting machines represents avoidable waste of resources. For example, DE 196 13 668 C1 shows Metal supply and supply system in which an oven functions by changing the cover of casting and holding furnace as well as a transport container.
The object of the invention is to demonstrate a device and its method in which the entire Casting process takes place in the absence of air. This is achieved: by a vertical or lateral arrangement of the casting furnaces to the pressure chamber, with one on the furnace cover over a housing attached pressure or suction line, the riser pipe in the casting furnace filled with melt - Immerses pressure vessel, with a movable connecting line and its actuator the hermetic and intermittent connection to the pressure chamber is guaranteed. There is also a gassing piston between the pressure piston and its drive linkage, which forms a hermetic gassing ring channel with its guide bush. By corresponding gas pressure build-up above the melt surface in the casting furnace - pressure vessel or the pressure chamber is filled with casting material by building up a vacuum over the casting mold. After closing the metal transfer opening through the mold filling in the pressure chamber retracting pressure piston, when filling the pressure chamber of the pressure chamber by gas pressure, this is broken down over the melt surface in the casting furnace pressure vessel, and the at the Pressure melt jacket surface pending residual melt under suction or by means of a corresponding Gas pressure lowered when opening the gassing ring channel in the casting furnace. This is done the gassing of the residual melt with inert gas. The gas pressure build - up and breakdown as well atmospheric gas pressure compensation when the pressure chamber is vacuum-filled above the melt surface in the casting furnace pressure chamber, takes place through a closed inert gas circuit. After removing the casting, resetting the pressure piston and closing the mold, When the pressure chamber is refilled, the air flows through the air in the pressure or suction line as well as the inert pipe standing gas, displaced from the pressure chamber and casting mold. The melt delivery and the return delivery of the non-pourable residual melt takes place directly to and from the smelter. The casting furnace is retrofitted by changing the furnace lid into a liquid metal transport container, which can also be used for heating by liquid metal is used. To minimize melt movement during liquid metal transport dips a free-floating plate into the melt surface. After remodeling the with melt filled transport container by changing the furnace lid in a casting furnace, the air in the Pressure or suction line as well as above the melt surface in the casting furnace pressure vessel displaced by inert gassing.
This object is achieved with a device and a method with the features of the
Due to the increasing from the beginning of the casting process from approx. 20 ° C to approx. 200 ° C as well as the after Casting process interruption - or termination of decreasing pressure chamber temperature, is theirs Length of a positive or negative variable. Due to this problem exist accordingly the prior art, the risers from a tube that goes into the melt with the lower end immersed in the casting furnace and gas-tight connected to the pressure chamber. The changes in length the pressure chamber are unproblematic through an opening in the casting furnace. Filling the The pressure chamber and the lowering of the residual melt lead to a continuous melt bath movement under the influence of air, leading to chemical reactions as well as gas absorption the melt leads. This, as well as lowering the residual melt while drawing in air as a result that it repeatedly closes the riser pipes by oxides as well as melt components is coming. The problem is also not due to the use of ceramic filters in the riser pipe to solve, since the oxides formed during the lowering of the residual melt in the riser pipe at bath level the melt in line in the casting furnace. The abrasive wear can also be reduced with appropriate Cavities and oxide bonds, especially in the melt transition area of the Do not avoid the pressure chamber. In addition, the risers have to be due to the heat losses still be heated. Due to the advantageous design of the pressure or suction line via a with the furnace lid screwed, spatially, variably executable steel housing, the movable Connecting line with the sloping parting surface design to the connecting flange of the Pressure chamber, the lowering of the residual melt in the absence of air through the fumigation piston by means of inert gas, the displacement of the air by the in the pressure or suction line and the Inert gas from the pressure chamber and the closed mold when filling the pressure chamber by means of gas pressure and the interruption of direct heat dissipation ceramic or fibrous materials of all heat-conducting components, it is possible to use one To achieve pressure chamber filling, in which the disadvantages described are avoided. To ensure the hermetic connection of the pressure chamber flange and the movable The connecting line is designed with an inclined separating surface so that at the start of the casting process a gasket located in the interface and the continuous contact pressure by the Actuator on the connecting line, the linear expansion of the pressure chamber is compensated. Those that occur when the casting process is interrupted or ended Shrinkage forces of the pressure chamber on the movable connecting line are caused by a adjustable reset pulse from the die casting machine to the actuating device equalized the movable connecting line. The casting metal feed of the pressure chamber can do this by means of an inert gas pressure build-up above the melt surface in the pressure vessel or by creating a vacuum over the mold. Is the pressure chamber filled, the plunger presses the liquid metal into the mold, after the Pressure chamber - metal transfer opening through the retracting pressure piston, for gas pressure metal loading, the pressure above the melt surface in the pressure vessel is reduced and the am Pressurized piston jacket applied liquid metal column under suction of inert gas or by means of a corresponding inert gas pressure from the opening of the gassing flask is lowered into the pressure vessel. The metal is provided directly from Transport container delivered to the smelter, the liquid metal passing through in the transport container Heating can be buffered or immediately cast by changing the furnace lid. To minimize the metal movement, is in the delivery as well as in the residual quantity return of and a submerged free-floating plate to the smelting unit on the melt surface intended.

Die Einrichtung zur Metallbeschickung waage - und senkrechter Kaltkammer - Druckgießmaschinen arbeitet folgendermaßen:The device for feeding horizontal and vertical cold chamber die casting machines works as follows:
46 einwirkenden Druck, hermetisch kompensiert.
Before Gußstückfertigung 5.6 by a horizontal - or vertical cold chamber -
Platte 66 vorgesehen. The casting metal is provided and buffered via
