Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine in einem Terminal für Systeme mit nichtgeostationären Satelliten zu verwendende Phased Array Antenne (2), mit der eine schnelle Schwenkung der Hauptkeule von einem Satelliten zu einem anderen Satelliten vorgenommen werden kann, in einer Ausführung als eindimensionale Antenne, die baulich auf einer mechanischen Schwenkvorrichtung (1) angeordnet ist. Die mit ihrer Hauptkeule nur in einer Schwenkebene abtastende Phased Array Antenne wird mittels der mechanischen Schwenkvorrichtung dabei stets so positioniert, daß die Schwenkebene (3) sowohl die beiden genannten Satelliten als auch das Terminal enthält. Während des Satellitenwechsels wird die Hauptkeule somit nur elektronisch geschwenkt.
