Abstract

A centrifuge with a slide-in filter comprises a centrifuge basket, a filter cloth element which can be pushed into or out of it, and a machine housing, to which a first housing chamber with an outlet for discharging a filtrate and a second housing chamber with an outlet for discharging a filter cake are connected in the region of the centrifuge basket. The first housing chamber is sealingly enclosed by a first separate housing section and the second housing chamber is likewise sealingly enclosed by a second separate housing section. The two housing sections are mounted so that each is able to pivot in different directions around separate axes in such a way that they are pivotable individually between a closed state and an open state relative to the centrifuge basket.

Description

B E S C H R E I B U N G DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to an inverting filter centrifuge according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such an inverting filter centrifuge is known from DE 37 40 411 AI. In the known inverting filter centrifuge, the first and second housing spaces are formed by immovable walls. As a result, access to the centrifugal drum is made more difficult when cleaning is required, and the said housing spaces as such are also difficult to clean.
In this centrifuge, the lid and housing parts for opening or closing for cleaning can be separated or pivoted together in one direction. Lids and housing parts are only accessible to a limited extent during cleaning.
It is an object of the invention to develop a generic inverting filter centrifuge such that the centrifugal drum, e.g. for cleaning purposes, can be made easily accessible essentially from all sides and also the housings which surround the centrifugal drum are easy to clean.
The task is performed with the generic inverting filter centric fuge solved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
Es zeigen:An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is explained in more detail below. Show it:
Fig. 1 schematisch eine abgebrochene Schnittdar¬ stellung einer Stülpfilterzentrifuge mit ge¬ schlossener Schleudertrommel und eingestülp¬ tem Filtertuch;1 schematically shows a broken sectional view of an inverting filter centrifuge with a closed centrifugal drum and an inserted filter cloth;

Fig. 3 eine schematische Schnittansicht entlang der Linie 3-3 in Fig. 1 undFig. 3 is a schematic sectional view taken along line 3-3 in Fig. 1 and
Fig. 4 eine Schnittansicht ähnlich Fig. 3 mit geöff¬ neten Gehäuseteilen.FIG. 4 is a sectional view similar to FIG. 3 with the housing parts opened.
The inverting filter centrifuge shown in the drawing comprises a schematically indicated machine housing 1 which surrounds the drive part of the centrifuge (which is not visible on the right in the figures) and in which a hollow shaft 3 in bearings 4, 5 is rotatably supported on a stationary machine frame 2 is. The hollow shaft 3 can be put into rapid circulation by means of a motor (not shown). The hollow shaft 3 extends beyond a partition 6 which closes the machine housing 1 on its front side and has an axial axis (also not shown) running keyway in which a wedge piece 9 is axially displaceable. This wedge piece 9 is rigidly connected to a shaft 12 displaceable inside the hollow shaft 3. The shaft 12 therefore rotates together with the hollow shaft 3, but is axially displaceable in the latter.
At the end of the hollow shaft 3 protruding beyond the partition 6, a pot-shaped centrifugal drum 16 is flanged with its bottom 17 in a rotationally fixed manner. The centrifugal drum 16 has radially extending passage openings 18 on its circular cylindrical side wall. The centrifugal drum 16 is open on its end face opposite the bottom 17. The edge of an essentially circular cylindrical filter cloth 22 is tightly clamped onto a flange-like opening edge 19 by means of a retaining ring 21. The other edge of the filter cloth 22 is correspondingly tightly connected to a bottom piece 23 which is rigidly connected to the displaceable shaft 12 which freely penetrates the bottom 17.
A centrifugal chamber cover 25 is rigidly fastened to the base piece 23 by means of stud bolts 24, leaving a space free, which in FIG. 1 tightly closes the interior of the centrifugal drum 16 by resting on its opening edge 19 and in FIG. 2 together with the base piece 23 by axial Pushing the shaft 12 out of the hollow shaft 3 is lifted freely from the centrifugal drum 16. In FIG. 1 the filter cloth 22 is turned inside out on the centrifugal drum 16, in FIG. 2 the filter cloth 22 is turned inside out.
Connect to the machine housing 1 in the area of the centrifugal drum 16 two housing spaces 10 and 11, which are separated from one another by an annular end wall 14 near the opening edge 19 of the centrifugal drum 16. The first housing space 10 serves to discharge a filtrate which has penetrated the passage openings 18 of the centrifugal drum 16 and the filter cloth 22, and has an outlet opening 7 for this purpose. A filter cake deposited on this cloth can be removed via an outlet opening 8 of the second housing space 11 after the filter cloth 22 has been turned inside out.
Arranged on the front of the inverting filter centrifuge (on the left in the drawing) is a rigid, optionally removable, filling tube 26 which serves to supply a suspension to be broken down into its solid and liquid components into the interior of the centrifugal drum 16 (FIG. 1 ) and penetrates in the example shown in Fig. 2 operating state in a bore 27 of the sliding shaft 12, it being possible for the displacement of the shaft 12 and thus the opening and closing of the centrifugal drum 16 via (not shown in the drawing also "right-most) Drive motors, for example hydraulically.
In centrifugal operation, the inverting filter centrifuge assumes the position shown in FIG. 1. The displaceable shaft 12 is retracted into the hollow shaft 3, as a result of which the bottom piece 23 connected to the shaft 12 lies near the bottom 17 of the centrifugal drum 16 and the filter cloth 22 is inserted into the drum in such a way that it covers the through openings 18 inside it . The centrifuge chamber cover 25 has sealed onto the opening edge 19 of the centrifugal drum 16 hung up. When the centrifugal drum 16 is rotating, the suspension to be filtered is introduced through the filling tube 26. The liquid constituents of the suspension enter the first housing space 10 as a filtrate through the filter cloth 22 and the passage openings 18 and are passed there by a baffle plate 36 into a discharge line 37 connected to the outlet opening 7. The solid particles of the suspension are retained in the form of a filter cake by the filter cloth 22.
With the centrifuge drum 16 still rotating, usually more slowly, and after the suspension supply via the filling tube 26 has been switched off, the shaft 12 is now shifted (to the left) according to FIG Filter cake are thrown outwards in the direction of arrow 38 into the second housing space 11. The outlet opening 8 of this housing space 11 is connected to a discharge line 40, via which the components of the filter cake can be removed.
Fig. 4 zeigt den teilweise geöffneten Zustand. In the position according to FIG. 2, the filling tube 26 has penetrated into the bore 27 of the shaft 12 through corresponding openings in the cover 25 or in the base piece 23. After the dropping of the solid particles forming the filter cake under the influence of the centrifugal force, the filter centrifuge is brought back into the operating position according to FIG. 1 by pushing back the shaft 12, the filter cloth 22 turning back in the opposite direction. In this way, the centrifuge can be operated with a continuously rotating centrifugal drum 16. The housing space 10 is enclosed by an independent, inherently rigid, annular, for example approximately annular housing part 50 ("filtrate housing part"), one opening edge of which, with the interposition of a seal (not shown), bears against the partition 6 of the machine housing 1, during which formed by the end wall 14, other opening edge also with the interposition of a (not shown) seal adjacent to the outside of the opening edge 19 of the centrifugal drum 16. On the underside of the first housing part 50, the outlet opening 7 is formed, which in turn is connected to the discharge line 37 in a sealed manner with the interposition of seals (not shown). 3 and 4, the housing part 50 can be pivoted about a vertical axis 52, so that it can be transferred from an closed state, in which it surrounds the centrifugal drum 16, to an open state. Fig. 4 shows the partially open state. The housing part 50 can be pivoted further away from the centrifugal drum, so that it is accessible - completely unhindered by the housing part 50 - for example for the purpose of cleaning without obstruction. The same naturally also applies to the housing part 50 itself. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the axis of rotation 52 is received in a hinge-like manner by projections 54, 56 which are attached to the housing part 50 or to the machine housing 1 (partition 6). are rigidly arranged.
Just like the first housing space 10, the second housing space 11 adjoining it is enclosed by a rigid, pot-shaped, essentially cylindrical housing part 51 (“solid housing part”). The housing part 51 has a closed end wall 59 with a passage opening for the filling tube 26 and one of the end wall opposite opening edge, which rests sealed on the first housing part 50. Like the first housing part 50, the second housing part 51 can also be pivoted about a vertical axis 53 (FIGS. 3 and 4), which runs through projections 55, 57 on the housing part 51 or on the machine housing 1 (partition 6). The housing part 51 can also be pivoted beyond the opening position shown in FIG. 4, so that completely unobstructed access to the centrifugal drum 16 and housing part 51 is made possible. The housing part 51 has on its underside the outlet opening 8, which (in a manner not shown) is connected to the discharge line 40 in a sealed manner.
It is also possible to only place the second housing part 51 in the open state, but to leave the first housing part 50 in the closed state. In this case, cleaning of the housing part 51 (from solid matter) is possible, for example, or the filter cloth 22 and / or the seals on the centrifugal drum 16 can be replaced.
The sealing of the outlet openings 7, 8 on the housing parts 50 and 51 takes place in such a way that the pivoting of the housing parts 50, 51 is not hindered, for example by sliding seals.
Grundsätzlich können die Gehäuseteile 50, 51 jedoch auch so bemessen werden, daß ihre Überführung aus dem geschlossenen in den geöffneten Zustand auch bei abgehobenem SchleuderraumdeckelThe transfer of the housing parts 50, 51 from the closed to the open state (FIG. 4) can take place when the centrifuge chamber cover 25 is closed, which is only lifted off the centrifugal drum 16 when the housing parts 50, 51 have been pivoted away accordingly. respectively. Basically, however, the housing parts 50, 51 can also be dimensioned such that their transfer from the closed to the open state even when the centrifuge chamber cover is lifted off
25 möglich ist.25 is possible.
Vor einer Verschwenkung des zweiten Gehäuseteils 51 in Öffnungsstel¬ lung wird das zu diesem Zweck abnehmbar ausgebildete FüllrohrIn the illustrated embodiment of the housing parts 50, 51, first the second housing part 51 and then the first housing part 50 is transferred from the closed to the open state. Conversely, the first housing part 50 is first brought into tight contact with the machine housing 1, whereupon the second housing part 51 is connected to the first housing part 50 in a sealed manner by pivoting (FIG. 1). Before the second housing part 51 is pivoted into the open position, the filler tube, which is designed to be removable for this purpose, becomes
26 entfernt.26 removed.
The filler tube 26 can also be firmly connected to the second housing part 51 in such a way that when the housing part 51 is opened it detaches from its inlet opening on the centrifuge chamber cover 25 and is pivoted away together with the housing part 51. In this case, a suspension feed line connected to the fill pipe 26 outside the housing part 51 must be removed from the fill pipe, or this feed line must be flexible.
