Abstract

The message display is fitted to the delivery nozzle of a petrol pump. The petrol pump delivers a signal identifying the pump when the nozzle is removed from its holder. The display screen is fitted at the handle of the pump nozzle, and displays information send from a central management unit (12). The management unit receives signals carrying message data from a broadcast unit (UD). Each message carries addressing data so it is carried to an individual screen. The activation of the display is automatically triggered by removal of the nozzle from the pump.
