Ein am unteren Ende des Auslaßabschnitts 3 angreifendes Vibrationsantriebsmittel 12 in Form einer Pleuelstange versetzt den Auslaßabschnitt 3 in Vibration mit einer entgegen der Drehrichtung (Pfeil 6) schräg abwärts gerichteten Rüttelkomponente 13, so daß der sich an der Mündung des Auslaßabschnitts 3 in einer fließenden Wirbelschicht ausbreitende Tabak sich locker und gleichmäßig zwischen den Stiften 7 der Stiftwalz 4 verteilen kann.
Eventuell über den Zwischenspalt 10 zwischen dem oberen Schachtabschnitt2 und dem unteren Auslaßabschnitt 3 austretende Tabakfasern werden von einer am ortsfesten Schachtabschnitt 2 befestigten Abschirmung 14 aufgefangen und nach unten auf die Stiftwalze 4 geleitet, so daß eine Staubentwicklung und ein Tabakverlust unterbunden werden.
Es hat sich überraschenderweise gezeigt, daß auch eine relativ hohe in Vibration versetzte Tabaksäule in Verbindung mit einem oberseitig bzw. am Einlaßende des ortsfesten Schachtabschnitts 2 und gegebenenfalls zusätzlich am Zwischenspalt 10 offenen Stauschacht 1 ein in der Höhe bzw. in Staurichtung quasi atmendes Tabakvolumen entstehen läßt, welches die Ausbildung einer fließenden Wirbelschicht am Schachtauslaßunterstützt bzw. erst ermöglicht.

  2. A tobacco distributor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the storage chute (1) extends substantially vertically above the pin roller (4) which is preferably provided with pins (7) arranged so as to be inclined in the direction of rotation (6).
  3. A tobacco distributor according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the storage chute (1) is arranged so as to perform substantially horizontal oscillations.
  4. A tobacco distributor according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the storage chute (1; 301) extends substantially radially to the pin roller (4; 304).
  5. A tobacco distributor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the stationary chute portion (2) is provided with a shielding (14) bridging the gap (10) between the chute portions (2, 3).
  6. A tobacco distributor according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the outlet portion (3; 303) is provided with a vibration drive means (12; 312) generating shaking components (13; 313) directed obliquely downwardly counter to the direction of rotation (6; 306) of the pin roller (4; 304).
  7. A tobacco distributor according to Claim 1, characterised in that the outlet portion (303) of the storage chute (301) which is driveable so as to vibrate is secured to a leaf spring mounting (318) set obliquely thereto.
  8. A tobacco distributor according to Claim 6, characterised in that the outlet portion (303) is driveable with a shaking frequency and a shaking stroke in the order of 23 Hz and 6 mm respectively.
