Description
The present invention relates to a press jacket for a Press device for dewatering a material web in one Press nip, in particular a paper web in a shoe press, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Ein derartiger Preßmantel ist beispielsweise aus DE-A-4401621 bekannt.Such a press jacket is known for example from DE-A-4401621.
It is known to press jackets for shoe presses with blind holes to provide water absorption to the drying performance of the Press increase. It is also known the drying performance by increasing grooves in the surface of the press sleeves.
Blind holes have a higher storage volume than grooves, however, the disadvantage that a large in the press nip hydraulic pressure is built up. This disadvantage occurs not with grooves, but only a smaller one Have water storage volume.
The invention has for its object a press jacket of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that a high level is maintained while maintaining sufficient jacket strength or while ensuring good jacket durability Water storage volume with low hydraulic pressure in the Press nip is given.
Diese Aufgabe wird
gemäß den
Merkmalen der Ansprüche 1, 2 oder 3 gelöst.This task will
according to the
Features of
As already mentioned, the blind holes ensure a high level Water retention capacity. By connecting the blind holes to extended in the web running direction longer than the press nip length Grooves, the hydraulic pressure in the press nip is also reduced, because the blind holes over the grooves with the sections are connected before and after the press nip, i.e. on Atmospheric pressure are connected. That in the blind holes Water absorbed can therefore partially through the grooves drain off, so that the emergence of a large hydraulic Pressure in the blind holes is prevented.
Basically, it is sufficient if the grooves have a length which is larger than the press nip length. This is always connected to atmospheric pressure. The Grooves can also be used across the entire direction of web travel measured press shell length extended grooves and be designed in particular as endless grooves. This is from easy to manufacture and allows connection at the same time several blind holes arranged one behind the other at atmospheric pressure.
According to another embodiment of the invention Grooves arranged helically around the press jacket. The grooves can be single, double or Form multiple helix. Helical grooves are also easy to manufacture and improve also the properties of the roll shell.
According to a further embodiment of the invention Blind holes evenly distributed over the surface of the jacket arranged. This will ensure even drainage reached.
The distances between adjacent blind holes can be in the be essentially the same. In particular, the distances adjacent blind holes should not differ from each other by more than 10%. This makes the drainage performance special good and even.
According to a further embodiment of the invention the grooves or grooves parallel to each other. Here are the Distances and the width of the grooves or grooves each essentially the same with each other. Even the uniformity the arrangement of the grooves or grooves increases the uniformity the drainage. In addition, the manufacture simplified.
The distance from edge to edge of adjacent grooves or According to a first aspect of the invention, grooves are less than or equal to the diameter of the Blind holes. This ensures that each blind hole is connected to at least one groove or groove.
In addition, the width of the grooves or grooves is preferably smaller or equal to the diameter of the blind holes. The blind holes can advantageously the main storage volume for form the water intake. The width of the grooves or grooves can be kept low as it is essentially serve to reduce the hydraulic pressure. A water intake from the paper web through the grooves or grooves basically not necessary so that the grooves or grooves can have a very narrow opening.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the depth the blind holes are greater than the depth of the attached ones Grooves or grooves. This configuration is also a result allows the main storage volume through the Blind holes is formed. The grooves or grooves can thereby be formed with a shallow depth as long as only it is ensured that sufficient water from the blind holes can flow out of the press nip area to a high Avoid hydraulic pressure. The strength of the press jacket this increases the risk of breakage or cracking reduced.
According to a second and third aspect of the invention, the blind holes are arranged along lines whose pitch angle β B to the web running direction is between 5 ° and approximately 15 °. Such an arrangement of the blind holes for drainage has proven to be favorable. In particular, the strength of the press jacket is relatively little affected by this and the risk of cracks spreading in the web running direction is reduced.
According to the third aspect of the invention, the grooves or grooves follow a line whose pitch angle α R corresponds to the pitch angle β B of the blind holes. The grooves or grooves are arranged so that the lines that the blind holes and the grooves or grooves follow coincide. This results in an arrangement in which the grooves or grooves are connected centrally to the blind holes. The water drainage is optimal and the press jacket durability is also good.
According to the second aspect of the invention, the grooves or grooves follow a line whose pitch angle α R is between 0.1 ° and approx. 3 °. The grooves or grooves run at a different angle than the blind holes. The connection of the grooves or grooves to the blind holes varies here via the press jacket.
The open area of the roll shell in the press area is preferably more than 30% of the total area of the press jacket in this area. This advantageously makes a high one Drainage performance guaranteed.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the Blind holes at least two different diameters. Here are the blind holes with different diameters preferably evenly over the surface of the press jacket distributed, in particular by using blind holes Larger and smaller diameters arranged alternately become. This will increase the water absorption without excessive reduction of the webs between the blind holes and thus achieved without too much loss of strength.
