Kontaktelement mit einem Anschluß für Litzenleiter, insbesondere Kontaktelement für hohe Ströme, das mit einem Anschlußende (3) versehen ist, wobei das Anschlußende eine Querbohrung (4) aufweist, in die der Litzenleiter (5) einschiebbar ist, und wobei eine senkrecht zur Querbohrung angeordnete Gewindebohrung (9) vorgesehen ist, die bis in die Querbohrung reicht, und eine mit einer Kegelspitze (11) versehene Klemmschraube (10) in die Gewindebohrung einschraubbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Kontaktelement aus einem einstückigen, zylindrischen Grundkörper (1) aus elektrisch leitfähigem Material besteht, dessen eines Ende als Steckende (2) und dessen anderes Ende als Leiteranschlußende (3) ausgebildet ist, daß die Querbohrung (4) im Leiteranschlußende (3) vorgesehen ist, und als Stufenbohrung ausgebildet ist, wobei die Leitereinführseite (6) der Bohrung den geringeren Durchmesser aufweist, daß die Gewindebohrung (9), axial im Grundkörper (1) verlaufend, vom Steckende (2) ausgeht, und daß die Klemmschraube (10) durch das Steckende hindurch betätigbar ist.
