Description

The invention relates to a folded product and a Process for its production and an apparatus for Execution of the method according to the generic term of claims 1, 3 and 4.

By DE 20 10 024 and DE 21 18 454 it is known, using folding jaws and folding knives in Signatures to introduce a cross fold and so on To produce folded product.

The disadvantage here is that the folded products after cross fold close to the cross fold edge bulge what is in the further processing or Further transport can lead to difficulties.

The invention is based on the object Folded product as well as a method and an associated one To create device with which an arching of the Folded product as close as possible to the cross fold is avoided.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing parts of claims 1, 3 and 4 solved.

The advantages that can be achieved with the invention exist especially in that the folded product by the Introduce one located near the holding edge Embossing results in a sharp, stable fold break and a subsequent bulging of the folded product prevented. This is particularly true of tabloid products from Advantage.

B. mittels Schrauben befestigt.A folding jaw cylinder 1 instructs in a known manner distributed over its circumference, several jaw systems. Each jaw system consists of a first row lined up on a support and in a known manner pivotable jaw elements 4, with a second row of cylinder-fixed counter-fold flap elements 3 work together. You can also use both rows of Folding jaw elements 3, 4 can be arranged pivotably. In principle, each jaw element 4 or each counterfold flap element 3 from one Fastening plate 5, 10 and a folding tool carrier 15, 20. The mounting plate 10, 5 each Folding element 4 or each Counter-fold flap element 3 is pivotable on one stored or on a cylinder-fixed carrier, for. B. attached by screws.

Jeder Falzwerkzeugträger 15, 20 weist eine abgeschrägte Falzfläche 11, 12 bzw. 13, 14 auf. Zumindest eine Falzfläche 11 oder 12 bzw. 13 oder 14 ist davon profiliert. Sind zwei FaLzflächen 11, 12 bzw. 13, 14 profiliert, so sind beide Falzflächen 11, 12 bzw. 13, 14 bei geschlossenem Falzmaul kammartig miteinander in Eingriff bringbar. Each folding tool carrier 15, 20 has a bevelled one Folding surface 11, 12 or 13, 14. At least one Folding surface 11 or 12 or 13 or 14 is of it profiled. Are two fold surfaces 11, 12 and 13, 14 profiled, so both rebate surfaces 11, 12 and 13, 14th with the jaws closed, like a comb Intervention can be brought.

According to the first embodiment, both wear Folded surfaces 11, 12 z. B. high parts 16, 18 with rectangular cross-section (Fig. 2), which differs from an outer retaining edge 21, 22 over the fold surface 11, 12 with a length L, z. B. 4 mm towards an inner Fold edges 23, 24 extend. The high parts 16, 18 each have a width e and are each by low lying parts 17, 19 with a width d separated or adjacent. Here, d> e, e.g. B. 7 mm> 5 mm. The high parts 16 of the Counterfold flap element 3 are closed Folding jaw 8 with the low lying parts 19 of the Folding element 4 intermeshing. Likewise are the low lying parts 17 of the Counter-fold flap element 3 with the high parts 18 of the jaw element 4 intermeshing, so that a signature 7 after a cross folding by means of a Folding knife 6 to a folded product 9 also short Longitudinal embossments 26 receives (Fig. 8). The longitudinal embossments 26 do not run parallel to the folded edge 23, 24, the so-called cross fold edge.

The high parts 16, 18 and the low parts Parts 17, 19 extend from the outer retaining edge 21, 22 at an angle alpha <180 °, e.g. B. from 10 ° to 170 °, but preferably at an angle alpha of 90 ° to Folding edge 23, 24 of the folding surface 11, 12 (Fig. 1 to 3). The folded product thus receives 9 embossings 26 which preferably in the transport direction G of the Folded product 9 or in the direction of movement F of Folding knife 6 run. The embossments 26 are in the Cross section rectangular, so that Section modulus of the folded product 26 in its Direction of transport G is increased. The low lying Parts 17, 19 face the high parts 16, 18 over the entire length l of the fold surface 11, 12 the same level difference.

After a further development of the invention the high 16, 18 with respect to the low Parts 17, 18 from the outer retaining edge 21, 22 to inner fold edge 23, 24 of the fold surface 11, 12 each at an angle beta, e.g. B. of 4 ° (Fig. 1 and 3). Consequently are the high parts 16, 18 from the outer Holding edge 21, 22 to the inner folded edge 23, 24 of the Fold surface 11, 12 increasingly wedge-shaped, d. H. the surface of the fold surface 11, 12 enlarged yourself in that direction constantly.

According to the second embodiment, everyone wears pivotable jaw element 4 on its fold surface 14 protruding parts 27, each with a triangular Cross-section. Every cylinder-fixed counterfold flap element 3 has 13 grooves 28 on its fold surface, which at closed jaw 8, d. H. Distance of the folding surfaces 13, 14 equal to zero, form-fitting with each other in Intervention can be brought.

The grooves 28 can be continuous, i. H. over the whole Length l be formed with a width h. The same then applies to the protruding parts 27 with the Grooves 28 with a closed jaw 8 in a form-fitting manner Are intervention.

These protruding parts 27 or grooves 28 run from the outer retaining edge 21, 22 at an angle Alpha <180 °, e.g. B. from 10 ° to 170 °, preferably however at an angle alpha of 90 ° to the inner Folding edge 23, 24 of the folding surface 13, 14.

The protruding parts 27 and the grooves 28 on the outer retaining edge 21, 22 still a distance h, e.g. B. of 12 mm from each other while they end up the fold surface 13, 14, at the fold edge 23, 24, each other touch. This increases the surface area of the Folding surface 13, 14 constantly in the direction mentioned. On Pitch angle beta, e.g. B. of 4 ° exists between a protruding part 27 and the bottom of the groove 28 (not shown).

In summary, the method according to the invention exists in that one in the folding jaw 8 one Folding system brought in by the folding knife 6 Signature 7 is crimped and is wavy Embossing 26 receives. Through the embossments 26 is the Paper fiber composite at least partially stretched. It will a permanent set, d. H. achieved an embossing. The embossments 26 each extend in one length L, preferably in the direction of movement F of Folding knife 6.

So in the immediate vicinity of the outer transverse fold edge 2 configured folding product 9 points in the transport direction G of the folded product 9 an increased section modulus on.

So through the embossing everyone gets sheets of the folded product 9 one on top of the other permanent deformation without the individual leaves somehow connected to each other, like in a Detention would happen.
