Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Preßmantels aus flexiblem Material für eine Preßvorrichtung zur Entwässerung einer Materialbahn in einem Preßspalt, insbesondere für Schuhpressen zur Papierherstellung, mit im wesentlichen in Umfangsrichtung (6) verlaufenden Rillen (1) in mindestens einer Oberfläche des Preßmantels (2) und in das Mantelmaterial eingebetteten Verstärkungsfäden (4, 5), von denen sich mindestens ein Teil (4) im wesentlichen in Umfangsrichtung (6) des Preßmantels (2) erstreckt, wobei zur Verringerung der Gefahr der Rißbildung die Verteilung der Rillen (1) über die Oberfläche des Preßmantels (2) in Abhängigkeit von der Verteilung der in Umfangsrichtung (6) verlaufenden Verstärkungsfäden (4) derart gewählt wird, daß die Rillen (1) und die Verstärkungsfäden (4) auch nicht abschnittsweise radial übereinander und in der gleichen Richtung verlaufen, sowie nach diesem Verfahren hergestellter Preßmantel.
