Abstract

The suspension system consists of a first component (5) with at least one aperture for the end of a slat (2), and a second one-piece component, (6) located beneath the first and made from an elastomer material and shaped to anchor onto the bed frame. The two components (5, 6) are assembled by means of a mushroom-shaped projection (25) on the top of the second component, and a cavity (11) in the first component with claws (14) to engage with the underside of the mushroom cap (30).
