Abstract

The machine has a reel-spool, which is held during winding start-up by a primary bearing (17), and during finish winding by a secondary bearing (27). The primary bearing is fastened stationary to the transporter (5) for the pressure application drum (19). A control/regulator (67,68) to influence the line force in the winding gap, acts with the pressure application unit (22) for the roller. There is a lifter (10) for the transporter. Primary and secondary bearing have an associated primary drive (33,32), pref. central drive, for the reel-spool (31). The primary drive is fastened to the transporter, which moves on a first guide (9) with rail (7).
