Description

The invention relates to a tensioning machine for a textile Fabric panel with two at the end of the machine's infeed area vertical axes pivoted against each other like scissors Chain tracks for endless, in the web entry and exit deflected chains, which holding means for grasping the edges of the fabric have control and drive means for adaptation the respective distance between the swiveling ends or cheeks of the chain conveyor at the entrance of the entry field to the measured width of the incoming Fabric panel are provided and the pivoting Chain track ends by means of carrying wheels on a horizontal support are movably mounted.

The infeed area of one also known in practice as a stenter Tensioning machine of this type is described in DE 34 17 030 C2 described. In the drawing of DE 22 37 014 B2 (this document forms the preamble of claim 1) it is clear like a swiveling chain track end with the help of a Carrying the wheel on a horizontal support movable is.

Around the chain guide rails of the respective textile web width to adapt and around these chain guide rails to be able to steer left or right, depending on which one is irregular Paths that the edge of the fabric takes are adjustment devices intended. These adjustment devices must be in in many cases absorb greater forces when the web between the swiveling chain track ends, which can also be described as cheeks based on an actual input width a given starting width is to be drawn. In addition, should the mutual distance between the cheeks as free of play as possible Adjusted width of the currently incoming part of the fabric become. For this reason, the cheeks are adjusted elaborate rack and pinion drives or chain drives (DE-AS 18 07 389).

The transverse forces to be controlled by the cheek drives, the is the web tension transverse to the direction of transport depending on the type of fabric to be treated. Panels of fabric with only little transverse stability, e.g. Knitwear with low transverse forces through the stenter or through the Spanfeld headed. Greater forces are required when the Goods from an actual entrance width to a given one Starting width is to be drawn.

There are textile factories that are constantly using very little fabric Lateral stability, e.g. Knitted fabric or elastic woven fabric, Process in the stenter. Sheets of this type can or have to go through the clamping frame with the low transverse forces be directed. The low lateral forces are often sufficient spread out the respective path in one level. The for in contrast, known relatively strong transverse stresses Drives, e.g. according to DE-AS 18 07 389 mentioned above, could actually be replaced by weaker drives if only the lower transverse forces have to be applied. In practice however, one usually takes the same drives for transverse adjustment the cheeks, regardless of what shear forces when operating to be exercised on the fabric to be processed. Here likes simplified warehousing and the pursuit of series production play a role. It is crucial, however, that the Cheeks even if they only have to transmit low lateral forces, precisely and without play to the respective width of the instant incoming fabric or on the course of the edges of the Fabric should be adjusted.

The invention has for its object a transverse guide for to create the swiveling chain track ends or cheeks, the it allows the single-needle attached to the respective cheek or clutching means (holding means for grasping the edges of the fabric web) more or less exactly and practically without delay random path of the edge of the incoming fabric to follow without the elaborately trained and designed cross drives for the cheeks of known tenter frames would be required.

The solution according to the invention exists for the aforementioned Tensioning machine in which the swiveling chain track ends or Cheeks movable on a horizontal support using carrying wheels be stored in that at least one carrying wheel as driven friction wheel is formed and that this carrying wheel a drive motor is directly assigned. Preferably at least the driven wheel with solid rubber or the same material with high in relation to the carrier Friction coefficient frosted. If two per chain track or cheek Carrier wheels are used, it is sufficient according to another invention, onto the axle of one of the carrying wheels or friction wheels Switch engine.

The object is therefore already achieved in that the invention the carrying wheels as friction wheels, preferably with solid rubber tires, be trained and if one of the friction wheels has a drive motor, preferably on the friction wheel axis, directly assigned becomes. This measure alone surprisingly succeeds the cheek or the cheek associated with the cheek Single needle or clutching means of those running in the chain track Always bring the chain to the point at which there is no delay the edge to be detected of the incoming - particularly light - Goods web arrives immediately. With such a friction wheel drive can not have large transverse forces on the fabric can be exercised, so the fabric can be done with the help of such stored and driven cheeks not significantly wide be stretched, but a slightly stretchy fabric can be with the aid of the adjustment device according to the invention awarded as cheek guide on the course of the Adjust fabric edge and the light goods can be in the required Pulled smoothly for insertion into the stenter become.

Fig. 1 shows a top view of the inlet field of a stenter. There are scissors against each other around vertical axes 1 Swiveling chain tracks 2 for endless chains 3, which is deflected around sprockets 4 in the fabric inlet area are shown. The chains 3 have holding means 5, e.g. Needles or clips to grasp the edges 6 of the in the transport direction 7 incoming fabric web 8. The current Position of the respective fabric edge 6 is in measured essentially continuously with a width sensor 9. The width sensor 9 passes its measured values on to a Regulation for controlling drive means, with the help of which individual chain track 2 about its axis 1 in the pivoting direction 10 can be pivoted back and forth. By this swing is the mutual distance between the chain conveyor ends or cheeks 11 adjustable. At the same time, the position of the holding means 5 the current position of the edge 6 of the incoming fabric 8 can be adjusted exactly and without delay. The cheeks 11 are by means of carrying wheels 12 on a horizontal support 13 movably mounted.

According to the invention, at least one of the carrying wheels 12 should be driven Friction wheel are formed and this support wheel 12th a drive motor 14 is to be spatially assigned directly. The carrying wheels 12 preferably come with solid rubber tires 15 Wheels in question. Generally, there will be two per cheek Carrier wheels 12 are provided, both preferably as solid rubber tires Friction wheels are to be trained. This is preferably according to the invention Friction wheel to be used built up from a metallic Core (e.g. rim) with a vulcanized elastomer for converting the torque of the connected drive motor into a frictional force between the friction wheel and the carrier.

In the context of the invention, one of the axes is preferred on the axis Carrier wheels 12 of each chain conveyor 11, a motor 14 set. As an engine are preferred here: helical geared motors, bevel helical geared motors, Worm geared motors and helical worm geared motors each with three-phase or DC operation.

The respective motor 14 is not shown, but the Specialist easily accessible regulation and control means in Dependence on the measurements of the associated width sensor 9 controlled.
