Description

The present invention relates to a method of constructing a wall formed of a succession of juxtaposed formats of sheet metal sheets stretched on a frame or a frame, as well as the wall and to the container or envelope as well obtained.

Silos placed inside buildings are frequently made from a frame or a frame providing the general shape of the silo, frame on which is mounted a covering in sheet metal sheets.

The covering of the silo constitutes the wall interior proper of it, in contact direct with the material or products stored. In general, this covering is fixed on the framework or the frame by conventional means such as screws, rivets or the like, knowing that the inside of the covering must be as smooth as possible. In this method of construction, it is also necessary provide in places most exposed to shocks or in areas of large interval between two elements successive framework, local lateral reinforcements and longitudinal in the form of stiffening beams.

These earlier traditional fashions of construction have many drawbacks especially constructively, and involve a preponderant intervention of manpower in the construction of the silo, an intervention weighed down by the installation of lateral or longitudinal stiffeners.

We also know by the publication of French Patent No. 2,658,171 in the name of the applicant, a suspended envelope silo. This silo is made up of a succession of sheet metal formats hung by their upper edges on the longitudinal elements of the framework, and mounted overlapping one on the others by their lower parts in the manner of siding tiles or sheets.

This type of silo, by hand gains of work that it allows to realize, already represents a improvement over traditional elevators. In Indeed, it is enough to lay overlapping the formats of sheet metal whose upper edges have been previously shaped to hang on the frame elements. This results in a simple and rapid installation which can be entrusted to unskilled labor.

This type of silo can still be improved in some of its constructive aspects.

One of these aspects concerns the edges of the sheet metal sheets which constitute discontinuities of the inside surface of the silo by edges transverse. The products housed in the silo, directly in contact with these discontinuities, can depending on their nature, being damaged or possibly being retained by these edges or in the vicinity thereof. These discontinuities on the inside of the silo also have the disadvantage of marking the products stored when these are made in one flexible material sufficiently deformable. This problem thus occurs frequently during storage for example plastic bottles which, for at least some of them often come out of the silo marked with unsightly streaks or lines resulting from their contact and friction with the edges of the leaves of sheet metal. This drawback representing a defect consumer-friendly enough serious so that this type of silo is not retained by certain producers of beverages sold in transparent plastic bottles.

The second aspect relates to the possible formation of linear passages between two formats of successive sheets overlapping, and more generally at the watertightness of such constructive assemblies which is frequently insufficient due to numerous possibilities for air intake and dust. So, this type of silo turns out to be inappropriate storage of bulk materials, especially materials food.

The object of the present invention is to remedy to these drawbacks and proposes a method for this purpose for the constitution of a wall mounted on a frame or framework, for example the wall of a silo container or more generally the envelope of a any volume from the juxtaposition of successive formats of sheet metal sheets.

The invention relates to all walls made of sheet metal, in particular sheet steel stainless, plastic or other material or material. We can cite for this purpose the walls of partition, the door walls, the walls of protection and insulation walls, but also roof walls, non-planar walls, claddings, siding, shielding or other coverings or protections.

In accordance with the present process, and according to its main characteristic, we conform by folding the longitudinal edges of each sheet of sheet metal according to a reception and setting profile, we realize at the moment of the construction of the frame a straight channel of receiving the longitudinal edges of each sheet, and we form in this channel, on both sides of it and at longitudinal intervals along the entire length sheets, support zones on which the two longitudinal edges opposite two sheets adjacent are forced laterally against each other by pushing means, bringing tension lateral to the sheet metal sheets, these thrust means retracting between an active position for maintaining leaves, and a cleared position inoperative in which said edges of the sheets are no longer joined. Provision is also made where necessary for means providing longitudinal tension.

The present invention also relates to a wall or an outer envelope obtained by placing using the above process, wall or envelope made up of formats juxtaposed with sheet metal sheets covering a framework or a formed frame horizontal or vertical elements assembled between them, characterized in that the longitudinal edges of each sheet of sheet metal is shaped into structures receiving and wedging, in that the framework has straight channels for receiving edges longitudinal facing two adjacent sheets, the reception channels comprising zones of support by lateral support one against the other of the two opposite edges under the effect of antagonistic means and erasable by push, and in that the edges longitudinal are forced and laterally plated one against the other by these means.

Longitudinal tensioning means are in additionally provided for thin sheets.

The present invention also relates to a more elaborate or extended object or product such as example a silo and more generally a container, a shelter, building or other construction frame and cover.

According to one of its advantages, the present invention avoids the presence of edges transverse in particular projecting from the surface inside the silo, and therefore the corresponding risks of restraint and marking of the products contained in the silo.

D'autres avantages sont à mentionner :

  • la tôle n'est ni percée ni interrompue brusquement. La jonction des bords s'effectue dans le même plan que celui de la tôle ;
  • l'absence totale de joints évite la contamination bactériologique ;
  • dans le cas d'un silo, l'étanchéité relative permet de viser de nombreuses applications, notamment les silos pressurisés ;
  • l'étanchéité relative peut être renforcée par des bords longitudinaux à formes encastrables simples ou multiples ;
  • la tension latérale permanente de la tôle associée le cas échéant à une tension longitudinale assure une rigidité suffisante et par conséquent la possibilité d'utiliser des feuilles de tôle de moindre épaisseur et d'éviter l'emploi de rigidificateurs rapportés, soudés par points ou vissés ;
Other advantages are worth mentioning:
  • the sheet is neither pierced nor abruptly interrupted. The edges are joined in the same plane as that of the sheet metal;
  • the total absence of joints avoids bacteriological contamination;
  • in the case of a silo, the relative tightness makes it possible to target numerous applications, in particular pressurized silos;
  • the relative tightness can be reinforced by longitudinal edges with simple or multiple recessed shapes;
  • the permanent lateral tension of the sheet associated with a longitudinal tension if necessary ensures sufficient rigidity and therefore the possibility of using sheets of thin sheet metal and avoiding the use of added stiffeners, spot welded or screwed ;

But the invention finds its full value in significant reduction in the cost of labor necessary for the construction of a wall, an envelope or a set formed from walls for example but not limited to a silo by duration reduced mounting and the possibility of using a unskilled labor.

It also improves substantially airtightness of the assemblies thus constituted by avoiding the overlapping sheet metal sheet formats.

The present invention relates so general to a silo formed from sheet metal sheets juxtaposed and immobilized on a frame or exterior frame and its construction process. To better understand this invention, we will describe first the constitution of a wall and this wall to smooth inside from a frame exterior and sheet metal sheets mounted juxtaposed and immobilized by pinching on this frame in several places over their entire height with tension lateral supplemented if necessary by tension longitudinal.

We will start the description with that of a base or elementary wall not finished in height. he is obvious that this elementary wall will repeat itself laterally to form the lateral surface of the silo and its cover.

A framework intended for example for constitute the frame 1 of a silo or other volume closed storage is constructed from spars such as 2 and 3 and vertical profiles or posts of framework such as 4 joined together by welding or assembled by mechanical means.

These assembled profiles are used to support adjacent formats of juxtaposed sheet metal sheets 5, 6 generally very long.

Are provided in the frame at intervals horizontal determined by the width of the sheet, vertical straight receiving channels such as 7 (Figure 4) and in these channels, at vertical intervals, depending on the stiffness to be obtained, the zones holding crosses such as 8 of two sheets of adjacent sheets 5.6. In these areas of the framework, two adjacent sheets of sheet 5.6 having homologous longitudinal edges 9.10 are applied one against the other by said longitudinal edges arranged opposite, and held in this position one edge pressed against the other by opposing forces from mobile transverse antagonistic means thrust 11, 12.

For this purpose, the longitudinal edges 9 and 10 next to two adjacent sheets of sheet metal are shaped according to homologous receiving shapes and juxtaposed 13 and 14 which will allow their setting-immobilization by the pushing means 11 and 12 acting as an antagonistic pushback.

These longitudinal edges 9,10 can be conformed in different ways as we will see in detail later. For the variant preferred of the invention, these receptor forms 13 and 14 are in the form of longitudinal wings such as 15 each formed of a support plane 16 obtained by square bending of the edge of the sheet followed a timing return 17 also obtained by folding square, but perpendicular to the support plane.

These longitudinal edges suitably conformed cooperate in each transverse area of holding 8 with the pushing means 11 and 12 produced according to the preferred variant in the form of means erasable immobilizers for example by retraction and mounted as a push back to the receiving form 13 or 14 which surrounds their front end.

There are at the level of each zone transverse holding 8 of two longitudinal edges 9 and 10 to be joined by pinch support, two moving parts 18 and 19 for holding means thrust 11 and 12 mounted in elastic thrust return towards each other.

More particularly, these holding zones 8 are provided in and along each vertical channel reception whose bottom is delimited by a profile vertical 4. This channel 7 forms a housing for both longitudinal edges 9 and 10 opposite two sheets adjacent 5 and 6. The transverse holding zones 8 are provided at vertical intervals and are equipped each of one of the two pushing means 11 or 12 under the shape of two locks arranged opposite one of the other whose moving parts 18 and 19 filling the function of erasable bolts, are mounted as a reminder of pushed towards each other to force plans support 16 of the two adjacent longitudinal edges at contact one against the other and thus provide a relative minimum tightness.

Figure 10 illustrates with arrows the air passage between the contiguous edges allowing thus achieving the necessary air outlets in the case of a container, for example, a pressurized silo.

This relative tightness can be improved conforming the support planes 16 according to shapes complementary by punching, profiling or any other hot or hot metal deformation technique cold. They can be complementary "U" shapes (figure 14) in "V" (figure 15) or in "C" lying single (figure 16) or double (figure 17) or other form adapted by simplification or duplication or multiplication of the indicated forms or any other appropriate form.

In the illustrated embodiment, the pieces 18.19 holding mobiles each play the role of a latch bolt without movement blocking.

La course du pêne est de préférence limitée en état d'extension du ressort par une butée latérale (non représentée).Each bolt constituting a moving part 18 or 19 is, for example, of general shape parallelepipedic with a front of push 20 of different shapes, for example straight and flat with or without recess 21 or beveled 22 or with a flat 23 for example central or any other suitable form as shown in Figures 11 to 13. The face rear of these thrust pieces is extended by a tail 24 in the form of a rod on which is threaded a coil spring 25 blocked on one side by the rear edge 26 of the bolt and of the other by a lug fixing-holding 27 fixed to the body of the spar adjacent 2 or 3 framework. The retaining tab 27 is through for the rod 24 which protrudes from its passage, even in the fully extended position. The race of the bolt is preferably limited in the extended state of the spring by a lateral stop (not shown).

According to the variant shown, each bolt is guided in translation by three walls successive adjacent adjacent beam 2,3 of framing delimiting with the adjacent vertical profile an opening 28 for the exit of the bolt.

Of course, other peculiarities within the reach of those skilled in the art can be imagined for the means of thrust, for the bolt, for its housing for the realization of opening 28 for passage or for making holding zones.

Cette figure montre également la possible intromission d'une canule 30 de nettoyage entre les deux bords préalablement écartés à l'aide d'un outil 31 par exemple à extrémité plate 32 (figure 8).Figure 9 shows schematically by arrows and broken lines dashed light 29 sheets when they are not stretched laterally, i.e. when the edges adjacent longitudinal 9 and 10 are not contiguous. This figure also shows the possible intromission a cleaning cannula 30 between the two edges previously removed using a tool 31 by example with flat end 32 (FIG. 8).

The method of mounting a wall or the like on the one hand consists of forming and shaping edges longitudinal in sheet metal format as sheets 5,6 whose length is preferably the height of the final object and secondly to build a frame or a frame 1 from longitudinal members 2,3 and vertical sections 4, while providing longitudinal and transverse intervals of the zones of holding 8 along the reception channels 7 forming a space for the longitudinal edges 9.10 of the sheets sheet metal, holding zones 8 in which the edges next to the sheet metal sheets are applied one against each other by opposing support forces both directed towards the edge support plane corresponding and to each other by means of thrust 11.12.

According to the preferred variant, these forces are elastic restoring forces in a position of push-contact of the longitudinal edges 9.10 of each sheet metal 5.6 against each other.

More particularly, we conform the edges 9.10 longitudinal sheets of sheet metal by folding square according to a support plane 16 followed by a return 17 also for wedging by square bending. This shape receiver is mounted on each moving part 18.19 of pushing means 11,12, then ascended by the same way the adjacent receiving shape on the moving part opposite. These opposite elastic forces push the moving parts against each other by pressing the back on the adjacent edges of the sheet metal sheets 5.6.

The transverse maintenance of each sheet of sheet metal is ensured thus by pinch-support of an edge 9 on the other 10 at regular intervals or not, on its entire length, but close enough to obtain by a lateral tension the holding effect and stiffening sought.

If necessary, we generate by means specific not shown a tensile force which provides longitudinal tension which, associated with lateral tension, allows to give thin sheets the necessary rigidity.

This technique allows the use of thinner sheet metal because the lateral tension from pushing efforts in areas of support provides sufficient rigidity for the content maintenance for example of a silo or resist any other thrust on a wall in use normal.

We must also mention, the extraordinary speed and ease of assembly, but also dislocation or loosening of the edges of the leaves of sheet metal. Just insert an instrument or tool 31 at the flat end 32 or a flat rod, or the end of a screwdriver in the narrow slot existing between two successive sheets 5.6 for, after a quarter turn, manage to spread enough the contiguous edges to then pass the beak or the spray, sprinkler or diffusion nozzle 30 a cleaning and / or disinfection device.

The method according to the invention gives a exceptional speed of assembly-disassembly of a wall or the like capable of being executed by personnel non qualified. The total cost of labor for the construction of a wall or the like is reduced to a much lower amount by reducing the rate hours and the total time required for assembly.

On décrira maintenant plus particulièrement un conteneur du type silo constituant un exemple type d'application de l'invention en se référant aux figures 18, 19 et 20.We will now describe more particularly a silo type container constituting a typical example of application of the invention with reference to the figures 18, 19 and 20.

As can be seen in these figures, the silo has a lateral surface 33 which is made up of longitudinal walls 34 and walls 35 transverse each formed of a succession side in juxtaposition of sheet metal sheets whose longitudinal edges are shaped according to the shapes indicated above.

These sheets are juxtaposed and assembled between them against the studs of framework or frame by wedging-immobilization and pinch support from one edge to the other using the pushing means 11 and 12 antagonists forming two opposite locks.

These sheet metal sheets are joined together at the corners by means of corner posts such than 36.

This constitution is the current one for walls forming the lateral surface 33, but also the constitution of the bottom 37 and upper structure of cover 38 which we will now examine.

Ce profilé de bordure 43 est solidarisé au longeron supérieur 40 adjacent de la structure supérieure de couverture 38 apparaissant sur les figures 18 et 19.It is made up of a network 39 of spars upper 40 and upper sleepers 41 forming a horizontal frame on which is mounted in underside the juxtaposition of sheet metal sheets with edges longitudinal folds held by the provided latches for side surface walls. This network 39 is connected to the upper part of the walls 34 and 35 of lateral surface as follows. Singing upper 42 of each side surface wall is formed by the succession of the upper faces of horizontal profiles and ends of posts frame delimiting between them the reception channels 7. The upper edges 42 of the longitudinal walls 34 of lateral surface are closed by a profile in flat tube 43 arranged flat also forming a mechanical and cleanliness border. This border profile 43 is secured to the adjacent upper beam 40 of the upper cover structure 38 appearing in Figures 18 and 19.

Cette structure est symétrique par rapport au poteau d'angle 36.The junction connection at the edge of two consecutive side surface walls is realized as shown in figure 21 around a corner post 36 flanked on each of its side side surfaces inside by vertical tubular support profiles 44 and 45 whose length, laid flat, is less alongside the corner post 36 so as to spare each a space 46 adapted for the bracing support of the edge longitudinal 9 or 10 of each sheet side wall end. This structure is symmetrical about the corner post 36.

The junctions of connection of this bottom is done so different depending on whether it is a horizontal background (Figure 22) or an inclined bottom (Figure 23).

In the case of a bottom with a horizontal wall 47, the connection of the bottom 37 with a profile of the lower border 49 is carried out identically to connection with corner post 36 with pinch from the lower edge of the adjacent vertical sheet by the longitudinal edge 9.10 of the backsheet against the edge profile.

A tubular profile 45 saves space 46 as in the case of connection on corner post 36.

The connection in the case of an inclined bottom 48 is more complex. The border lower 49 is produced by two sections 50 and 51 forming an inverted L-shaped section. The rear wall 48 inclined is wedged against the profile vertical 51 of the lower border 49 using a annex end support 52 of the angle angle type open secured to the edge profile 49 of the wall background. Sheet metal sheets of the side wall adjacent and from the inclined bottom wall 48 come in sealing contact by their ends. We note for example for the wall sheet lateral one end 53 folded square and for the sheet of the bottom wall one end protruding from cantilevered.

We have described above a container of the type silo, of conventional shape with horizontal bottom or inclined. It is understood that various other forms and other types of containers are possible in using the same construction technique and constitution.

Additionally, but only in the event of imperative need, the invention provides a means additional to create tension sheet metal sheets. This need is felt more particularly in the case of sheets thinner.

This means of establishing a force longitudinal tension can materialize in different embodiments.

This tensioning or stiffening exists in the case of a partition wall 54 of the silo shown in Figure 20. This partition wall 54 is formed by the lateral succession of several sheet metal sheets 55.56 with longitudinal edges 57.58 folded and nested one inside the other so as to form a flat vertical longitudinal housing 59 occupied by a soul or a metallic fur 60 in the form of a flat iron performing the function of stiffener or stiffener.

Each stiffener 60 causes the setting tension of the sheet metal sheet by means of traction. This traction means can be produced for example under the form of threaded pull rods 61 which each pass through a connecting support 62 bringing together at intervals the two beams 63 and 64 of a beam transverse arranged above the partition dividing cross 54. The lower end of each threaded rod is secured at the end upper of each stiffener 60. On the body of the threaded rod is provided with a nut-washer assembly 65 which is supported on the upper face of the support transverse link 62 crossed by the threaded rod 61 to give birth to a vertical effort of setting tension adjustable by the position of the nut.

This tension is transmitted to the sheet of adjacent sheet because each stiffener 60 is immobilized relative to it by means of two bolts or screws 66.67 with milled end.

This means of tensioning associated with each stiffener 60 is shown in the case of a wall of separation 54. It is understood that it can be also used for the longitudinal walls 34 and transverse 35 of lateral surface of the silo.

The connection of the partition wall 54 with the side surface is done in the way next.

The extra thickness represented by the folded fold 69 of the edge vertical of the sheet 55 is housed between two framework posts 4 arranged facing each other. The sheet of end plate 55 of the partition wall 54 pass between the two opposite longitudinal edges 9 and 10 of two adjacent sheet metal sheets of lateral surface and is held by pinch-immobilization between these edges following the antagonistic forces coming from means of pushing. Wall retention is improved by the presence of an oblique lower border 70 formed of two parallel tubular sections 71 and 72 between which the sheet is pinched by means for tightening and tightening, for example bolts (not shown).

The constitution and edification process of a silo according to the invention consists on the one hand in build from horizontal beams 2,3 and frame posts 4 a frame or a frame outside 1 respecting the distances between ends of the horizontal beams to create receiving channels 7 intended to form a housing for the longitudinal edges 9.10 of the sheet metal sheets and on the other hand to put the locks on the means of push 11 and 12 and to put up the sheets of sheet metal. The length of these is chosen at least equal to the height of the side surface walls.

Then we make the connections to the level of corner posts 36 and connections between the side surface walls and the back wall.

If a higher structure of cover, we proceed with the installation of the border upper perimeter by a flat tubular profile above the upper edge 42 of the side walls 34. We then build the structure cover 38 in the same way as the side surface walls and put the sheets of sheet metal then they are immobilized using the locks thrust.

If necessary, install a partition 54 without vertical posts, but using stiffeners 60 connected to an upper beam 63.64 by a means of tensioning the sheet metal sheets.

Ces forces élastiques contraires poussent les pièces mobiles l'une contre l'autre en appuyant par l'arrière sur les bords adjacents des feuilles de tôle 5,6.Regarding sheet metal sheets, we conforms to the longitudinal edges 9.10 of these by square folding according to a support plane 16 followed by a back 17 also wedging by folding angle. This receiving form is mounted on each piece mobile 18.19 locks, then mounted in the same way way the adjacent receiving shape on the moving part opposite.

As indicated, if necessary, we generate by specific means including an example applied to a partition was shown a force of traction providing longitudinal tension which, associated with lateral tension, allows to give thin sheets the necessary rigidity.

This technique allows the use of thinner sheet metal because the lateral tension from the pushing efforts of the locks in the holding zones provides sufficient rigidity to maintaining the content of the silo.

We must also mention, the extraordinary quick and easy assembly of locks locations provided on the structural elements or of external framework but also the simplicity of installation sheet metal sheets. Disassembly or removal are just as simple and fast. To proceed to the dislocation or to loosening of the edges of the sheet metal sheets, just insert an instrument or a tool 31 with a flat end 32 or a flat rod, or the end of a screwdriver or any other instrument or suitable element in the narrow slot between two successive sheets 5,6 for, after a quarter of turn, manage to spread the contiguous edges sufficiently to then pass the spray nozzle or nozzle, spray or diffusion device 30 cleaning and / or disinfection.

The method according to the invention gives a exceptional speed of assembly-disassembly of a silo can be performed by unqualified personnel. The total cost of labor for building and assembly of the silo is significantly reduced by the gain in duration and possible use of non-staff qualified.

In addition, technical assistance to mounting may be limited to a very detailed notice.
