Abstract

The wooden silo is composed of multi-layer glued wooden boards. The mantle (4) is of mantle segments (9) forming a polygon shape, to carry outer longitudinal projecting ribs (10) along the mantle height to define the outer shrouding cylinder and to take the clamping rings (11). The outlet funnel (6) follows the polygon shape of the silo mantle (4) structure as a pyramid, also of wooden boards, with outer ribs to take the clamping rings.

Description

The invention relates to a silo made of wood, in particular for storage of free-flowing salt, with a coat that is made of prefabricated, even is distributed over the circumference distributed shell segments Outside are surrounded by tension rings distributed over the jacket height:

It is known for the storage of free-flowing road salt (DE 2 145 210 A), To use silos made of wood, the one stored on supports, with trucks have a cylindrical shell that can be driven under, to which a coaxial Outlet funnel connects as floor. The jacket is like the outlet funnel put together individual wooden planks that were distributed over the height Clamping rings are enclosed, so that the jacket load on these clamping rings or the loading of the funnel can be absorbed by the filling material can. A disadvantage of such a known silo construction is above all that the casing and the discharge funnel from a large number of individual planks on site must be put together and that the tightness of the jacket only then is given when the individual wooden planks are close together via the clamping rings be pressed, which in particular with the shrinkage behavior of wooden planks after emptying the silo, complex re-tensioning of the clamping rings requires.

In order to simplify the construction of such a wooden silo, it has already been proposed (EP 0 075 285 A1), the wooden silo made of individual casing segments build up, which are held together with the help of appropriate clamping rings become. Since the jacket segments forming a peripheral section of a circular cylinder in turn are composed of single planks, can advantages over the assembly of the silo on site Single-pile composite silos can be achieved, but not in terms of the tightness of the silo, which depends on the shrinkage behavior of the wooden planks, see above that in turn a complex retensioning of the clamping rings is required. In order to ensure that the clamping rings are re-tensioned independently, the Tension rings are provided with tension springs, but limit these tension springs inevitably the resilience of the clamping rings.

After all, wooden silos with a coat in the shape of a polygonal, regular Prism known (US 5 383 313 A). These wooden silos have a wooden frame on which the wooden wall panels are attached. A disadvantage of This well-known wooden silos is mainly that the wooden wall panels must have sufficient inherent strength to withstand the wall loads the frame to be able to remove what the use of such constructions on Small silos limited.

The invention is therefore based on the object, a silo made of wood, in particular for the storage of free-flowing salt, of the type described above to design that it can not only be built easily and high Withstands loads, but also ensures permanent tightness.

The invention solves this problem in that the multi-layer glued Wooden panels that form the cladding of a polygonal prism Jacket segments protruding outwards in the direction of the jacket height wear extending ribs that delimit an outer envelope cylinder, on which attack the clamping rings.

As a result of this measure, the wall loads despite flat jacket segments be removed on the clamping rings via the outwardly projecting ribs can, in terms of load transfer, similar advantages as with Single-planked wooden silos can be used without the disadvantages to have to accept such single planks. Because of the training the shell segments are made of multi-layer glued wooden panels a shrinkage behavior of the jacket segments which impairs the tightness of the jacket effectively avoided even after a long silo emptying. The flat jacket segments can therefore be easily sealed together connected and held together via the clamping rings without the Need to tighten the tension rings regularly. The provision of flat panels as shell segments offers simple design relationships that also include advantageous assembly of the silo jacket from the individual segments allowed. The protruding over the jacket segments, over the jacket height extending ribs, which are enclosed by the tension rings also a drainage of rainwater unimpeded by the tension rings sure, which has a positive effect on the weather resistance of the silos.

If such a wooden silo is to be provided with an outlet funnel, it is recommended itself, the outlet funnel in the form of an adjoining the prism shape of the jacket Form pyramid, the wooden panels made of multi-layer glued existing side walls projecting outwards and delimiting an envelope cone Wear ribs on which clamping rings spanning the discharge funnel engage. This results in similarly favorable areas in the area of the discharge funnel Construction conditions like in the jacket area, because the loads of the Sidewalls pyramid are also taken up by tension rings to which the wall loads project beyond those protruding from the side walls Ribs are transmitted.

Finally, particularly favorable construction conditions result from that also in the area of the corner edges of the jacket or the discharge funnel ribs projecting outwards and enclosed by the clamping rings become. About these corner ribs can namely when tightening the clamping rings an additional closing pressure is exerted on the corner edges of the silo What is more, there is a possible gap between the abutting Wall parts are covered by the corner ribs.

According to the illustrated embodiment, the silo rests on supports 1 a foundation of concrete bases 2 on which the weight of the silo is removed. The supports 1 carry a support ring 3 for the jacket 4, which is covered at the top by a roof 5 and an outlet funnel as the bottom 6 with a closable outlet opening 7. For support of the discharge funnel 6 serve struts 8 arranged between the supports 1. There is a passage between the supports 1 and the struts 8 for Trucks to these trucks via the discharge funnel 6 with the Fill the silo.

The jacket 4 of the silo consists of prefabricated jacket segments 9, like this 2 can be seen in particular. These jacket segments 9 consist of multi-layer glued wooden panels that form an octagonal Prism are composed. Are on the outside of the shell segments 9 Continuous ribs 10 are provided over the jacket height, which have an outer Limit the envelope cylinder and be surrounded by clamping rings 11. This Tension rings 11 also engage in the area of the corner edges of the jacket ribs 12 projecting outside so that the loads on the jacket segments 9 removed by the filling material via the ribs 10 and 12 on the clamping rings 11 and can be advantageously taken up by them.

The outlet funnel 6 is designed in the form of an eight-sided pyramid, the Side walls 13 also made of multi-layer glued wooden panels are in turn provided on the outside with protruding ribs 14, which by Clamping rings 15 are enclosed. To better hold the clamping rings 15, the ribs 14 form corresponding recesses 16, which in particular 3 can be seen.

Since both the jacket 4 and the discharge funnel 6 of the silo are made of flat, multi-layer glued wooden panels can be assembled in segments can, the silo can be made from comparatively few prefabricated individual parts be built on site. The one hand the jacket segments 9 and the other the side walls 13 of the discharge funnel 6 enclosing clamping rings 11 and 15 can be tensioned via turnbuckles 17 (Fig. 2) so that a tight connection between the shell segments 9 or between the side walls 13 of the discharge funnel 6 is ensured. Because glued several times Wood panels do not show shrinkage behavior that jeopardizes the tightness of the silo, there is no need to retension the clamping rings 11 and 15 once the required tightness is reached. The load transfer from the jacket segments 9 onto the clamping rings 11 or from the side walls 13 of the discharge funnel 6 over the ribs 14 on the clamping rings 15 allows the use comparatively thin wood plywood, so that there are overall particularly advantageous construction conditions to adjust. In this context, in addition to take into account that by the ribs 10, 12 and 14 at a distance from the Shell segments 9 and the side walls 13 held clamping rings 11 and 15 allow an unimpeded outflow of rainwater, which is advantageous Requirements for good weather resistance.
