Abstract

Es wird eine Antenne zur Abstrahlung und zum Empfang elektromagnetischer Wellen angegeben, die aus einem parabolischen Reflektor und einem als Subreflektor ausgebildeten Erreger besteht, der im Brennpunkt des Reflektors am Ende eines durch das Zentrum desselben geführten Hohlleiters angebracht ist. Auf der Rückseite des Reflektors ist eine elektrische und elektronische Bauteile enthaltende Radiobox an den Hohlleiter angeschlossen ist, die mit einer Sende- und Empfangseinrichtung verbunden ist. Zur Erhöhung der Übertagungskapazität ist zwischen der Radiobox und dem Hohlleiter eine Polarisationsweiche (8) zur simultanen Übertragung zweier orthogonal aufeinander stehender, linear polarisierter Wellen angebracht, die einen ersten und einen zweiten Eingang (E1,E2) mit im wesentlichen rechteckigem lichtem Querschnitt sowie einen an den Hohlleiter anschließbaren Ausgang (A) hat. In der Polarisationsweiche (8) sind zwei Hohlleiterstrecken (9,10) vorhanden, von denen die eine geradlinig zwischen dem ersten Eingang (E1) und dem Ausgang (A) der Polarisationsweiche (8) verläuft, während die andere mit um 90° gebogenem Verlauf am zweiten Eingang (E2) der Polarisationsweiche (8) beginnend im Verlauf der geradlinigen Hohlleiterstrecke (9) in dieselbe mündet. Die geradlinige Hohlleiterstrecke (9) ist im Eingangsbereich um 90° gedreht, so daß die großen Achsen der beiden in der gleichen Ebene liegenden Eingänge (E1,E2) der Polarisationsweiche (8) rechtwinklig zueinander angeordnet sind.

In the polarization switch (8) there are two waveguide paths (9, 10), one of which runs in a straight line between the first input (E1) and the output (A) of the polarization switch (8), while the other runs with a 90 ° curve at the second input (E2) of the polarization switch (8) starting in the course of the straight waveguide section (9) opens into the same. The straight waveguide section (9) is rotated by 90 ° in the entrance area, so that the major axes of the two entrances (E1, E2) of the polarizing switch (8) lying in the same plane are arranged at right angles to one another.
