Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for fastening an object, in particular a data carrier plate to a surface, in particular a print medium.
- CD-ROMs or other disks are understood that store digital data changeable or immutable; but especially so-called compact discs.
- data carriers are often inserted in magazines or books in order to provide the user with additional information that he can read or even process with a special player.
- the invention is also applicable to perfume bottles, cream samples, bound inserts, material samples and other items.
- Print media are z. As books, booklets, folders, inserts or similar information carriers made of paper, foil or similar materials, in exceptional cases, the information carrier can also be unprinted.
- Document US-A-4 084 696 discloses a method of releasably securing an article to a bound print medium.
- One embodiment shows in one figure a flat paper blank with two panels and a closure area prior to folding.
- the closure area has glue along its inner surface which cooperates with the outer surface of the one panel after being folded around a line.
- the product to be wrapped in the envelope is placed on a panel between strips of glue.
- the insert After folding, the insert has a sealed, folded envelope which is closed at one side by a tab and at its ends by glued sections. Thereafter, the insert is integrated over a binding area in a print medium.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a method of the type described above to objects such.
- the data carrier plate is placed in a first method step on a surface, such as. On a paper or board and attached to it.
- This process step is technically far easier to implement than the insertion of a disk drive into a bag, since it is understandably easier to place a disk drive with its flat side on a surface than to introduce with high precision in a flexible bag.
- the article for attachment at least partially coated with a layer, in particular a film, and the layer attached to the surface.
- This film serves on the one hand to protect the disk drive.
- the foil also covers at least part of the data carrier plate and serves to secure the data carrier plate to the surface.
- a film is also suitable to increase the appearance of value.
- the surface on which the article is attached may be bonded to a print medium, such as a book or booklet.
- a print medium such as a book or booklet.
- the surface is placed between the pages of the book or booklet so that it is incorporated into the book or booklet during the binding process.
- binding the book or booklet thus no additional means for positioning and sticking of small bags are needed, but the invention.
- Surface is bound in the book or notebook like a normal book page.
- the mentioned method steps can be inexpensively, rapidly and in high quantities with high precision feasible with known machines.
- the number of units processed per unit time can be increased and, on the other hand, known simple machines can be used.
- the fastening means are chosen so that a sufficient attachment is achieved solely by the juxtaposition or pressing together of an object covering layer and the surface.
- the surface has a depression in or onto which the object can be placed. This facilitates, for example, at least partially coating the object with a layer or foil.
- a simple attachment z As a disk drive on the surface is also possible through the use of an adhesive layer.
- Such an adhesive device is known and widely used.
- the attachment is achieved in that the fastening means has a fixed to the surface of the object at least partially covering layer.
- a layer is preferably a film which on the one hand enables the connection of the data carrier plate to the surface and on the other hand increases the value appearance of the device.
- a simple attachment is thereby ensures that the layer is at least partially, preferably at the point where it is attached to the surface, self-adhesive.
- the film is stretchable by heating, for example, or has a structure that allows the layer to deform when placed on the object or even to conform to the shape of the article.
- a preferred embodiment of the layer provides that it has holes or is permeable to gas in order to hold with its arranged on one side of a suction element arranged on its other side object to the layer. This makes it possible to first grasp the film with a suction head and then to grasp a further object with the same suction head holding the film, in order subsequently to place it on a surface together with the film.
- several luftdruchtelle elements can be held as a layer structure of the same suction head and positioned together in one place.
- a further suction head can also be passed through the layer and / or the object in order to detect further objects on the side opposite the suction head.
- the holes in the layer or its gas permeability thus allow gripping the layer and at least one other object.
- the parts can be gripped and deposited simultaneously or one after the other.
- the surface has a binding area.
- the fastener allows easy attachment z.
- the binding area is designed so that the surface with known binding devices in a book or a booklet is einbindbar.
- the binding area must be formed so that the spine can be passed through the area and the binding area must be dimensioned so as to avoid tearing of the area during conventional handling of the booklet.
- the binding area must be designed with regard to flexibility and material properties in such a way that impairment of the usual binding process is avoided.
- the area or at least the binding area is made of paper or cardboard. Since Buchbinder or the like with the processing of paper, cardboard, foils Material are familiar, is just the use of these materials for the invention. Purpose particularly suitable. Paper or cardboard is also easy to print on, easy to punch, and recyclable together with the book or notebook.
- a particular embodiment of the invention provides that the binding compound divides the area into two parts. It is possible to fix on a part of the surface of the disk drive and provide the other part of the surface with more information or train as a removable card.
- An embodiment of the invention. Device provides that the surface is a perforation z. B. between fastener and binding area. Such a perforation allows the removal z. B. a disk drive from the book along with a portion of the surface, which may contain, for example, additional information about the disk drive.
- the perforation can also essentially follow the outline of the object. This makes it possible, for. B. also separate a non-detachably connected to the surface data carrier disk and play the disk drive on a player without removing the part of the surface. The area then serves as a print on the compact disk.
- the perforation in the surface allows it to be removed from the packaging formed by the layer and the surface.
- a perforation may also be provided in the layer.
- FIG. 1 illustrated booklet 1 consists essentially of a cover 2 and bound by means of a saddle stitch pages 3, of which only three are shown in the drawing.
- a surface 4 is incorporated, which consists of a paper which has approximately the strength of the paper of the cover page 2.
- the surface 4 lies between the cover 2 and the sides 3, ie a part 4a lies between the front sheet 5 of the cover 2 and a part 4b of the surface 4 lies between the sides 3 and the rear sheet 6 of the cover 2.
- the integrated in the booklet 1 area 4 is in Fig. 2 again drawn out separately. It can be clearly seen that the parts 4a and 4b of the surface 4 are separated from each other by a binding region 7. At least this binding region 7 must have material properties which allow the surface 4 to be incorporated into the booklet 1.
- a data carrier plate 8 is placed, which is releasably secured to the surface 4 with a fastening means 9.
- a perforation 10 extending in the direction of the binding area is provided on the part 4 a of the surface 4, which makes it easier to remove the part 4 a of the surface 4 together with the data carrier plate 8 from the booklet 1.
- the other side 4b of the surface 4 has a detachable by means of a perforation 11 part 12, which is formed as a postcard.
- the entire surface 4 has about the strength of a postcard. This allows a stable attachment of the data carrier plate 8 on the surface 4, a simple integration of the surface 4 in the booklet 1 and also the use of a portion of the surface 4 as detachable reply card.
- FIG. 3 shows the folded booklet 1 with integrated surface 4, on which the data carrier plate 8 is attached.
- a punched-13 is provided which allows a view of the disk drive 8.
- the attachment of the data carrier plate 8 on the surface 4 is in FIG. 4 shown here and is easy to see how the fastener 9 engages as a clip through the hole in the disk drive 8.

Description

Fig. 2 noch einmal separiert herausgezeichnet.
- In
- In
- In
